Bought this after I had a partial pancreas removal. This is so easy to use. Connect to your phone and basically prick your finger and then you are good to go. The straps are very fairly priced, ideal to buy on a package though as that deal is phenomenal. Customer service goes above and beyond to help with issues too.
I loved this before but now i can't get the app to work correctly. Once it gets to add a drop of blood it is frozen. Doesn't even show it's running. I've stuck myself several times trying to trouble shoot the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still the same issue.
Is it possible that you could design the app so that it is not always annoying with tasks assigned or additional information wanted? I'm tired of doing these and providing these and then being asked almost every time I open the app. There has got to be a better choice out there than this I would look elsewhere
I was enjoying this app and meter... I've been using it since August of last year. Everything was working fine but since the last update the eA1C is not working. No matter how many times I take my blood it always says I have 9 more readings left to get my estimated A1C... this is a problem and needs to be resolved!
At first it was amazing like everyone else was saying you have you phone so you just carry the small device. The technology and the data it gives you is the best but all love is lost for this thing when it just doesn't work. Just stopped connecting to my phone and this is scary when you turn this into your main Meter and it just fails you I couldn't check my blood sugar for 3 days now paid for another meter just to find the same results. This is not something to play with it needs to work
The app is nice. It allows you to add a blood sugar reading if you use another device. The reader doesn't fit in my port because I have a heavy duty case on my phone. I bought an adapter but Dario doesn't tell you need one, FYI!
It is easier to manage my levels. The actual device it more accurate than the others and easier to carry. Very discreet.
Not reliable Device was working fine for 2 Month. It is Accurate but in the middle of taking an afternoon reading The app just turned off cleared out all my information When I plug my device back into the phone It would allow for me to take a reading but that was it there was no other options there was no memory there was nothing. After reinstalling the app Three times It finally Showed a log in Area. It logged me out 3 times on its own. Don't have any trust now in the device.
It's fast, easy, tons of info and lots to build on. I would have given it 5 stars but as long as I have to get that stick I will never give one of these a 5.
So far, so good. It takes getting used to at first but that's just because you have to get used to what compartment has what. One feature I would like is a field for Dr visits. For example, you have fasting, pre-meal, etc. Maybe one for when you get blood and/or blood pressure tested, you can indicate it was a Dr visit.

It's alright. Would enjoy a whole lot more if it would stop spamming ads to me trying to sell me more of thier stuff. Can't even test my blood sugar without an ad.
Always have a problem connecting so how reliable is ? If I can't connect wen I need it company needs to fix the software for compatibility with any phone.
3 stars now, because as useful as it is....it's only useful when it can be used. Phone ditched headphone jacks 5 years ago, and Dario has yet to release a USBC version. I had to switch to a different meter be side Dario just can't keep up. If you have a headphone port on your phone, this will be an awesome system. Ifike most people, you do not, DONT buy this.
This app & meter are perfect for me. Easy to use & share data anytime with my doctor. Very compact & ready to go in my small purse. Love the logbook & the automatic "eA1C." I can make all my notes about food, stress, anything that might affect my blood sugar. It's a very good tool to manage pre-diabetes. Wish my mom could've had this tool.
Great device. Very portable way to measure blood sugar on the go with cool features like a1c estimation. So cool that I bought a new one that supported my new phone that has USB Type-C when I upgraded my phone. Very cool!
Pros: Love the app! Quick and informative, with little hassle while using it. When I plugin the adapter it will load up the app and screen I need quickly. Fast process, overall. Cons: On my S8, once the app is used, I have to restart my phone in order to charge or use anything else in the port. Appears that the app does not release the port properly when done or when adapter is removed, not sure...
