Very easy to use but doesn't have a diet and food section. There is a section where You can make a dated note about what foods were eaten and when, and you can add a note to BS readings, but as far a I can tell the only thing charted is the glucose reading. It does give averages, weekly, monthly, 3 months - which helps to see trends. I will continue to use it, but looking for a more comprehensive app.
This app has a few nice features but lacks common sense. For example, the food entries require that you measure the weight of everything you eat. I'm not going to weigh my eggs or a banana. It won't let you just write "2 eggs and a banana". Also, in several places the notes you enter overlap the blood(y) icons. Also, the spacing of the notes makes it look like the note goes with the previous entry rather than the one it goes with. Good for a freebie, but overall kinda frustrating.
Great app! It could be even better with a few small changes. I'd like to set target ranges so that the blood sugar levels turn red when above a certain number, yellow when in a range that's close to my ideal target, & green of course when ideal. When looking at the list of BS readings, the spacing is weird for entries where I've entered a note- it looks like the note belongs to the previous entry. I'd also love to be able to add a note that's not tied to a BS reading.
The app is very easy to use (intuitive). It makes keeping a record of my medical statistics very easy. Two suggestions for improvement, however: (1) add pulse rate to blood pressure readings and (2) let the app remember which arm I take my blood pressure from between readings so I don't have to reselect it with each reading. Otherwise, the app is everything I was looking for.
I tested six different Diabetes apps after getting diagnosed with gestational diabetes. This one is hands-down the best in my opinion. It's very comprehensive yet simple to use, lets you customize it to suit your needs, and best of all (and this is a big one for me) it's ad-free. No annoying persistent on screen ads or the even more annoying ads that pop up and take over your whole screen when you push the back button. Thank you so much for making this great app!
I have used this app for years. I gave it a 1 star only because I pay the $1.00 subscription to back up my data to the cloud. I got a new phone recently and despite the cloud backup, it lost many years worth of data for blood glucose and A1c. I have tried everything to recover it, but it doesn't work. On previous phones it has worked, but this time it lost everything. I have emailed the developer at least 4 times with no reply. Apparently they just want the money, but do not care beyond that.
One of the easiest app to add, follow and manage your blood glucose values. Reporting with print options; creating pdf file is fine as well. The app shows statistics as well but it's not included to reports - it's pity because the statistics gives very useful information and now it have to send using screenshots. Food, blood pressure etc functions are better to handle/manage with other applications.
Helps you record the basics (blood glucose, weight, blood pressure) but the interface leaves you wanting. Text overlapping, no graphs for individual items for a clear trend indication (only the summary has a graph of sorts), no smart device support... There are much better out there. Giving it 2 since it at least does the basics.
Easy to use. All inputs manual at first. But, saves history for future inputs. Reports can be saved to file or printed. Attachable to emails. I don't use most fields right now. However they may come in handy. Date and time are current and automatically inserted and can be edited if necessary. Great job on version 1 but not expecting further upgrades as this version was written in 2014. Worth it by far.
Easy to use and does the job. Would like to see a clearer execution of the shared results however. I printed a month's worth of results for my doctor and he struggled to read it, asking me to write it down on paper in future. The notes look like they belong to the next entry on the app, and the important information like level and time/date don't stand out enough.
STOPPED ENTERING DATA! Apparently, this app only allows a fixed number of entries. It is mostly convenient to enter data, but I'd like the ability to change the defaults in Settings. For instance, my smart watch measures blood pressure on my left wrist, but the default is "right arm". For another, the readings I take in the morning up to early afternoon are all 'Before breakfast', but the app tries to be helpful by suggesting an event label based on an average person's schedule.
