Generally speaking, the app of led lights is specific, it can only keep the original version and there is no way to update it to make the app is compatible with the new version of mobile phones, which are different from electronic products. This is stright from David Matthews at led factory mart. So all of us who bought there headlamps from led factory mart are out of luck to see an update

Well I love the lights but they have not updated there app in so long that I had to dust off my old s3 phone to use the app no matter what I found to help bluetooth issues it wouldn't allow my s21ultra work the light last time app was update was 2018. Everything works great with my s3 thank good I have it but the s21 isn't that new they need to update there app

Never had a problem with them. Never turned on by themselves. Had the lights and app for about a year now. Work amazing. Lots of compliments and I love the app. However yesterday the apps Bluetooth won't connect. Says make sure lights are on when they were. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Maybe it's just having a glitch idk whats going on. I'll try some other things but. Overall they've been amazing.

Have had the app for several years now. Has been working fine, today I try and open the app to turn off my rock lights and the app opens but closes out after a few seconds.

Worked great until the app went down. They need to update, for now my halos are stuck on the last setting. Very frustrating as it looks like this has been a problem for a while from others reviews

Update.....Super easy fix.. If you open your phone settings.. open your APPS.. choose BLU_LIGHT and open it. In the BLU_LIGHT Scroll till you see STORAGE and open it. Choose CLEAR CACHE and CLEAR DATA. After that go back to play store and re install the blu_light app. And it should work again at least it did for me.

Well it worked then now I can't turn them off or on can't change colors and when I try to connect to them it keeps force closing Uninstalled an reinstalled and still the same thing when they did work they would turn on by their self

I'm sorry. This app needs built again from the beginning. It *does* work, but not well. The music feature requires that you have a song saved as MP3 and then import it into the app - so no lights with your streaming music. The app crashes often, including every time I click the "User Guide" option (kinda ironic...), and then it displays an error in Chinese. It's terrible that there isn't a better solution. App developer/s, feel free to contact me for advice on what your users want in an app.

Lights turn on by themselves all the time. Sometimes its in the middle day, but often it's the middle of the night. Then when you try to connect to shut them off, the app either stops trying to connect with no error or you get a connection aborted error. It can take up to 40-50 tries to connect. Maybe it's the hardware and not the app, but this is low quality. I'll be ordering some different lights later today and swapping them out, because these don't work as they should. Waste of money.

Nice app but could use a few changes; ability to save colors for future use, ability to play music from outside apps (ex spotify, amazon music), and flash/pattern function for said preset colors. You can do a single custom color with flash or pattern but it is not saveable for future use. Good app overall does its job but would be nice to have additional features and would even be willing to pay for them

Their lights are useless until their app or phine update is fixed. Sent a message to the seller through Amazon, hopefully the app issue gets resolved soon

I've had several brands of lights controlled by phone or a remote and all turn on by themselves for whatever reason so install a switch... common sense. As far as the app is concerned it works well but it would be nice if it would recognize music already playing in a different app instead of loading songs into it. Most people stream music and I would like to be able to select a plain white light in the custom colors when making color rotations of the custom light area in the scenes section.

Needs update. Stopped working now I can't use my lights :(. Tried clearing data and cache and re-downloading. Nothing.

Works like it should. Does the job. Wish could save color pressets to switch back and forth from, once you find the colors you like. I have my lights hooked up to a switch. Allowing me to use the halos at anytime with or without keys. I just use the app to configure the color and then I disconnect.

When starting up or going into settings I keep getting some Chinese message at bottom of screen, you can only use music when you have songs saved on your phone,when more than 5 ft away from controller it disconnects, can't connect from outside of car, most annoying is that all my LED lights are OPT7 but I have to switch between apps to get settings on my LED set ??? OPT7 has their app but gives a link to this app to control the rocklights ???? Music needs ton of permissions ?

Installed halos on my jeep and worked pretty well until maybe a week or so ago.. seeing a lot of the reviews and having similar issues just won't connect to my phone in order for me to change the color probably end up buying different ones so I can get rid of this app

Email them. Let them know the app is down. If your halos are stuck on the last color and the app is shutting down within 3 seconds.

The app has worked well for some time, but now all of a sudden can't even turn off my lights(had to disconnect them) because the app keeps automatically closing. How are you going to fix this and make this right??

**** OL-blelight **** app should be the new app that replaced this one. It worked for my lights. I was given the info from the person I bought my lights from on Amazon.

Works great when you figure it out. For those complaining about no white, there's the picture icon, then the"colors" icon, then the WHITE icon. Use that one. Don't try to pair this through your phone settings, it won't. Just use the"connect" button in the app.

Horrible! I have owned these headlights for a few weeks now. During that time they have only worked for about a week. Now I cant get the app to connect so my lights just flash red and green. Very frustrating. Waiting to hear back from the seller.

got a set of lights for my 2014 jk and i got the lights from Amazon and lights look good angle eyes look good hope they stand the test of time app is easy to use ! Dont like that when i start my jeep the lights on angle eyes turns on too Im thinking of installing a switch so that i can turn off and on when i want to use the eyes .other then that there ok.I will up date this if they go bad .

Lights had several more colors the first use, literally RBG( red, blue,green.) After that. App is terrible and turns on as it pleases, very odd.... pay the extra money and buy a better kit. Overall 3/5 stars

Junk, keep jumper cables close. These things turn self on randomly for no reason and drain battery. Might be every 12 hours, might be once a month. Its going to leave you stranded.

Works great, not sure what the problem is with other people's experiences. UPDATE : You need to install a switch to turn the module on/off or else your battery will get drained.

I can not get my bluetooth to link with this anymore. it keeps saying my password is wrong when it's never changed. I keep having this issue.

The lights and app work perfectly. The only problem is, I cant use my normal phone which is an Iphone with this app. it wont show up on the app store. if you could make this app work on all mobile devices it would be a huge help
