Waited almost 5 hours and paid nearly 600$ for a tow truck that was suppose to arrive in 90 minutes. All because a rep made a simple mistake of messing up my phone number and Blink has no other way to look up information. Really? cant make it so you can look up by name, car, ect?
Perfect. The pricing is upfront and honest. People who complain about wait times need to bring it up with the vendors themselves - which Blink provides contact info to. This is a dispatch service, and dispatch they do perfectly well and honestly.
Will never use it again. Waited more than 1.5 hours for a tow truck to arrive, way over the original ETA given.
I have used this twice now and the service was fast and efficient. The only thing I will note is the 2nd time I used it the communication lagged (in other words I was already on my way home and i received a call stating my service should have arrived by now). Nonetheless, I will definitely use it again and refer to others.
Please understand that while this app seems cool and useful you would be better served by opening your Google maps app, searching the single word which describes your need (towing, jump) and then calling literally the first ad that comes up. They collect your money before dispatching a driver to you, so that when you wait 4.5 hours for service there is absolutely no possibility of you switching to someone who will be there sooner. It's the worst of the worst of the app economy - least common denominator.
The technician was very good very professional and he got the job done very fast highly recommended so I could give 10 Stars I would thank you
I blew a CV joint in my car and was calling around for tow trucks. Everyone I called was atleast 3 hours out and wanted between $85 & $100 to hook up. Then I came across this app. $69 and 20 min. later and I was being hooked up. Definitely a keeper on my phone. I highly recommend this to everyone. You never know when car problems are going to hit.
This is an intuitive and fast service that will not gouge your wallet. Most services are only $39
Had a flat in the snow. My tools were insufficient for the fix. Payed $39 and got it done for me.
oops I left the light on in the trunk. I don't have her outside service on my insurance thanks insurance. So I thought since it in the garage and I don't need to go anywhere can I save money? Yes you can. The young man with here very quickly with one of those portable battery jumpers. The offer to wait until full power. He told me where to look on my inside door for correct tire pressure and that Wawa has free air for your tires their stores. Awesome I love a free tip and helpful person. Plus they take Amx
Reliable and cheap!
I have attempted to use them several times and not once have they ever come through for me. Upon booking they deduct a small pre-authorization charge. The problem is when they never show up and then proceed to charge the FULL PRICE of the service. Said my bank will need to refund me the money. Avoid them, their customer service might be decent but their policies are shady and frankly stupid. I took down a negative review for them before because they assured me that my experience previously would not be repeated. That was false, so this one stays. Think twice before using them and just pay the extra money elsewhere for reliability.
My vehicle was stuck in the mud. All other companies wanted over 200 plus. They charged half the price and the tow company was very professional. Will be using this service in the near future.
between a 20% and 50% mark up from what it actually costs for any service they dispatch and at least one more person between u and the guy who will do the job. passing info down a chain of people and slow unreliable technology, means that by the time it gets to the guy doing the job it probably wont be the right info. look at the reveiws for roadside connect which is the app on the other end of the chain from this app in alaska call your own tow truck for a from the horses mouth eta and price
