What a stupid app! The contact us button doesn't work, my work email doesn't get recognized as a work email, password cannot be reset and whatnot! This so called "professional" app is highly unprofessional. The product team behind this app seems idiot and needs tons of learning about UI/UX, let alone how business runs.
Good concept, and I understand the importance of work email. However, my job provided email is locked to only trusted senders. Therefore I cannot receive the confirmation email, and cannot participate. Other forms of verification should be developed. Would drastically open up the platform to other users in similar situations.
Edit: Thanks for listening Blind Team!! Would love to see notification groups implemented. I only want to be notified when a thread I'm following has updates, instead I have to turn notifications off completely so I don't get spammed for things I don't care about.
Only reason I installed this app is - you still can't DM anyone on the website. Even after more than a year! And turns out the app won't run on rooted device.
Blind is so insightful and informative with great polling features. I can't recommend it more.
Whether you want insight, advice, or a good laugh this is the app for you. May also cause depression if you are not a high earner. This app can significantly increase your tc though.
Notification link not exactly taking to the notified text details. Update: Looks like this is now fixed.
App gets stuck in a password reset loop even though I provided an email that already has an associated account. Had to uninstall.
Ads with white background are blinding in dark mode. Text density is too sparse. No way to subscribe to thread notifications unless you reply to it. No way to search for @company. Clicking on a company then pulse score has no way to navigate back to the company. Clicking on a company overview opens in a browser instead of the app. No dedicated Blind topic to discuss Blind. No way to filter replies/comments by company. Especially relevant when someone is asking a company something. Good community

I have provided my work email and verified it but I am still not able to use the full features!
Would love to use more, but can't finish job review. I spend time writing a review only to have the app reinitialize and lose everything when I select "job title". I can't read anything in more detail without leaving a job review but it's not working.
Can't search your own DM chat threads. Can't reset your password, in case you forget it. Attaching files/images to posts is hacky.
Verified my work email id more than 3 times but it still says to verify it again. When you try reaching out to help on contact us, it says share failed.
Had to disable notifications because they ignore my settings and keep pushing articles.
Messaging feature could be a lot better. Nevertheless serves the purpose
I cant open this app on my Samsung galaxy note 20. It terminates with a security error.
Please provide alternatives to adding a work email, I don't want to dox myself. Would appreciate atleast being able to read polls with the non work email account.

Great community, one annoying bug when opening a notification where you're sent to the wrong thread. Repro steps: 1. Open the Blind app normally 2. Open a random thread (let's call it thread A) 3. Wait to receive a notification for a thread (let's call this thread B) 4. Open the notification. Instead of seeing thread B, you will see thread A. You can reach thread A by pressing the back button one time, but this is very annoying.
Hey devs, The app quits everytime on opening it with this error. "[7002] threat has been detected. App will be terminated" Any clue why this is? E: thanks for the response! Updated review and been using web version for now
I get the following error when starting app. LIAPP Alert recieved. 7002 threat has been detected. App has been terminated. App used to work fine few months ago.
My 4 stars is just based on overall goal of the app not the functionality of the actual app itself which I would say is about 2.5 stars (with a lot more to be desired). The reason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars for the overall goal is because there is a lot of non career related junk on there. That needs to flagged, removed or at least at minimum provide the ability for the user to filter out. Keep up the great work. Open communication about TC and growth are very important to all us.
