A great app for anyone who has their phone set to a very strict aesthetic, it does exactly as it say with zero ads, and is genuinely easy to use (and forget about) if you dont change your phones settings often. I ran into a tiny issue, my phone update and the blank widget was stick on my screen but after just redoing it in the app it solved quickly. It probably wasnt even the app itself, just my phones update messing with it.
I used a blank to start a new page, but could not figure out how to make it the homepage. I leapfrogged all my other ones until it was the first to appear when I pushed the home button. Then I stumbled on the easy way to move pages by longpressing on one. What I see is a screen with digital + analog clockfaces now. Merry Christmas! to Straight Up!
The widget worked. Yes app icon is white and transparent, but it is not about using the icon. The app provides a transparent widget that you can place on your home screen so you can see your wallpaper. That's all. Well, I think the dev should provide a screenshot how the widget should look on home screen.
It's exactly what it's called. My phone won't let me have a blank screen to see my background so I got this to register as an app being there and it's invisible. It works great. You can make it visible again so you don't loose it and the app is always last in your apps list.
I have an OPPO Reno Z which I don't believe supports having a blank home screen, and I'm the kind of person that loves to have one just to see my wallpaper. I use the widget to fill an entire new screen so now I can have a "blank" home screen! Also, I don't have to worry about accidental clicks because tapping the widget doesn't do anything! Great app! Edit: I updated to Android 10 which made the widget visible, but now the app icon is invisible so I was able to move the app to the home screen.
It works well enough, but every time I restart my phone the blank widgets become visible again, and I have to go into the app and turn them off and on again. It's not a huge deal but as a modder who restarts his phone often, it can get annoying.
I'm at a standstill using this app. All I get is a black square in place of the app. I am running nova prime on my galaxy s7 7.0 This happens even when I download a blank png off the web. So I am not going to say it's the apps fault. Can you please give some advice. UPDATE: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE, I FOUND IT REFRESHING AND HELPFUL. I followed your advice, and presto it worked,, I even tried to recreate the problem, to no avail. Thanks for your help. Best wishes.
Very useful. The transparent widgets are indeed placed on the screen as expected and are recognized as placeholders by the system. Therefore the app doesn't seem to detect them anymore. Count is always 0, widgets can't be shown etc..
well i wanted to have one side just be my wallpaper instead i had to have some app/ widget there or it doesnt recognize that i just want this sode a walllaper and the next swipe over to be the clock and all the apps and what not. with this app i can see my wall paper better. my wall paper is very important to me because its my vision board and im trying to program it into everything i look at.
Although this app is made exceptionally well and does exactly what it says, I've been looking for an invisible widget that allows you to launch apps upon tapping its area (so I can finally make my aesthetic-focussed interface). I know it's a big ask, but do you think you could consider incorporating this into your app? Or do you know any apps that match my description? Many thanks (:
This app does exactly as intended. The app icon is not invisible, but it has a widget that is. You can turn on and off widget invisibility and it works great for a wallpaper you would like to view without any icons being in the way.
I guess by use of the word "icon" I expected the ability to create invisible icons to launch various apps. This app doesn't do that. This app adds a custom icon option, but selecting it crashes the phone (forced restart.) Elsewise, the app can successfully create a blank widget, but that widget can't be edited to actually do anything; An invisible thing that performs no function, except to use up memory - What is the point?!
Super simple and easy! In less than 2 minutes my home screen is "empty" so I can view my wallpaper without a widget. I had a family member pass and I wanted to have our picture as my wallpaper without distractions. Thanks for such a simple but meaningful app!
Bought a phone that wouldn't let me add a blank homescreen. This allowed me to get round the problem and alleviated my OCD! Thank you!!! Now I can have a blank homescreen and scroll to the additional homescreens to select my apps. This wasn't an option before I discovered this app.
Has suddenly become incompatible with Nova Launcher. Developer hasn't updated website or email to report issue. Developer responded two months ago stating they'd update straight away: still nothing. (P. S. widgets can't be used as an icon pack in a launcher as suggested) In the AndroidManifest they have this line: android:label="" and that is what is breaking it. They need to update that and put something between the "" marks.
I'm glad I'm not the only person annoyed enough with the inability to have a blank homescreen to need an app. Works great. Anchors my home screen wallpaper without clutter. 5/4 thanks so much for fixing this petty annoyance with this wonderfully simple app
Perfect for what i need! theres a function that lets you see the widget(s) so you can move them arpund at any time. the app is great and i highly recommend it if you want a blank screen!
Excellent, with doing phone design, this app has greatly improved design options. Updated suddenly stopped working, can't sit an icon on a widget, tried even swopping my launcher also I've found it impossible to swop the icons for the invisible ones, I'm now given up with this app so unfortunately I'm uninstalling
A simple app that provides a nice function. One star deducted because widgets are not showing up, even though I have app set to show widgets. I want them temporarily visible because I mistakenly installed two. Also, I wish the app's icon was visible.
Excellent app. The name suggests it's just a simple blank icon, but you can actually make adjustments with very useful settings. I can now use the blank widgets to align other icons and widgets to create a more pleasing homescreen.
I had already got a blank widget which I'm very happy with, but what I wanted was a blank app. I have folders on my home page which contain bookmarks and I wanted a blank space between a set. This provided that.o can't understand though why this actually builds up cache, and why it's 3.5mb when it's essentially empty and not empty anything? My other blank widget is only kbs and doesn't build any cache. I haven't tried the storing blank icons. Don't knew if they work. Overall happy.
Amazing thing. One thing I want to be added: enable to add icons that do not react for touch. I use only 2 shortcuts on bottom of my homescreen and since andoid 10 does not let me pull apart this shortucuts to screen borders i need to add blank icons there. But pressing blank area opens widget. Can you add that once pressing blank homescreen icon (or shortcut on homescreen) it does not open up aplication? If i want to open app i will go setttings -> apps and open to change things. I just need some blank icons to pull apart shortcuts. That would be just perfect!
Widget works as intended, however the icon is a white circle, but just use the widget and it's flawless. Edit: the icon only works for some phones, but not the Pixel 2, but still amazing.
I searched for invisible app and got this. I just wanted to be able to swipe to a blank page on my phone to show my background without having an app there and it worked :) really happy with it
Works great for customizing the home screen! Especially, if you're used to old versions of Android where you can see your live wallpaper in landscape! Thanks!
I still can't see my wallpaper the app is totally white not transparent Also, there is something in the app. I thought it was blank... I hope you think my comment is helpful because it's good for white wallpapers but not other colors. But if you want to download this app because there's not any apps that is more transparent than this app then you can.
Really exceptional. Although would've liked if the icons had customisable shadows with transparency to better find it on the home screen. Still better than anything on the store.
At first this app was fantastic, but last week after a forced over WiFi upgrade it's become a little twitchy. Now I have to fiddle with the app for a few minutes every time I turn the phone on after being completely off to get it to work properly but eventually it does work and then it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Thank you.
