I always wondered if there can be a chat application which runs on a protocol which doesnt require a server to pass messages. This means that no one else except the two can tamper with message. And guess what here we are. The only wonder of decentralized server system.
Cool app. Works fairly well, just be prepared to have your data usage increase. It seems that your phone is part of the bleep network and data is transfered via your phone to others. I could be wrong, but that has been my experience with the app
Great app. I'm all for zero knowledge and e2e apps. My wife and kids can chat to each other and me without even having email accounts linked to this. Fully anonymous with end to end encryption. Take that stupid NSA and analytics trackers!
Works OK but unless you add personal info like a phone or email address no one can add you. The long press on your public key to copy didn't work.
Would be great if you could actually hear the other person when making a phone call. Lmao.
Awesome Concept and Super Secure. Simple Working and Should remain Simple till the end! Just Improve the UI on Android and Add Animations just like IOS. Rest Bleep has potential to be the next generation Messaging Platform.
This is a great app, very secure. When you copy your public key it does work it just doesn't tell you that its been copied, but rest assured it will paste when you go to paste it.
Great apps. Developer should add lock apps.. like the one on Line
Excellent please fix the copy/paste bug on the account id
woest app. doesn't send messages at time you send them
Amazing!!!! It's the only chat app that respects and protects your right for privacy. Whisper mode is just wonderful!!!
Why for good sake I can only send images, why? Why not anything I desire to send? And where are chats with multiple people?
Im on the other perso is on but we appear offline to each other and messages take ages to arrive or send
the interface looks outdated
I understand that bleep is an end to end messaging app but even if both communicating devices are logged in, the msg arn' t delivered on time. Seems u have stopped evolving the app. The key copy function is working fine. Just try to paste the key somewhere after long pressing it. It wont be giving copy confirmation.
Pretty great, allows me to pass more sensitive information to my family members while on the go without worrying that it'll be intercepted or read by someone I don't want to have that information. The only issue is that the whisper messages are actually a lot *more* ephemeral than I'd like--I wish they lasted like, five minutes, instead of being cleared only some 15 seconds after receipt. That way when I'm doing something like sending information to my fiance to fill out some form that requires sensitive info, I don't have to keep sending it over and over so she can confirm she copied it down correctly. Otherwise, wonderful, and fills my niche need pretty much exactly.
The app says to "Long-press on the key to copy it.", but long presses seem to be disabled within the app (works just fine in other apps), so it's impossible to send anyone my key... which makes Bleep pretty bleeping useless.
Bleep is closed source, therefore it should be presumed it spies on you. I won't use Bleep, and don't recommend it to anybody. Only open source messengers can be trusted. Use Tox messenger, and its Antox Android app. They are open source, serverless, truly secure. There is no central server that will see and log your conversations. Do not use Bleep!
It keeps telling me network error when m trying to add my number in the profile even when I am connect to the Internet.
Its a great app but plz u need to fix the voice call and need to add in the settings a display and pop-up option
Keeps giving me a no connection error although I'm connected to the internet and everything else on my phone is working. I don't know why. Please fix this quickly.
Messages are coming too late please fix it it's the only problem
Without using it actively it consumed a lot of my mobile data
Very good application. But too high battery usage.
Try and and you'll love it
Good but always hanging the app
It says, Network error!
I don´t use this app very much, but the data consumption is very high compared to other messaging apps
Its a bit slow to transceive at first. I guess it has to learn where you are. If it has all the security claimed, it's a welcome break from corporate personal data gathering.
this is by far the safest way to communicate. most applications on this level of secure communications are either safe or easy to use, rarely both. With each update this one gets closer to that holy Grail of form and function where it is both easy to use, secure, and light weight. I've used this app since it's inception, and at first it wasn't that reliable or some to setup. part of that was having to get use to this new concept of no registration and no account to log in to. but so worth it. this is the future and it gives hope to an even brighter one. so bright that my only constructive criticism is the main gui could use an option to change the color or wallpaper from something other than blinding white.
