Blackjack Strategy Practice, Blackjack Trainer

Please make an effort to fix this app. It immediately began freezing & crashing every few hands after I installed it. Coming back to the reviews, I see this is a common problem, yet you have not updated in over a year? I like the layout & would have been willing to buy the pro version if it worked without crashing. However, I'm uninstalling for now to avoid the frustration. Fix it & I'll be back.

Mostly good for training basic strategy, but I would prefer it to be more random. Seems like it takes you through a lot of soft totals with a small number of hard totals and pairs mixed in then it switches to being heavy on pairs. Does have good options for selecting hand types if you want to focus on areas you still need more practice in.

Android 10.Moto G7 Power. APP crashes (locks-up) after 6-10 hands. I really like the layout of the main screen. I don't like the layout of the Strat Card screen, cluttered and is heavy on CPU/Vid processes making it very sluggish, maybe break it down some. 1*, can't use it, it's just screen clutter. If it worked properly I'd pay for it, no problem.

Without buying the app, youre unable to access the special features/settings, leaving you with the most-basic/standard version of the game. But, other than that, I find the overall purpose of what the game is designed for, exactly what i was hoping it to be. The formula is steadfast via learnability, rendering the player increasingly competant and well-versed in blackjack player tactics; Knowing how to play each hand based on the numbers shown, allows for higher potential winnings.

Overall good free app, smooth to use. You can get through a lot if hands quickly. Big problem: there is an error in the strategy table. The table says to double a hard 9 against a dealer's 7, 8 and 9 but the summary says, correctly, to hit.

Great app for practicing basic strategy. Simple, effective, and efficient. Plus, it will tell you either why you were right or wrong after each hand which is very helpful when you're just starting out and not always sure why you got a hand correct. Great app!👍

Quick learning tool if you want to remember when to hit, dbl, stay, or split. Makes learning "The Book" fun. Several time I will get incorrect result based on the strategy card. Strategy card says to db 9 against 8 when you dbl in the training mode it gives you an incorrect result. Also is gives conflicting results on A,7 results say always stay on soft 18+ strategy card says different.

Advanced stats (for $$), only shows Hard, Soft, & Splits. Can the developer show pct & count for exact hands I keep missing? Ex Pairs are 78% correct, but what about 8a, 4s, etc and how many hands were they each?

Overall good trainer. The advice sometimes varies from other sources in some situations. There are a couple of internal conflicts where the answer and reason contradict each other, but overall it's useful for learning blackjack. Nags you a lot to leave a review, as you see it worked, but not the 5 stars they were hoping for.

Shows 5-A against dealer 4, which is a double, and it says correct if you select double but the explanation says "always hit a hard 8 or less" not the only error. Several others as well.

After about twenty hangs it freezes. Also many times it tells me that my play is incorrect but the explanation tells me that I played it right. Fix this issues and you might have a good app.

Very effective trainer for basic strategy. One problem arises when app locks up and you can not play. Happened twice in short period. Deleting app now.

Overall a great app, but it crashes on my phone pretty frequently. I don't know if it is something wrong with the app or with my phone. Otherwise a great app.

On the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G and I notice the app after about 5 minutes of play becomes unresponsive. Nothing works. It just stays on the screen but no buttons work.

There's an error when I'm dealt 11 and the dealer has an ace. I select hit and the app indicates that to be incorrect even though it says to double on 11 when unless the dealer has ace.

Crashes a lot. Bugs for rating after 20 in a row. Some tool tips are off. Solid free practice.

Sometimes the descriptions are inconsistent with the "right move". Infrequent though, and everything's good besides that

App app scores hands inconsistently with its own ruleset descriptions. That is, it score "incorrect" when I have done exactly what the description says I should have done.

It is a good tool, however I know the basic rules and some times it says I made a incorrect play and I know I didn't,there is a glitch in it because it will say I was wrong,and in the example I did the right thing that it says I should have done.

Paid for app and does not work. You can spend the time creating your own strategy but the app just ignores the input. Waste of $5.

Best blackjack strategy training app I've tried so far, UI is very clearn and custom strategy gives me flexibility.

This is an excellent trainer for basic strategy. Will probably buy the upgrade so i can test deviations for dealer hits soft 17, no surrender, Spanish 21 etc.

Worked well for a couple hands and froze. Had to shut down and restart. Did this several times. Not worth it.

I love this app It's easy to see the cards and play with speed and I'm improving my basic strategy

After 20 hands in a row it will keep asking for a review if you keep you streak. Very annoying!

Great for learning, easy to use. Sometimes freezes, otherwise great.

For soft hands (A,2) for instance, you make your decision and it will say "Incorrect, double soft 12 against..." but A,2 is not soft 12, its soft 13.

Freezes a lot. I just paid 5 dollars for this and now I can barely go 5 hands before it stops working.

Errors. Misidentifies dealer cards. Especially 9's. Causes "wrong" answer and therefore incorrect explaination as to why.

Extremely good app except for the fact that it kept crashing! Would have given 5 stars otherwise!
