BlinkID - ID card and passport scanner

Scanning feature is absolutely terrible. As soon as anything remotely resembling a card occupies part of the frame it snaps the picture. It doesn't matter if it's properly framed or even in focus.

Awesome app to store your family's ID documents. The NFC is not working for now. Hopefully will be fixed soon.

A fantastic free app. Thing is I hit a problem on one of my scans when I found that it had misread my post code. It read a "Q" as a "O". I couldn't find an edit function so ended up scanning the card 7 times before it read it correctly. Is there an edit function that I can't find?

Its very useful thank you very much. It will be better this app if can be export text data to csv file.

so far this app is pretty awesome, I hope it stays available even after they are done with research and testing. It lets me share the scan so I can send it to myself for records keeping. I wouldn't mind if there was also an option to ONLY scan barcode instead of having to take a picture of the front first, but I understand that their purpose for this app is to improve their text from image software so they need the picture. Please keep this app available forever, I would even pay a one time fee.

This is a good app, very useful. My suggestion: When the app is launched, the startup mode should be the "ID Wallet" and not the scanner. Most of the time, it's the wallet one would want to open - we don't scan everyday. Although one could drag and drop the "ID Wallet" menu icon to the homepage to achieve this function, it is not intuitive. Most users want to launch the app and see what they want to see most often - their ID wallet.

Pretty cool, I like the detail of it. However, I believe this would be better if the scans could be saved in app until deleted or purged by default after 30 days. It would help speed certain processes up depending on the line of work your in.

Good but users be careful not to have another d.l too close when scanning another because I accidentally scanned the front of my friends d.l and it picked up the back of mine so the results showed her picture with my information again this was my mistake because I had just previously scanned my own ID and hadn't moved it far enough out of the way before I was attempting to scan hers so the front of hers was successful but when I went to scan the back both of ours was in too close of a proximity

Scanner need to be more accurate especially with barcode spend an hour trying to get i got nothing!

This app does what it is supposed to, and does a beautiful job at that. It is fast, accurate, and the information is presented in a clear and concise manner... Plus, the data can easily be shared to other apps (or people). Great job, Devs!

Does not work at all for Indonesian ID card, even with excellent quality card and very clear lighting and good camera. Cannot imagine how it can work in less ideal conditions.

Fantastic piece of work. Didn't expect it to work so well. The ability to transfer the scan data to my Google drive was also a great feature

does not do what is expected. other app forcibly "recommends" this app and instead of scanning just the barcode, wants a scan of entire document. please at least remove nag from other barcode app so i can read contents of just the barcode.

Read the data they store on their servers on any ID you scan and immediately deleted. There's no reason for them to store the data at all other than to use it for things you don't want your data used for.

Yesterday (10/7/19) there was an option to scan the back of the ID card but today there is not. Yesterday it would not do anything when I tried to scan the back of the ID. This morning when I scanned the front of the driver's license, it took a picture and that was it. Really?? That's it?? I have a camera on my phone. I can take my own pictures thank you.

If only all Id scanners were as thorough and accurate. Many top of the bracket and most wealthy enterprises in the world aren't even able to be as optimised as this particular technology. It makes me wonder why they sell us short when the best is clearly available. Perhaps over payed infrastructure who is too stubborn to outsource and admit that there is better stuff available than the going inner league work. This is one that will be included if we could ever standardize quality.

Great accuracy, easy to use

Doesn't work, on my device it read the bar code and was able to tell you pertinent information making counterfeits stand out obviously now it just takes sohoti of the Id idk why it's pretending to can now it used to be extremely helpful. Changing the setting doesn't work.

This is by far the best app for ID scanning that I have seen so far, Sent a note via email about integrating the data collected. Thank you and keep up the great work

why there's no option to editing or correcting the text results? because, some of the text field result is either misspelled or wrong.

When using this app, you are agreeing to let them save the scanned information for their use. Who's to say what they will do with it. I personally don't consider it safe. Though if you purchase full app this may not be the case. Read the fine print and beware.

This i app is really amazing highly recommended. The fact that you can scan different types of documents is just amazing.
