BLE Scanner

A Great app for scanning nearby BLE Devices and getting the distance . This app really works and it also allows users to get data from any device and in tabular form also. Great job. Easy to use and works fine with lots of Bluetooth devices.😀 The app works great with Bluetooth V4 devices, but when I tried to scan for Bluetooth v2 devices it was not visible, if there is a way to add that feature it would be great.

It works I just wish it'd help you figure out the devices that don't have a manufacturer. Maybe some help with looking up devices with the available information. Not everyone knows what the data is telling them

You have to use it, it is not a lead you to it app but you can see everything around you, used it on the higway and watched cars come close and go by, it works

When writing text to a characteristic, I see the app does not interpret backslash-escaped special characters such as \r \n etc, so I have to write such strings as hex byte arrays instead. Would that be possible to add?

I got the paid version. Needed the advertiser functionality. All I get are errors. Doesn't tell what the error is. Just a error code. Completely useless. Doesn't even tell if I can do anything to fix myself. Never been able to use the BLE advertise functions. Complete waste of money. Scanner does work and that's free.

I’m so happy to have found my fitbit with this app. It’s not particularly user friendly. A more user friendly interface, or at least words that a non-techie could understand on the screens, would be really helpful. Thank you for the app

The radar view does not allow looking for a specific device. I see 20 or 30 btle devices but am only looking for a single device. Should be easy to add that feature. I paid 1.99 to see if better features are available only to discover that was a waste of time and 1.99. Nothing is different in the radar view and app does not allow me to set periphial mode in paid version as implied. I uninstalled immediatly and am waiting now for a better functionality or refund.

Very useful app for developing bluetooth servers. There is a bug, however: long writes (>20bytes) do not seem to be supported but the fragments are just sent one by one as they were many independent short frames. Long reads are, however, supported.

Pulls a bunch of random BT adapters but without giving the device name it's useless. Detects my android phone as a windows device. BT devices MACs seem to change from one scan to the next.

Thank you for this app. I used it find an ear bud I'd dropped in long grass. Moved around with your scanner and monitored the dBm reading until I'd narrowed it down to about 0.5m square area, and eventually found it. Bought your advertiser mode as way of thanks ... No idea what it does though!

Beautiful. I had forgotten that I had shoved my Fitbit in the linen closet under some towels. BLE Scanner guided me easily with increasing and decreasing metres on the display --- right to the closet. I held my phone at the top (1.5 m away), lowered it down until half a metre was detected and pulled out all the towels on that shelf. There it was. I tried 2 other apps and they didn't work. Even after I found my watch, they couldn't detect it with my watch lying on my phone.

Mostly works for what I need if for, but I would prefer a bit more options. Eg there does not seem to be a way to select the passive or active scan advertising payload, so it is unclear to me which one you get in the raw data.

I downloaded this as an effort to find my earbuds before work when I was running late. Not only did it make me 10 minutes late to work (which I was fine with before), it couldn't find my buds. I knew they were nearby since they were connected to my phone, and I even applied their proper name (Blackweb Hphone A003) into the filter, yet somehow this app was only abble to identify bluetooth devices 70ft away or more. In conclusion, this app is wasteful. I don't want to try and fix the issue.

Excellent app it shows where the earbud is located in meters, so we can easily find the spot of the lost but but only when the bud is connected to your phone. Thanks a lot...

Very Useful App, benefits such as easy-to-use and highly organized, all in one app. A really time saving app which enables me to find my lost device just in a single tap.

I wouldn't have found by smart band without this app. It was under a box in the shed, using the distance on the 'radar' part of the app, it led me pretty much right to it.

Love this app as it's the only one I found that displays raw data. It would be great to be able to export all the captured raw data as well as the mac addresses and "seen" times.

This helped me find my mi band 5 within minutes that was lost in the house. The distance approximation is so accurate

Why does this thing need sdcard access? If this is for my Bluetooth then it shouldn't need storage access.

I found my wearable fitness band using this application. Application is user friendly for non technical person also. It was easy to access and very useful. Thanks for developing such a useful application BLE Scanner team.
