1. Internet connection is not required, completely offline recognition. 2. Voice, sound, and visual alerts. 3. Quick access to some application settings, straight from the main window:
- Tap on the "Information Panel" to open the application settings dialog;
- Long tap on the "Information Panel" to enable / disable "Higher Accuracy Scanning";
- Tap on the "main area" to focus camera;
- Long tap on the "main area" to enable / disable the flash. 4. The basic application package includes only US dollars and Euros support. Other currencies can be added as separate modules (plug-ins). 5. Constantly expanding geographic coverage. We are happy to add new currencies, improve and update existing ones. 6. All currency modules are tested by volunteers from the respective countries. 7. Interface languages: Russian, English, Arabic, Bulgarian, German, Spanish, Persian, Croatian, Hungarian, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Slovenian, Serbian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese.
Tip: To avoid recognition errors show Blind-Droid Wallet both sides of the bill. Make sure it says the same values.
Attention: Blind-Droid Wallet does not distinguish counterfeit banknotes from authentic ones, so

Recognizes currency great but gets stuck on one bill and will not stop pronouncing denomination until app is exited. Next time works maybe for 2 or 3 bills. Next time gets stuck forever again. Worthless to blind if they must exit and restart for each bill.
Pretty good accuracy once you get used to placing the bill at the right distance in the right lighting. Very easy to use.
Useless app for USA $. For those with limited vision, the font size used to show the bill value is smaller than the bill's number so why bother... Don't know who's giving all these high ratings.

Cool in theory, but not in practice. The app read the money in a font so much smaller than the bill I was looking at I couldn't see what it said and it didn't have an audio read out, which would make more sense. Even more concerning was that it didn't read the bills properly. All the US money read higher than what it was. $1 was $5 for example.
Unfortunately, moroccan dirham is not included. I hope it will be added in the next update
Its good app but it does not identify Pakistani currency even by installing pak currency module please fix it.
This should be in the "essentials" catagory. It really is a wonderful app.

The print that tell what denomination is so tiny. There's no point having it. It doesn't verbalize what you scanned,

Worked reasonably well the first day. The next day it read everything as 10 euro, no matter the light condition, flash on/off. I thought this would be great for visually impaired people, but who wants to give away a €50 when the app tells you it's €10
More up to date than ideal currency identifier. I like that it tells you the side of the bill that is facing up. My local laundry card machine is picky about how the bill faces. Normally you just flip it over. But let's say you srop it. This app might save you from having to turn it over and even pick it up multiple times.
