Can't even get past the permissions. Tried to test it out as the premise sounds amazing. But it with go past the permissions despite allowing. It just kept showing what should be allowed. 🤷🏾♀️ **Update** Seems to finally work after my OS update. Don't know what the issue was before. Pretty cool though. Like the categories, the themes and colors. I've played around with it myself and a couple friends. Hope to use it at a virtual gathering soon.
I played this during Wintergedon. It was great. The recording feature worked and bought us some great laughs. One thing I would love to have added involves the music categories. In finish the line, could you add the name of the song to the top of the screen. It's hard for the people to give clues if THEY have no idea what the song is
Fun game and great categories. Updated 11/2/21. I can no longer access the unlimited version even though I pay monthly. I can only assume it's due to the price increased to $4.99 and my original price was $2.99. If that's the case, I should've been grandfathered in at the $2.99 or they should've stopped taking the monthly $2.99 out my account.
Kept getting a msg to pay $4.99 for full access but not able to play. I got a subscription for "Unlimited Play" for $2.99 originally, then bought "Full Access" for $4.99 but I wasn't able to access any of the Premium games. I removed the $2.99 "Unlimited Play" subscription and to my surprise the $4.99 pop up at the top of the screen changed to $2.99 "Unlimited Play". The app is asking for 2 subscriptions for the same thing and not allowing access to the Premium games. No fix from customer supp.
Super fun games!! Just wish the directions to play were a little more detailed. On some games there is only a short intro for the theme of the game, but no instructions on what to actually do. But overall, it is absolutely worth the subscription!!!
Downloeaded for a second time because it kept force shutting down the first time around. Seen another ad, so I downloaded to try again. Same issue. I clicked the icon to open the app, and it immediately shut itself back down without actually doing anything. Don't waste your time.
It would be so much fun if it didn't crash after every single game, I never get to see the video playback. I've actually bought categories and they won't open up. If I spent 2.99 a month I would hope it wouldn't crash so much.... Disappointed FINALLY GAVE UP, UNINSTALLING, A WASTE OF MONEY SPENT....
A lot of time wasted trying to get it to record a correct/wrong answer vs the screen just spinning. I also expected the content to be more specific to the culture. The TOPICS are, but the content within them isn't. Once we began the game, it became very apparent that the developers are of mixed ethnicity and/or non-black people had a hand in creating the content. LOL For what we got, we really could've just kept playing "Heads Up". 🤷🏾♀️
I want to give it 5 stars because it is such a great game and I love it but it constantly crashes. I can't get through a night of playing with out it crashing 8 times and that's the actual number of how many times it crashed and I paid for the subscription. Please fix
Its actually so much fun to play. Really makes me do a knowledge check. Totally worth paying for and it has so many different topics. Would rate it more but the game freezes a lot so I have to exit out all the time to play a round then it'll freeze again.
It's a very fun game. It just keeps freezing over and over again. Just throws a wrench in the fun. Hope they eventually fix this. Looks like this has been an issue for sometime now.
Yoooooooooo❤. This is an excellent game, all I can say is thank you. So many categories. I have gladly payed for the subscription. The content you get is incredible and seems endless. It's so much fun, and the ability to capture it with sound and or video is priceless. It's just an incredibly fun game that also forces you to reminisce. Great game built around black culture through and through. Beautiful!
This app glitches really bad. Its fun to play but it rotates the screen a lot instead of moving for correct/wrong. Hopefully there will be an update to fix. I hope in the future on the name the lyrics section it'll tell you what song the lyrics went to.
EDIT: Tried playing over the holiday only to find that the recording feature is gone and the game freezes so much that I will be cancelling my subscription. I love the concept and if the app improves I will come back but for now I can't pay for this. Original: 08/2020 I absolutely LOVE this game. 🧡🧡🧡🧡 The recording feature makes it the best game I've ever paid for that makes me feel like I should cough up some more coin!! Played for the first time with my kids and them trying to describe Black momma phrases came to easy because it was ALL me!!! Love the relevance to the culture!! I paid for unlimited access and was not able to access it. Error message said contact Blebrity CS through email I contacted them and they said contact Google Play App CS I contacted them they said contact Blebrity. Now no one is returning my emails. Very upsetting bcuz I enjoy the game but this is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I would give zero stars if I could for customer service. All I asked was for someone to help me access the content u paid for and yes I have uninstalled too.
I'm happy to be able to have a game that me and my family can play and relate to. It would be better if the glitches were worked out. It gets stuck sometimes when flipping the phone up or down and wont go to the next clue. I paid for the subscription so I would love to be able to at least play a full game.
Fun game but having to pay $3 each month is quite expensive especially if you don't always play it. Would have preferred to pay once then go from there. The also freezes up which outs a damper on the fun.
It's a fun game, but it was freezing a lot, and it was skipping some guesses that we didn't skip. I had to let my phone down a certain way in order for it to not freeze.
Paid for unlimited, only have access to free cards. Please help! Also - more options for young kids would be great. The animal game is all they can play and even that isn't great.
Amazing app. I have so much fun with my friends and family. I never plan to stop using it. This is for the culture. I will say it freezes often and it gets annoying so if you could fix that I would give this 5 stars.
This game keeps freezing up, when you tilt the phone down we were getting two messages wrong and correct, and after we answer two questions and it will go back to the main screen.
Won't load on Galaxy S20. It says get ready, 3 and then goes vack to main menu. It already has camera, audio, and storage permissions. Deleting by the end of the week if it keeps this up
crashes like crazy, sucks that you buy the game and then have to buy category packs. i would have liked to know that beforehand but it's even more insulting since the game crashes after every round.
I like the concept and I want to like it and support it.. but just like the other reviews it freezes up during the game I like the categories.. definitely not going to see them in that other version
Dope Game Up to date with the times Definitely subscribed No problems. being able to record the round is extremely Fresh and helps capture some great moment Hope you keep updating that's the only way for this to get better
This game wouldn't restore my purchases. I bought quite a few extra catagories a few months ago and when I went to play with the fam on Thanksgiving, none were there. Then, I pressed restore purchases, it said there are no purchases to restore. I want my money back
I give it a 3 because it's a game for us ✊1st off. 2nd, it keep force stopping and I paid for the subscription. I feel like I wasted my money. My family and I have game night every Friday and the glitches was very disappointing..
Will pay once bugs fixed. The app is constantly freezing mid game. Love the concept, love heads up original, and will be back for this Black app once updates fix freezing issues.
Fun game with the family. Only issue is when I record the game once we play back the video it keeps playing after the video is closed.
The game itself is super fun! I've had it since it became available on android and it always worked well. I had no problems paying $1 to add categories. Not sure what has occurred between then and now, but now the app crashes, it says the answer is correct but counts it as wrong, and it doubles up sometimes! It is also missing questions/answers or not showing answers that were given. Please update and fix these bugs so I can enjoy the game again! Threw off the vibe our ugly sweater party
