What an amazing app. Since installment in mid march it's blocked a whopping 200k ads and trackers. I just wish it was a bit cheaper to buy the paid version as €48 a year is a bit steep for me to purchase it. And if it was in the region of around half that price then I'd definitely purchase it. Also a lot of people are saying it now takes a lot of battery. TBH I can't see much difference and it is not on my phones list for battery hogging apps. Excellent app Blokada.
This app happens to be pretty useless. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly. the second time I used it, it worked just fine. The third time I used it, it was useless. Despite not working, the app is pretty legit in some way though. But I don't like clearing all the content and ads everywhere. I would like for you to try and fix this maybe?
Most recent update ruined it. It won't block ANY ads. Everything is still going as though I don't have an add blocker even with going into the system and manually selecting what to block. 2 stars instead of 1 because of how good it used to be
It blocks all the ads, sometimes even too much. Well with time and some work, you'll be able to tell it what ti allow and not to allow. It does make my connection a little bit slower, but not very noticeable. Recommended to a few friends. It's really useful. I've been able to set mine to my taste, the only remaining area is to allow Microsoft requests so I can use SharePoint and OneDrive without hitches Update: it has stopped blocking ads in Chrome browser. Any setting I need to do. So annoying
Used to be a very reliable ad-blocker. Sudden massive increase in Data Usage and connectivity issues. I don't know what happened. I used to run Blokada 24/7 to help with some other application's data usage issues by blocking ads, and at the end of a month it may have used up to 50 mb. I'm barely over half-way through this month and it has consumed 110MB of my data. Also, for some reason it just has outright just been halting all internet traffic when using it. What gives?
Was the best ad blocker available until recently. Like a lot of users, it stopped blocking ads within most apps and drains a lot more battery.
This time, after updating the app, the browsing speed has reduced a lot, as before it took very little time to play any video & there was no buffering, but after the update, it took time to play the video & buffering is also increasing, please fix this type of error in the next update soon.
It's great for blocking ads but it will also block videos you are trying to watch on some websites. So if that happens deactivate and you can watch just be sure to turn it back on when you're done.
I would have given it a 5 star rating but it keeps turning itself off. The icon disappears after a restart or an update, allowing ads into games. Other than that, it's a good app.
(This review is for the version of blokada on the website btw) the app is great...most of the time. Blokada 5 is quite unstable and crashes a lot even while battery usage optimization for the app is off. I would like this issue to be fixed in the future.
Was good became a power sponge not much more to be said it still works well but with this new update it drains more storage and needs more power just revert back it was fine before the update and i feel it really didnt need it anyways if i knew it was gonna do this i would of never updated it i only did so because it asked me to now im mad that ut hurts so much to use such a good app
Does it do anything? It lists that it's blocked forty trillion adds in the first 24 hours, but I get all the ads I always have. What am I missing?
First time use was okay, but after a few times the app does not work and all the ads comes back. Please fix this issue.
I've been using this app for a very long time, mainly for iFunny. Today, it just stopped working. I turned it off and on again, like anyone would, and nothing. I restarted my phone, nothing. I checked for an update, nothing. This use to be very reliable but it can't even do its job anymore.
I LOVEE THIS APP!! This app is free and works too! It is simple and easy to use . Just click active and every ad will be blocked !! Using this for 2 years . I didnt find any problems . This is the best ad blocker ! I recommend to try this , you will love it!
I update to the newer version and now I can't get passed the screen where I have to press continue to allow the VPN settings.
Wt# I'm skeptical at first, tried to see the difference between activated and deactivated Blokada, and I'm just happy it did remove the ads and annoying stuff in my browser, apps, and games! Thank you. 🙇
After a software update, doesn't seem to be blocking any ads at all. It says it has been, but I'm back to obnoxious ads on all websites and apps that used to be blocked.
Very good universal ad block, just needs an update. Recently I've started getting ad that get through because they've noticed this app and started trying to work around it, one good update is all it needs
Can no longer manage which apps to block. I usually go into blokada under Advanced -> Apps to manage what apps I want to block. But it doesn't seem to be working properly, as it only displays 3 app under installed. And I have more than 3 installed on my phone.
I love this app, it does it's job, and before now, I rarely had to go to the app to re-activate it. But now, it switches off every minute, and yes the on forever is switched on, idk what's happening. Edit: I take it back, this app has started to interfere with my WiFi, I tested it out, and it turns out I was right, while it was on, my WiFi was slow, while it was off, my wifi started working again. Pls fix this
Worked great before but after the update it doesn't block ads at all now, rather annoying considering it's an ad blocker ngl
It is good at blocking adds but u can't keep it on or it'll mess with your WiFi.
No good anymore. App won't even open anymore. Freezes and crashes. No point in keeping it anymore. It was quite excellent. Not anymore.
It was good until recent. It's suddenly stopped blocking ads for me and I don't know why
I don't think I've ever used a better universal adblocker. I've seen a lot of reviews about it recently not working, but I don't seem to have that issue in the slightest. It is a VPN and will slow down your connection speed a little bit, but the difference is not that big. It blocks ads on every game I play unless it's a game built ad. Most ads it blocks are google ads but the majority of ads are Google so it doesn't even matter. Overall it is an amazing app that I have been using for years now.
