The app needs to be updated and the bugs worked out. It's continually shutting down on it's own. Also the app doesn't give any notifications when someone messages you, which makes it hard to respond back in a timely manner. As far as the matches, I only saw maybe 2-3 profiles of men who actually live in the same city as me. I live in a large metropolitan area and thought I would have the opportunity to be able to meet people I could date in person.

The intent is wonderful but the bug issues and slowness of the app, the crashing, etc keep me from wanting to pay for something I can't use. The comments that say they have worked on these issues... I see improvements from years ago... but the app still isn't useful enough to bring me back to a paid subscription.

Eh. Unimpressed. Disappointed actually. I've paid for 1 month and click the lightning bolt only to be told "no matches found"? Edit the search, and still no matches?? Why are the few profiles available 100+ miles away? I'm not interested in long distance. Why do they show people's salary on the profile?! That's not information for some random stranger. Take that off!!! *face palm* Welp... Womp. Womp.

Not many options on this app and I'm in a huge city. I did do a search outside the city and state but it's not many options at all... i paid for 1 month so I'll be canceling 😏

I really like this app and the entailed screening process you have to go through in order to become a member. This eliminates the catfishers, which has gotten well out of control.

Just a honest review.. so far RBL is good for those seeking strictly black love I love it , a few things RBL Should fix is having more than 250 characters in the bio section.. maybe like 500-100'll do.. and I would say a boosting system where as people could match and connect quicker , I would say add voice notes for people who don't always wanna text, and adjust the distance setting you say 50 miles within area people are 2x out the distance 125 and up, please work on that 😇

RBL is a new App I recently started using! I LOVE that the verification process takes away People whose intent is to catfish others..It's been a very good experience so far..Also unlike other sites you don't get alot of unwanted DM's. The people are not just in your immediate area so you get to try your luck with people all over! Hopefully I will have sucess here and will be deleting it because I've found the perfect one!!

This app has been around for I feel like over a year now and it is STILL slow. I don't understand how many people are in the team but this has to be corrected. This app could be poppin but it has to get WAY better.

While I agree with some of the other reviewers that the Android version of the app doesn't function properly, I also have an iPhone and was able to test that version as well; iOS app works MUCH better. I had no issues with the iOS version at all. Outside of that and the photo distortion, I like how the app and its functionality are set up. It's well thought-out and I applaud the creators for keeping things legit and ensuring catfish can't swim here.

This is the app you've been waiting for. The selection criteria is on point, easy to use, reviewed by admin to get rid of the bots, and an app for its to find is. I'm excited about the prospects I've seen and the potential to finally find rbl!

I just downloaded this app so my experience is very limited. So far, I am not sure I like the interface and navigation of things. It could be my phone. When searching and putting in my filters I an noticing that some of the things I didn't want to show in my search list shows up. In addition, the profile photos look stretched out and distorted. I'm going to try to give it some time to try it out before making a decision to stay. I'm also not sure the benefits/diffs of the packages in my area.

The app is a good idea but not working. when you're trying to go to the different pages, they connection times out and you have to click over and over and over again. You also can't message anyone without paying for a subscription nor can you see the messages that someone left you. Unproductive in my opinion, I don't even have the opportunity to connect with anyone to see if I would want to pay for a longer subscription. the customer service is attentive, I emailed them recently about why I couldn't see my messages with a premium membership but no response yet. Hopefully they'll work out the Kinks and this app can be 100% great!

This app has quickly become my favorite. It is really easy to navigate and it is used friendly. Its different from other apps, as in everything is sent to the RBL team and verified before your pics or descriptions are posted. This keeps the garbage to a minimum and the real connections happening. I have had zero issues so far. Good work in this app.

Its a fairly decent app for the most part. Filtering searches and more search "options" are definitely needed. Just needs some more tweaking. In closing, one really big pet peeve is that we should have the option to terminate our account through the app or website. I appreciate how quickly i got a response through email. However, only allowing members to "deactivate" their accounts makes me feel uncomfortable personally about dealing with that particular app. Hope this helps.

Its ok but could be better.... It seems like there is always a system lag when scrolling. Been on for a few months after giving it a second try. The first time had no luck. I understand yes you have to pay but the options /quality of potentials isnt the greatest. I get monthly system error issues where I can't log into my account and it often times takes a while before customer service responds.

So far so good, I like the no catfishing aspect of the app so nobody can be fooled. I suggest making it requirement to post at least 3 pictures minimum. The photos might be verified but the one profile pictures some have do not allow you to really see their face. So far I don't have any issues other than the pool is very young, I am assuming that once I pay for a subscription I can utilize more features so I will see. I will follow up in about a month. So far no complaints.

Heard about the app previously and didn't join until I heard about it again on social media. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. After trying on both platforms, Google has better interface graphically. Apple has more search options, but not as smooth graphically. I am enjoying the opportunity that the app presents during this time and appreciate the commitment to keeping it real! Thanks

I'm enjoying the app so far. Easy to navigate and edit one's information accordingly. I like that they must approve all pics and are clear regarding inappropriate pictures or what content will be grounds for termination. No room for error. I do notice that replying to multiple people calls for an upgrade but to be able to have a free response is pretty cool. The suitors so far are good looking and respectable. I'll be sure to do a review after using the app for 30 days.

This app is just ok. Two good things about it is that the person can verify their photo so no catfishing. Another good thing is you can delete a conversion if you're not interested and the person can't contact you anymore. To me the pics look distorted on the app, not many men my age in Houston that have active accounts, and they don't have a way to cancel your account on the app. That needs to be implemented. I wouldn't reccomend the app though. Nothing special about it.

So far the app looks promising. The selection of men is lush. There are search features that narrows down state, age, education, height. You can change anytime so youre not stuck looking in one state. You dont get bothered by spam or msgs from otherr countries, which is a big deal and no ads. Photos and profiles are verified before even allowing to browse which is very different from other apps. Im hoping to find the man of my dreams here. Id love to be a part of the real black love experience.

I have to edit my original review after the new update to version 5.0.3. Not to sound harsh as I really like the RBL platform, but the newest version of the app is the worst in my opinion. The search option is fully functioning. I can no longer see who viewed my profile and I can't edit my search options either. There are other features that are no longer showing as well. Not sure if this was intentional or an app bug for Android users. If it's a bug, I'll edit the review once it's fixed.
