Blank Screen
How can this app benefit to me?If you are like us, we are using a device with AMOLED screen, and we know that AMOLED screen suffer from burn in and will take a lot of battery when displaying colorful stuff, that's sad, isn't it? especially if you only want to standby waiting for whatsapp message. Isn't it great if there is an app to prevent that from happening?
I've seen a lot of similar apps...Maybe you have seen similar apps, but here is why you should choose Blank Screen:

Known limitation:
- There is still some light on AMOLED device even if the screen is all black (you can see that on a very dark room), we can do nothing about it.
Is my lovely phone compatible with this app?
- Blank Screen is compatible from the old android 2.2 devices (such as Galaxy Mini) to the newest 4.4.x kitkat, so don't worry. We already tested it. :)
But my internal memory is full....
- Blank Screen will always install on sdcard, don't worry :)

It's straightforward and produces a blank full screen. But, can you add setup swipe controls for brightness adjustment and others, like contrast, etc maybe? This would turn this app into a light bleeding tester, please give us this. For what? So it can be much more useful ;D Thank you!
Works great on my Galaxy S4. Would be perfect if u can choose an image other than just a blank screen.
My screen is about to go out and because i have to push my power button in between 25 and 60 times to turn the screen on.. this helps by it not locking my phone and letting the screen semi sleep and can turn it on when i need it.. THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT APPLICATION.
I get "Unfortunately blank screen has stopped" error as soon as I start the app. Android 4.0.4
Other apps offer black lights, but this is better for me, real soft! Thank you.

I am not switching to other app because the idea of using my volume control is pointless. The reason I like this one is to avoid using any hard controls and I only have to use one soft key.

Thanks for this app, it saves me from having to unlock the device with a pin code every time. Could you add a setting to prevent it responding to touch please?
It does nothing and that's what I needed. My android recently started acting up by not allowing me to turn off the screen. This helps!

Just crashes every time it is opened.
I had high hopes of being able to blank my screen and also to only lock my device when I want it locked. Not sure if not locking the device is the reason for the battery drain, but using this app will cause me to lose battery life far too quickly. My device is encrypted and the password requirement is strong (no pattern allowed) ... if I could blank the screen and still go into low power mode [as if the phone was locked, but without actually locking the phone], then I would be happy. The experience is the same on my i9300 (S3) and my i9505 (S4 4G) devices.
