Block Blast City

The game overall is really fun. There is a good mix of strategy, relaxed play, and entertainment. The only thing I see wrong with the game is at times you cannot see the level/line you are working on because it has fallen past the visual area but the screen doesn't readjust. so sometimes you're dropping blocks on to an unseen line. I'm not sure if it's by design but it is very frustrating. Overall really good game.

I'm a huge Tetris fan so I thought I'd give this game a try. I'm up to level 68 so far and I really like it. The only issue I'm having is with the energy. The energy bar says you lose energy every level you play, which is understandable, and you get it back when you win. I'm winning and still losing my energy. It's frustrating to be on a winning streak and then be asked to buy energy to keep playing. Even the energy I collect from the left button keeps disappearing despite winning levels.

Cute game overal. Only a few small issues that i've had. In my opinion i think the tutorial should be optional as the game is pretty similiar to tetris. If you already know how to play tetris, in my eyes the tutorial is pointless. My other thing is i wish i could turn the "helpers" off. Other than that no real issues. Will try to keep this updated if i come across something more "serious" such as a bug or glitch

I loved this game and played it everyday until the update!!! Now you can only switch your block 3 times and have to use coins to be able to switch more than that in a level. You also can't see which piece is coming up next anymore. And when you place a block on top of the same colour block, it doesn't break into parts and fall. That only happens if you break a whole line!!! Please put the game back to the way it was before!!!! Until then I am uninstalling and keeping my rating at 2 stars!!!

It's a decent game, but the one thing that almost made me delete it right at the start, the tutorials can't be turned off, they are massively annoying and for someone who suffers with anxiety and ADHD it alomost ended up in a smashed phone. Add an option to turn off the in game tutorial/help with where to put the blocks and what to do, because the game is just an adaptation of tetris and anyone over the age of 2 could work this out themselves without the annoyance of the tutorial bits!

This game started out fun, but as is usual in these games, it got to a point where progressing in the game became absolutely impossible without buying some kind of helper. The newest change was the one that made me delete it. You used to be able to switch your piece for free, every time. Now of course, you have a couple free switches, but most of them, you have to pay for. Don't claim the game is free, when you can't play without spending money on in app purchases. Games like this tick me off.

Am up to level 25 and so far there's a lot of hand holding through the game. I do hate that there's a limit to how many pieces you have a game. It really takes from the creativity of making a massive combo and watching it all crash down. Outside of that I do enjoy this game, good time waster.

I played this game for 2 weeks and loved it. until I went through ALL OF THE LEVELS IN 2 WEEKS. I've been waiting over a month and a half for new levels and also they claim to have "events" coming soon, but after over 2 months of playing and there are no new levels and no "events". It seems like someone came up with a fun idea and then just said "screw it" and gave up on the app. It had the potential to be a really fun and addicting game. but after over a month of waiting for an update, I give up

It's like Dr Mario World, but for Tetris. Great animation and sound. Clearing lines feels really satisfying. Levels focus on puzzle solving. Some randomness in the pieces you get, but it never feels unfair. Powerups are never needed, but feel helpful, and along with energy/lives only being lost if you fail, it makes microtransactions truly optional. Still a few bugs, but nothing truly game-breaking. My only gripe is that I can't go back over previous levels to get a better ranking or experience new content (I've purposefully cleared my data to reset my progress a few times now).

Good game, some new ideas, haven't seen any ads or not that i remember at least. While I appreciate the effort going into the ideas i think the different buddies are introduced too quickly. I am at lvl 70 but find myself more randomly patching lines than using the buddies strategically. Which in turn makes ot more like tetris and boring. Will uninstall but for ideas and over execution and lack of annoying ads 4 stars is fair (3.5 ⭐rounded up 😉)

there are some bad gliches in this game. 1) sometimes it freezes after winning a game and you have to exit and reboot to cont. to play, loosing your won board. 2) sometimes theres floating blocks that arn't really there. but you waste moves trying to get rid of them. 3) sometimes theres blocks that wont drop freezing you to that line even though its not there also wasting moves or forcing you to have to restart 4) sometimes when tryn to drop a piece it gets frozen and won't drop...

Recent update made it so that instead of swapping between two shape options freely as you play you can swap your one piece for a random one 5 times per level. And then once youve inevitably used them all you have to pay coins to do it more. Used to be enjoyably difficult, now just seems random and unfair, designed to make you use coins every level. Guessing it was an attempt to get more in game purchases, but its just a gameplay roadblock that has made me uninstall

So the devs have realised that connecting to Facebook was a waste of time as it didn't sync your progress, so instead of fixing the issue, they removed the feature so you have no way of saving your progress to the cloud. come on devs, sort it out everyone needs a Google account to download the app so just add Google play sync instead, problem solved, worst thing is, they won't even reply this this feedback, prove me wrong please!

I Downloaded this game back in 2018 in May, Sadly I was very disappointed as I got to level 72 and then the game stopped there with no more levels to play so I uninstalled it, imagine my surprise wen I reinstalled it due to advertisement and noticed alot of changes and improvements, I like that the pieces don't fall automatically anymore but I do miss how I used to be able to fit small shapes or blocks in tight spaces, other than that I love the new upgrade 😉

I am connected to the internet & it keeps saying I have no internet connection. My internet says I have an "excellent" connection but the game won't connect. Bummed bcuz I Really Like this game! I looked it up bcuz I Remember liking it so much but just couldn't remember the Name of it!! And I was Really happy about Finding it again! But if I can't play the game proper & I Can't get the "rewards" then it's pointless. Reluctantly uninstalling.

It's different but getting really impossible to get thru the levels and if I dont get passed a level that's hard I will delete it for sure. I get tired of trying to go on to the next level it's gone and I dont know for sure when I will get tired of trying to beat something that is never going to happen but I love the idea of the game cause it's different then most of the games and they need more games that are different like this game.

Game was fun for awhile. Beat all the levels and was playing a few bonus levels a day. Finally got the new update and wow! Terrible. It feels like its almost impossible to 3 star anything now. All the fun has been completely sucked out by this terrible update. Also 90% of the daily rewards i get free play refill even tho theres 9 choices and its supposedly random. Seems fishy to me

Wow is this game ever aestetically pleasing ☺️. Love the graphics & how colorful everything is. Not only is it beautiful to look at but it's also a lot of fun. Plus no ads in the game 😮! If you're as old as I am and remember playing tetris on Gameboy then you'll probably love this! It's not the same as tetris but similar. My only complaint is that I wish it was a lil more challenging. I just downloaded it and am already on lv 21. Please add more levels, I don't want this game to end soon! 😍😍

This game is amazing. I was playing for hours before I realized...no ads! the levels are fun and different. I wasn't even upset when I beat all the available levels because it let's you do bonus levels and I got to keep playing. Great game, thanks for making.

I like the game overall. It's a new twist on Tetris. The only problem I've found is with the animations between levels: I don't think it's a "too much" issue, they just show the game down some for a second or two.

I loved that you were able to see what block was coming next and swap between it and the current block you were given. Now you have no idea what's coming next and you get a limited number of swaps. Not impressed with the change. Otherwise it is/was a fun game.

Love the game but they keep switching how you play, I liked when you could switch you piece back n forth with the next one, also after the update I have to start all over from beginning levels when I'm past level 600 , 3 stars in each chapter, extremely disappointed with the update, totally messed up the game.

Been playing this for a while and I really enjoy it. Nice puzzles that don't get too hard unless your looking to 3 star everything. There have been a few tweaks to the game play, but these changes have not ruined the game for me.

Cool twist on a classic game. Not just about making lines, there is real puzzle solving. Incredibly fun. Great graphics. Superb quality game. Possibly the best of the hundreds I have downloaded.

NOT HAPPY JAN...Why has it gone back to old style. I liked knowing what piece was next. OLD REVIEW BELOW.... Excellent but definitely would be nice to see the bottom of the level. Please hurry with more levels...glad you have got bonus levels to keep us satisfied till new levels come out. Happy...

Block city is a very challenging game!! A wide variety of obstacles keeps me interested. Don't let the game frustrate you when you lose.

It was fun for the first 30 levels or so, but then it would pretty much freeze. The monster buddies would blink, but the blocks wouldn't fall anymore.

Your most recent update has completely changed my play strategy and the dynamic of the game. Aka it sucks. Likely to uninstall now Excellent block game. Some levels are very challenging to achieve 3 stars. My gf can't seem to find it on the App Store for her iPhone.

It Was a great game,I was on level 394 and now have gone back to level 21!! Can't get my game history back, tried everything, I wouldn't bother installing, complete let down, shame though as it was additive, and enjoyed playing it.

I really liked this game but now it's been changed so that same-colour blocks no longer split and fall. This feature was originally part of the tutorial so why it's been changed is a real shame.
