In an effort to rid myself of pesky exes and wrong number repeat offenders, I searched for an sms/mms/call blocking app that I wouldn't have to give up my default messaging app to use. I chose this app because of the high rating compared with similar apps. It's not blocking any messages though. It says it does, in my notification bar, but there they are, in my messages, bright as day. The only thing it does is block the notification sound and pop up that I have a new text. LG G3 running Android 4.4.
It works sometimes...it has been blocking calls, but it sends them to my voicemail... I set it up to pick up before block. And whenever I get an unwanted phonecall, it says blacklist quit working and sends the call to voicemail anyways. Also, does not block texts...it says it blocked the text but I'm still getting them on my sms. Fix these issues and I'll give five stars and contemplate spending money on the app.
Does NOT work. Blacklist numbers can still call and phone rings... I also set it not to allow anonymous calls. That did NOT work Anonymous callers get right through Basically, this app does nothing that it claims to do.. Uninstalling now...
It wk grt at first then it just quit all blocked text, calls coming thru so uninstalling
Simply put doesn't work. Had someone to text me who is not on my contact list, and the text got through. I have it to block all not on my contact list. Failed to do so. I also read some Forum questions and I see a question raised 4 months ago has only gotten two further comments from manufacturer stating issue still not resolved. Four months later and an issue not resolved? Tells you all you need to know. Final Answer uninstall
Does not work. Sends notification saying its blocking sms but yet all the texts still come right into my inbox
it blocks 80% the numbers on the blacklist and I have no idea why it just fails to do the 20% work left.
It does not block any text or sms messages. It pops up saying that it has blocked it, but then I can see the message about 2 seconds later. I don't want to see the text messages. I hate this app.
I have to write down the number to save for blocking . why not be able to block from call list
It blocks calls fine, but doesn't block mms, which is the whole reason I got the app. Calls Blacklist is a better app for just a call blocker.
It worked like a charm! Exactly what I needed it to do. It blocked mms but had the option to not block sms. It let me keep those pesky group chat messages under control without completely blocking the number. If you don't frequently delete the history, the app will quit sometimes. Easy fix though. I love this app!!!!
Works good.. unlike other blocker that do not know the difference between blocked or unblock. Number not in you list still show up on you recent caller list. They just don't ring to annoy you.

Won't block any number even though it a let's me it did. It still comes through my phone. Uninstalling it.
Vary good apps but some time it not work on for blocking SMS there for I'm having 4star pls fix it
It is blocking calls in xperia z5 but there is no sign of notification and even no call history. If this is fixed i may buy Add free version. Thanks
Does not block calls from coming in. Let's it ring once then blocks I want it to stop calls coming in.
This app does not block smses and mms. Instead, it displays them in the usual inbox and neither does it show calls or SMSes history! The first beep is still there. However, it blocks calls.
I like this app. I think it works pretty well. I just don't like that the history comes up in my call log though.
It's not blocking my blacklist. Thought this was one of the best? SMS are just flowing freely through my regular message inbox as well as the blacklisted block history. I know I have the settings right cause I've tested it over and over. Uninstalling. I need one that works.
I'm not sure if it works for blocking calls but I added some numbers to block texts from and the texts still came through. I double checked the settings and everything it should've worked.
Great but it won't let me send my block history to my email. Also I unchecked block calls but checked blocked texts and it still blocks the calls.
Please add functional to block messages by keywords. All other features are good.
Set to block just one number but texts still come through even though blacklist identifies it in its log. Stupid.
Ironically, its rather allows my unwanted calls and texts to permeate my call log as well as my inbox. The idea is good but poorly executed. Fiasco!

The texts showed up in the history and they still came through maybe it doesn't work on my phone this is the third app I've tried now. :(

Used this app before on a previous phone and it was faultless but now it seems all SMS are being blocked except contact numbers even though I have selected blacklist only for SMS. Plenty of options besides and I like how calls, SMS and MMS can all be configured differently. Still a much better app than others that I have tried despite some functions not working as they should, I hope the developer can fix these little bugs.
