Blendle is just a great concept.
Since Blendle has been bought and the founder left you only get half the audio news items that you got before with a 100€ premium subscription. More technical problems and a lot more tabloit news items and less serious news items. After being a satisfied Blendle user from the start, I discontinued my premium subscription and uninstalled the app.
In-app almost always fails to load an article I click through to read. Even with a strong WiFi connection, I scroll down and get a pink book endless turning pages. Have to go through a back door by going to the newsletter and click using my Internet browser. When will this be fixed?
The service is great, but not the app. Crashes regularly, starts talking at unwanted times and is really bad at switching between audio and reading. Be sure to turn off notifications.
I find that Blendle gives me a very good overview of the articles I would care to read. I miss the opportunity to react on articles that are misinformed or draw conclusions that are not in line with the data..
Why is it not possible to sort articles per category? Let say I want to see all the articles concerning national economy, in stead of looking through all the different newspapers, it would be cool to just click on 'economy' and see all the best stuff. I believe now you only see one article in specific topics you have chosen to follow
Great way to keep up with the news because of the spoken articles. Very content that it offers a nice mix of news and background stories as well as articles that go beyond the common 'bubble'.
Have been a user for years. Great way to get the news articles from a broad selection of papers & magazines, without the expensive subscriptions, for a very palatable fee.
contact from the app is broken, and all of a sudden I can't open articles anymore without paying credits? even though they were in my daily selection 2 weeks ago? I hope this changes.
Log in with facebook goes round in an infinite loop. And your web pages show up in wrong language for me, german in this case. From twitter links. To answer your question already did and no help.
Nice designed app. But don't like the bubble it creates when you're only able to read the curators choises for most (newspapers) articles.
I used the app to have a view on broader opinions, now it seems too focused on my previous reading. Update: changed to premium only. This is too expensive for me.
i can read the article that i like without paying for the whole newspaper! how many times did we buy a 10$ newspaper and read only one page??
I used to like Blendle a lot, now that it's premium-only it has lost its convenience to me. Deciding what to read and when was thé reason to go with this app.
The app is all but ruined at this point. Too bad.
Since a few weeks the app performs poorly on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Scrolling through my articles list goes very slow and choppy at times. Update: solved
Content often doesn't load. Looking at empty screen even after few reloads.
When clicking a sound article another article is played. Fix it because app idea is very nice.
Definitely not interested in per-article pricing. I'd rather pay a fixed amount and read all I want. Maybe this model doesn't just work for me

You cannot try the app without an account. Utterly useless.

The app runs well and I enjoy the content. My complaint is with the options present when selecting a word. Why is the default long press menu gone? Copy, share, select all? Where is the more options icon? Half of the utility of this app for me is being able to read media in foreign languages and this removes the ability to quickly look up words. Ridiculous and unnecessary.
