Meh. My phone screen light still blocks most of it out increase the glow on the purple and should show more things up. My dad has a real black light and my shoes are neon so they didn't glow no where near like the real thing. Still showed up I guess. Defs needs a update
There is no need to download the app just click on the screen shot it exactly looks like the apparently you dowoad.
It isn't a true blacklight idiots, it's a phone. However it worked for the only reason I downloaded it-to get an idea of how my nails would look. The purple light (dimly) resembles blacklight, mimicking the way light would react with the colors of my nailpolish.
This is a disgrace to all black lights the makers are cheap people and u should be ashamd or ur selves and the people who gave this a five your an idiot. Like did u go to school😟😤😤😤
Ur all idiots I'm 5 staring this cause y'all thought it would actually work, u would need a modified backloght not just a different colour XD
ahhh...this black light app is just what i need for finding my tools that i have painted with fluorescent paint so i can find them at night when the moon is being blocked out by these chemical trails that these planes keep leaving for us...thank you google...maybe those planes are in need of an exhaust upgrade or something...
It's a freeking cool buds the light shines in the background while my girl gives me head ohhhh yeah.far out..
...bcause you thought the app actually turns your phone into a real UV light - y'all a special kind of stupid aren't you. Why haven't you tried turning your desk lamp into the SUN
Really I think its retared but ill get it 5stars because its bright and purple :)
Im using an android galaxy mini but all it is is purple. At least there is no special permitions.
Tell me why people can still download this crap. It doesn't do anything a black light should do. If you just want to see a purple light on your phone then by all means download this app. Me, I'm uninstalling and never looking back.
This is sooo stupid not even a blacklight it just regular purple can't even show my tattoo that glow
Didn't really think it wld work but figured id give it a chance and I was right this app is retarded. Don't waste your time
I love it! I use this everytime I go to the skating rink, just to make sure that my highlighter worked on my skin. Thxs :-)
Get a fluoro yellow neon highlighter pen and draw on your skin, then hold phone near. It will glow if your phone supports this. Samsung Galaxy Note
I installed this just to call everyone idiots. There's like three reviewers that realize a non-uv light can't be turned into a uv light via an app. Giving this a 5 star just to spite you all.
I enjoyed the random rants of stupidity. I'm high and everyone's comments made me laugh - 5 stars.
I understand it's not a real blacklight but it's til fun to see neon colors wit it
This app is horible all it is just a purple light. Dont waist your time intalling.
Doesn't work as a real black light. Waste of time
How dumb can some people be you did realize that it didn't work and it will never work. Enjoy your people light....!
Can't work unless cell phones start coming out with ultra voilet displays
As others have said, its just a purple light, and a waste of time.
Waste of time, some people expect these phones to do everything.
This program is entertaining enough to be kool. Brings out the best user comments. I would gladly pay the developer, but $1.99 USD is a bit too high for this blue blood.
I can't see the "invisible" stuff that I know is there.
This works a little but only a LITTLE in the dark. I would like to say good try and good effort about this. Please don't hate on the creator. Good Try!
A uv black light cannot be mimmicked on a phone with an led screen. Haha it entertains me greatly!!
Yeah, I installed this in the off chance that my Samsung AM-OLED screen might have full spectrum capability, which in turn might include near-UV. FYI: Near-UV is the deepest of violet (or "purple") light. The point on the spectrum dividing visible light from ultraviolet is 400 nM; visible being above this wavelength and ultraviolet below. Near-UV obviously is visible light that hovers slightly above 400 nM. To the eye it's a deep purple but it also can stimulate fluorescent objects to glow.
