Blippar

Tried scanning some stuff. It does need Internet connection, so I assume it's sending those images somewhere for analysis. The only result I'm getting back is something along the lines of "ensure that whatever you're scanning has a Blippat logo on it". ... Man... If it had the logo on it, it'd also have the info I can use to Google it myself!

Waste of time. Don't bother downloading it. I have tried scanning a few differnt things only for the app to do absolutely nothing. I thought at first i wasn't scanning the things long enough so gave it longer each time but it still did nothing. Uninstalling it.

Awful! Just doesn't work. Scan the packet and nothing happens. Tells you product must have the app logo on it. It's on the front of the packet where it tells you scan and still nothing. Think this app is nothing but a data mining scam with all the permissions you have to agree to before it will work.

at first it was good. I would scan my product and it was saved so I was able to go back and not have to scan the same character again. Now nothing is saved and my child can see the characters that have been collected.

Cool concept, but it doesn't work. I tried using Blippar on One Directions Made in the A.M. album, but the second video wouldn't load/play. This is something they need to fix because right the app is completely pointless. I do not recommend this app, at least until further notice. Very disappointed😕😔

Disappointed, I had it over a year on my phone and used to be able to point at anything and get feedback. Now I've tried it after a year or so of it being dormant on my phone and it's turned to utter uselessness. Uninstalled

Ok, so for all those who got the cracker jack product, it does work!!! As far as I was able to get, I was able to play the toss bean bag game. But the baseball mascot game never worked. Hope these steps helps you! 1. Flat surface 2. Enough light (did work with some shade) 3. Hold the phone landscape. 4. Start upclose and move up. 5. It will pause and you should see an augmented load circle. The games should pop up and you can find more games by clicking more games. 6. If it didn't repeat steps!

It's a nice idea, but neither me nor my aunt could get it to scan two different codes. It's an unfortunate circumstance. I uninstalled the app, and I likely won't re-install it in the future, unless the issues are fixed. 🤷🏼‍♀️😦

AR Effect works poorly on a 1 year old mid-range phone. 3D view keeps tilting. Taps on the screen don't always work. Downloaded this for my 5 year old after she saw it on a pop loops box but it was very frustrating for her since the game doesn't respond appropriately.

No. I just want my little paper skull and crossbones tattoo in my Cracker Jacks. I do not want an app that requires me to share personal information to have a "virtual experience". I do that every time I meditate and it's totally free. Take it away!

USELESS AND BUGGED, downloaded to use with dixie cups "sugar bugs" brushing game. its bugged to where its hard to scan the monsters, and when you do, the Molar coins go to 4 then reset to 1, where as the next available brush is openable at 5 coins. Thanks for wasting a week and letting my 5 year old daughter down. Uninstalling this useless app.

Can't get it to load anything at all on my Samsung S6 Edge. Every time I scan or try to load something, it gives me the error 'Unable to launch with internal error'. Uninstalling now.

A loaded all the way and that made me think it was actually going to work but after it finished loading it just said scan again I really thought this idea was interesting and if you can fix it I'll be able to change the review

Useless app. I tried using it for greenlam laminates catalogue which has this icon on every page but doesn't do anything. Doesn't even give you feedback after scanning to let you know if scanning worked or not

It tells you the instructions that's good and then I scan it then nothing happens it is a brilliant idea but it doesn't work, would love to change the review if you do something abouts that.

I downloaded this app to use the games with the Dixie cups. In the instructions says to scan the monsters printed in cups with the app, I tried scan the cups and nothing, it scans but just gets very general things like "cups" " paper" not Dixie Cups interactive monsters or whatever. So frustrated.

The message: "Nothing recognized, only items that display the Blippar logo can be scanned" appears every single time I scan something. And the Blippar logo is never ever displayed on anything at all. 100% scam!

Does absolutely nothing. If you want an app that just shows a circle and pretends to scan items, then this app is for you. I was really wishing I could scan the Dixie cups for my child but that among other items does nothing.

I thought it would be an augmented reality app but it only scanned the product once successfully and just identified it. After many attempts it's not worth keeping on my phone.

rip off doesn't work. i tried multiple times and all it does when I scan it is NOTHING! it just makes me scan again and again. all this app is, is worthless.

Crashes immediately after opening. Seems like a good idea but I can't get it to stay on more than a second before it crashes so I can only give 2 stars.

Maybe I'm too old for this app, but it doesn't do anything but use the camera and have bubbles popping effect. Then it displays something about halos not working. At least it's free.

My 8yo son was looking forward to seeing his 'prize' but the app did nothing. It shows images from the camera, but never adds anything or makes something fun or interesting. We installed from the Cracker Jack prize steps. So disappointing.

Found this in an article about identifying cars. App says it only scans things with Blippar logo. Has the app changed? Earlier reviewers talk about identifying actors, vehicles, etc. But the current app doesn't seem to do anything. Tried Googling for info but no instructions online or in the app.

Bought cracker jacks. Curious. In teresting that you can scanned participanted items that uses this app. Downloaded just fine for my phone samsung 7 after accepting the use of camera n data. Scanned the lil cracker jack sticker i got. Mini games loaded good. Played the little games and then got bored and undownloaded the app. Since i have no need for it.

I had real hopes for this....but it does nothing when you scan things😠... I would not recommend downloading this and wasting your time

Wont work. waste of time. Spends 10 minutes "scanning" to tell me its not recognizable and can only be used for scanning things with the logo. Where do you think I found the name of the app to download? Rubbish.

not too sure. it's not telling me the make or model car from a picture I have and I'm sure that the car is US made and at least 1950s. please help. I got this app in order to accomplish just this task as advertised however, no luck.
