It's simple but convenient. Only downfall is the amount of characters you can type. It's the same as the desktop version but would be nice if you can type more. Also seems to be a minor synching problem in regards to when someone was last on but that doesn't have any bearing on being able to chat. It's easy to navigate and doesn't feel cluttered with bells n whistles. All about getting down to business :)

It's always worked really well in my experience, it's nice being able to access messaging on occasion when want to communicate play times with others. The only issue that I actually experienced myself is the time stamps for when the person had logged on last. It'll show months for people I know were on that day, and show hours or days for people I know haven't been on for a while. Obviously this is not much of a problem at all, definetly doesn't change my actual interaction with app.

It's the worst messaging app that I use. It frequently doesn't display messages that have been received until I leave a chat and go back into it, half the time when I open it I am presented with an error that I'm not logged in, closing and reopening the app makes it go back to normal. I'm on a flag ship device and have excellent 4g/wifi, this has happened consistently for years across devices.

when it works and it's open and it's connected and is not on the background it has no issues, minimizing this app or letting it on the background causes you to not receive any messages nor notifications, your friends won't know if you saw their message or not. raised to THREE stars since at least you can contact your friends at any given time even if you aren't subscribed unlike final fantasy in which you pay extra every month for every single detail.

Great while it works... The app is very convenient for keeping in touch with friends while away from your computer. But in my experience, when it messes up it messes up BIG. I just spent a full day stuck on login screen because "something went wrong." The issue randomly fixed itself which is good, but I am not the only person to have this issue. Apparently the issue has existed since late 2019 and has yet to be fully fixed. However, I love the app aside from this issue so 4 stars. :)

Works well while under active use. But some messages aren't under instant synch and can be sent to you in delay, but as soon as you open up the app it synchs to your desktop chat. Have had a few quality assurance doubts regarding the update of what friends do to what time in a game when viewed on the app. But at least it is shown, so this would get a high rating from me for its use.

Well.. let's say like this; five stars for development and creativity. Three stars for servers and service. To much bugs and stuffs like that. Quite complicated some times. Even more complicated to solve a problem that cames from servers. (And please; do not disconnect us directly from the game for as long as we're playing. Fix this please. It is a MUST!

App is great for setting up times for playing with your friends when you're not at your computer. Interface is smooth and easy to use. Only giving it 4 stars because sometimes itll show that my friends are offline when they're sitting in my lobby. Other than that, excellent app. I think it would be alot better if the authenticator and the WoW companion app were integrated into it. Make it a one stop shop for all things Blizzard.

The app has come along way, my. Main issue is how the app. Is handled as a background process on android having to wait to sign in and then open a chat, makes it slightly less convenient to use. Along with notification handling seeming quite poor when it comes to running in the background. Other than that it is very useful if I'm not near my pc.

It is a very good app, when it works, which is why I have given it 1 star. I've had this app for over a year and it barely ever loads up at all, 90% of the time it gets stuck opening with still loading. I'm not exaggerating when I say that in a year of constant use this app has only worked around 30 times from over a year of use. Download it if you want access to bnet messages and friends etc on the go, but expect it to break 9 times out of 10.

Literally the worst chat app that I ever used and I've been around since the ICQ times. As of 11/10/2018: - app randomly crashes both on iOS and Android - randomly starts "syncing with server", literally never succeeded - goes into "oops, something went wrong, try again later" - doesn't show the new message in the conversation randomly when I tap the floating notification of a new message - randomly forgets to notify about new messages - when the phone gets internet access (after Airplane mode for example) the app pushes 6-8 notifications of the same conversation that has already been read, sometimes it doesn't push a single one - sometimes when I tap the notification of a new message the whole conversation is empty and I just get a "start a new chat with [username]" - sometimes the language filter turns itself back on without asking - looking at the ratings and comments most of these problems have persisted for ages now, Blizzard doesn't seem to care. Avoid it like the plague if you're actually trying to keep contact with someone.

The app is fine when it works, which half of the time it doesn't. More often than not I try to open this app and it says "Oops! Something went wrong" and refuses to actually open. Sometimes it gives me the option to log in after...but that just causes the same pop-up. This happens more often when I am on a low speed connection, which makes me think it's pulling an unnecessary amount of bandwidth just to log in.

Jea. B. Jul 31, 2020

Am on Android 11 Beta. When trying to log in it will say "Oops! Something sent wrong." The entire time today, was fixed and then a week later (today) it came back. I have deleted storage and cache, also have restarted my phone and reinstalled the app. Still the same. Another issue, when I open another app then this app will reopen instead of being on the conversation it was just on. It has to reload instead. I didn't exit the app just switched between them.

It's incredibly unpredictable. All othe communications apps I have give me notifications, open without loading for up to a minute and doesn't tell me I have no internet connection while I'm looking at full bars. Other than that, it does what it should, so I give it a 2 rather than a 1

I'm having issues with this app also. Only one person shows up in my friends list if anything, sometimes none. My chats have also disappeared and it takes forever to load into the app. Reinstalling doesn't fix these issues. Has been going on for weeks/ months and It's increasingly frustrating! PLEASE FIX THIS!

Its very useful and easy to navigate, I enjoy using it... When it works. Very often has problems connecting/staying connected, and today won't log in AT ALL. "Oops! Something went wrong!" If the connection can be made more stable and reliable I'd rate 5*, but it's so unreliable it is inconvenient.

Blizzards always somehow been good with their apps. Every other app I've used has something wrong with it. This app was actually released in its entirety as a fully working app. What I'd recommend would be additional customisation options or personalisation options, maybe even alerts , or calenders. But yeah it'd be hard to over do it, by adding too many features. This app has the right amount of everything ✅️

Overall it's very good and convenient. These past few days however I've been noticing a lot of issues with it. Things not loading. I couldn't change my status from "away" to "online" it just would not let me, I had to log out of my account and sign back in to make it work. As soon as these quality of life issues are fixed I will give the last star. Otherwise it's still very nice to have

I like the mobile app and I have had very little problems with it. If there was one thing that could make it better, I'd say the load times going into messages. A little frustrating, but overall a good app

Oops! Something Went Wrong! Login doesn't work, it gets stuck to "Still Connecting..." And once it fails to connect it does not offer an alternative or a report system. Yes, I redownloaded and it still doesn't work. If they can't make these apps work, what makes you think Diablo will be a mobile hit?

Sim. B. Aug 2, 2020

"Oops! Something went wrong" error won't go away, I've tried reinstalling the app, clearing cache, everything, and the app still won't work. My guess is the interaction between this and the authentication app is messing something up. Regardless, this is a useless app since you can't even log into to your account.

Terrible app. The one major purpose this serves, to facilitate mobile chat with Battle net contact list away from pc, it fails at miserably. 9/10 times the send button glitches out and becomes inaccessible, forcing you to cut/paste your entire message or simply retype it in order to send. I love retyping things 3 times! Keeps my texting skills sharp. In addition to the above exercise in frustration, you'd be lucky to even access the frustration in the first place. The app barely loads ever.

A. G. u. Apr 6, 2020

The app consistently hasnt been working for months. It displays one person on my friends list or no one (although I'm max with the amount of friends I have) and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. Please fix, I know this is an indie company, but if you could spend a little time ensuring your program works that would be appreciated.

A. G. u. Apr 26, 2020

I definitely enjoy using this app to talk to my friends when I am not in game. It is very useful, displays all the information I need to know, allows me to send messages directly and fast and provides an easy to use interface, almost as straight forward as using the options while I am playing any of my favorite Blizzard games!

Suddenly can't log in for several days now. Even uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted my phone and still getting that "oops...something went wrong" message I keep getting. Kinda annoying in all reality as I love being in contact with a few of my btag pals while at work. Its great... when it works.
