Blast: Gamer's Savings Account

I have had the app since it released. Went from glacier water, to tepid tap water. Originally the incentives were plentiful, paid out well and even made it competitive. Now, there is almost zero options to make money unless you play one of four games. There has not been any update in ages and the app does not work to display updates or notifications properly. However with that said. It's a good interest rate compared to most banks, but they took away the controls we had to fine tune how much.

Was 5 star, dropped to 1. Idea was good for saving money and getting interest back. But they keep having the same error message every time I log in saying I 'changed my bank and had to reauthorize it' over and over so all the money I 'saved' would disappear and I could never reach the goal. I've gone through all the steps to get it 'fixed'. Only to have the same error pop right back up. Edit: uninstalled the app. It hasn't worked for me since the last big update. Trash. Not worth the stress.

This is a very great app to gain micromoney and save it up. The only problem I have with is that whenever you go up a tier, you lose it the next day. Last time I was at tier 4, stopped playing for a couple of days, and went down to tier 7. This is very annoying especially when you play all the missions to get back to that tier level and then lose it the next day. Please fix this, but other than that it's great.

I didn't expect this to be a way to make a ton of money, but I've been really frustrated by the platform, and by customer service inadequacy. first of all, there is no tier pay out. Second, about 80% of the missions I've accomplished don't get recognized. when this is brought to the attention of customer service, they ask for screen shots, which aren't always possible. If they do validate that you're owed >$1, it takes "months" to fix. It's fine to be cheap, misleading is different. Not happy.

Met the requirements to earn $1, but the app didn't recognize it. I reached out to the service team, and sent them the proof I had earned the dollar, and they said there was a bug in the system, but they would manually add it to my account...it was going to take a few months for it to go through since they were bringing a new payment system online. Seems super sketchy to me.

Great way to find some cool games, and make a few extra bucks while doing so. Blast can connect to your bank and earn interest on money transferred in, or simply cash out to Paypal. Transfers are a little slow, but it's fun otherwise. The only downside I find is although they advertised giving 2% APY, I'd say instead that it's 1.5% as a base, and the extra .5% is supposed to come from gaming interest. So if you're inactive and only using it for a savings account, there's a slight loss.

My suggestion would be to add the feature of being paypal compatible, because unless you have a bank account and are willing to give that information freely, this app is useless. I prefer the set tasks they have rather than time spent, as the time spent tends not to register, but I made my first $10, than realized I couldn't use it, so uninstalled rather than use effort. However, if you were able to transfer the funds to paypal, I would reinstall.

This app is awesome. All the negative reviews are from people who don't realize it is a SAVINGS account and it is meant to save your OWN money while earning interest from playing games. You can withdraw your money at any time and you can turn off the time triggers at any time. The mission dividends are free money bonuses and I've actually discovered many awesome games that I wouldn't have found otherwise because of this app. Overall it's an awesome app for saving your own money and earning bonuses along the way.

I loved this app at first. But now I have a mission that won't finish. I've contacted support but after I sent the proof that my mission was completed and my version is up to date, I never received anything back. I've sent two more emails along with it. I've received nothing in return. I've also tried sending a problem from the app, but it keeps saying "Failed to send message". Not helpful at all. I'm becoming angry and frustrated Edit: So I finally received a response.. But it seems like it's going to take a few months to get my credit. That's stupid. I'm glad I'm finally getting credit, but I really wish it would've gone through last week.. :/

great. That was great in 2019. Now, not so much! I used to actually make money and it was super simple. Just play game for as long they tell you to and your paid. Yes you had to play a bit in order to earn but it was an actual amount you could do something with and within a month you would have $20 or so. NOW! Not even close. Not worth my time anymore.

Triggers were one of the best features of this app, now that they are gone the Leaderboard is useless as well. Bring back Triggers and change back the Leaderboard so you can earn exp outside of Missions. Or fix Missions so that already completed missions stop populating. Otherwise, this was a 5-Star app. I will say that the support team is amazing, always been extremely fast responses and helpful. Still love the app.

Well it was fun while it lasted.. However it was always only a matter of time until they stopped being able to payout. Have used the app since the start of 2019, earned solid money. Back then you could earn 1000 for getting tier 1. They have lowered until recently where they are disabling the leaderboards altogether, so the original appeal of earning money while playing games, will no longer be there. Having said that, it was a good run.

It's not bad, but it's not the best. I've actually had the app for about a year now. It wasn't much, but I was earning a little something while it was competitive. Now with the Game Based Savings and Plasma, it's become a lot harder to earn anything. On the upside, the goal tracker is a nice touch. Now if they were to make a debit card feature my star rating would be a lot higher than it is now. Either that or maybe a way to gain revenue from playing the video games of my choice.

First thing's first this app is meant to be used as a SAVINGS account, not a free money machine. I have mixed feelings about the app. The old mission system was great for trying new games and earning money along the way. After the changes to plasma, (which still has value, just significantly less than the old cash missions) I did find myself enjoying playing the supported games that I already knew I enjoyed, but also feel that the discovery aspect has been lost. Some missions are also buggy.

Update 2: No games in over 2 months. Update: Looks like leaderboard is back to weekly. Hadn't noticed until now, cuz I only get about 1 game a month. And they are usually too large or incompatible with my phone. Original review: Pretty cool that you can earn free money (plus interest) for playing free games. They recently changed to a daily leaderboard from weekly. It's impossible to move up tiers in one day when there haven't been any games available for several weeks.

I used to love this app, but it's been so long since I've had a mobile game mission, which was the original point of the app. I don't play any of the three PC games they have on there either, and couldn't even if I wanted to. I miss the mobile games-based missions and since those have become nonexistent, the app has gone downhill, which is why I've changed my rating.

This app seems nice, but there are a handfull of issues with the app right now. First one being that everytime a user enters the and uses it for a period of time it will have a set xp amount but go back in later it will be higher or lower depending if triggers are on. Then there is clear under standing of when the money a person earns will be ready to transfer to a bank account. This also doesnt mean that the devs just let a little out at a time, it should be that what i have earned is what i am able to transfer into my account. This is the only reason people would download this app and sit through all the ads and play the other games for a short period of time. There is also the issue of reporting an issue seems to no longer function as intended. Please fix these problems thank you.

Pointless. I can't enable any of the time triggers on my games and I've played one for an hour after getting this app. Basically turned into a way to see how long I play each game. (By the way, if your robots tell me that this is all a mistake and say, "You must be doing something wrong! Try changing your device settings and giving us your credit card number!" then I WILL LOSE MY MIND!) Slight disclaimer: that was not an actual quote.

Changed it from a 5 star to a 1 star because in the beginning, it was great. New games new objectives, get paid. Now it's just on the same few games listed feom 2 years ago. I would like to see the old format back, especially with new games every week or so, like when it first launched

Hate the app. It has never let me cash out anything besides a dollar or two. It says I can like $70, 80 or $100 and something but when I try to cash out it always says available balance is 0.00 I don't know what's going on but I don't like it. About to delete the app. It's a waste of time.EDIT: app still don't let you cash out. I've saved hundreds and thay just keep taking it from me. I can never cash out. Do not download this app. It's a waste of time.

I like that this app pays you in actual dollars rather than points that you then convert to giftcards. However, I have on several occasions not gotten paid for completing missions. the first time they said this never happens and they would fix it though it could take MONTHS. It then happened THREE MORE TIMES. I dont bother reporting it anymore because by the time I actually get paid, I doubt I'll have the app installed.

The app transfers money from your bank over to them based on how much you play a game, and it describes it as if you are earning money when in reality you lose more because of the fees charged when moving the money back to your bank once you see what is happening. I also turned off this feature in the app, and went back on today to see that it was turned back on somehow. This is a very deceptive app, and I do not reccomend anyone use it. I want my lost money back. This is ridiculous.

App worked ok at first other than some of the games themselves having a few glitches. Good amount of missions but feels impossible to get within the top 4 ranks. Personally liked the set up better with my missions sperate but could adjust to that. Deal breaker is nothing being logged at all anymore though making it a waste of time.

This app is unlike other's I've seen before, the set up of the app allows you to earn money for completing in game tasks along with collecting XP. The more XP you collect the more you can rank up your tier on the Leaderboard and collect the cash prize. All in all I enjoy the function and features the app presents and the way it introduces you to new games while letting you get a couple bucks out of it.

Great app! I cashed out about $45 and received it fully in my bank, though it takes a while you have to give it some time. It's a legit app where you can actually earn money by playing games and accomplishing goals/missions. However, in the beginning you have a bunch of apps to choose from and complete but after a few months it keeps saying there's nothing available at the moment check again later , but no matter how many times I check , I haven't had a new mission in many many MONTHS!

actually not a waste of time like i thought it would be. the gaming and earning money concept is great. and the app overall is straight forward and simple to use. nothing complex and the help center covers pretty much everything you need to know. i recommend this app over others with similar properties.

(Update) I started to receive interest which is great! Sadly you cant play games to make money anymore. The app has become a savings account where you self motivate to save money with game time from your personal accout. I like it but not what im looking for. (Old) interesting and trying it out. says high interest savings account, but i haven't receive any yet...yearly interest or monthly? overall earning the money is pretty painless and some of the games are actually fun/interesting.

I tried to give it another chance but the updated leaderboard sucks. i can never make it past level 9 doing EVEN MORE missions than i used to.I used to get to atleast 6th-5th place on the leaderboard. now its impossible. then they took away triggers....the point was to " save money while playing games" and now thats gone. so there really isnt a point to this app anymore. For all that just put your money in a real savings account. this app is only good to make a couple $ a week. I'm uninstalling.

It's a fun way to save money without even having to make sure you are doing it. Just set your saving amount and go on about your day playing mobile games. Next thing you know it your savings account is full of money along with your earnings from missions. So far I have no complaints. Only thing is i would like new missions as soon as I finish all the ones available. Great App Blast Team!

They DO legitimately pay you. I can confirm that, but you dont always get credit for your missions. I download thru the app, send screen shots, and dont get credit...its happened at least 2-3 times now and the only reason its frustrating is because you spend so much time (sometimes playing sh×t you would never play) to not get credit. They respond to my emails HOWEVER, with no actual resolution. And the leaderboard... well, the truth of whether that is legit, no one will ever know...
