Dear Bloomberg Team, Sometimes I would like to comment on the news, it would give a lot of community feedback and interaction for trading purposes, it would be a plus as long as no bots introduce ads and scam-stuff. I must also say sometimes the grafics are older than the new, and therefore lack of data for a better understanding. Like the content and the app. Very much dislike the fact that I cannot get any notifications with this on Android. Despite all alerts turned on, I get no push, popup, none at all. I hope this is fixed one day. Just upgraded my phone and now get plenty of notifications!
App suddenly stops working due to "network" issues. Since my other news apps work fine, I think the issue is this app. This app is hardly innovative -- it's poor software development that can't handle the network is the problem. Low ratings by others is indicative of this view.
(I am a paid subscriber). It is bizarre that Bloomberg is unable to make a quality app. It is not only that it crashes all the time. The design, organization AND underlying infrastructure of the app is just wrong! It is time that the app is redone from scratch, every other approach would be a kludge. Learn from Mozilla Pocket, please! This is embarrassing! Updated: 9 April 2022: login credentials not recognized!!! I cannot read my paid subscription!!!
The notification suggested articles do not open. When clicked on, it only opens the app to its main page. This is unacceptable for a paid subscription of $39 a month.
Awful reading experience as ads load and move the text around while you're trying to read it. Extremely jarring. More ads than paragraphs in some articles, too. Disappointing.
Awesome news source, but if you buy a subscription through your mobile device, it is buggy and when you try to log into the website it says you don't have a subscription. They tell you how to resolve this on the website but the method does not work. It's probably better to buy the subscription through the website instead of the app.
Good basic. Shame the full version costs so much and small fee add-on to the free version was available that allowed maybe 30 articles per month and a 3rd watch list.
Notifications don't take you to the story they relate to, instead take you to the last story you've read. It's then difficult, and at times impossible, to find the story that they prompted you to read. And that's just the technical issues before we even get to the low quality content as a whole
I've subscribed to The NEW York Times, The NY Post &The Boston Globe but, Bloomberg news is My favorite Up-to-date news. World, entertainment & political. You can choose what topics interest you. This one is the best price for what you get! I love this app.
good, easy to use, informative. Don't like the large coloured ad bands. but its free.
Don't waste your time and money on this app. The verify registration step took me to a 403 Forbidden Error message which means I could not register. Bloomberg won't provide support to fix. They won't cancel either and punted me back to Google Pay. I can not use the app features and now Google Pay is the arbiter for a Bloomberg problem? I am awaiting a refund and will raise holy hell if I do not get refunded. Again, do not waste your time or money.
App is pretty good, but I wish they didn't separate the audio portion of articles on a separate page from the text though.
It stated that the trial price 8 should pay is .99 cents for the first three months. But, it has taken the full price instead. Don't scam us! It's not about the price, it's about the principle.
It's 2022, add a dark mode. When you tap on article notifications, oftentimes it won't open the article of interest and instead just show the previously read article. The notification then disappears so to read it, you then have to search for keywords. What a pain in the @$$.
It is nowhere near to expected experience. Old , useless, non relevant news keeps showing on home page. Even my stock broker website updates faster and gives most curated news. The one that matters. Bloomberg on the other hand is just filled with noise. I selected 3mth trial and I cancelling it after 40 days. It just wasted my time.
You pay to subscribe to the app but they still shove ads down your throat and for at least 15 seconds before every video. A joke.
I'm not sure why I became Bloomberg subscriber n the problem is I couldn't cancel my subscription via Bloomberg or Google play, not knowing what's going on ? If I did accidentally subscribed, any way to cancel my subscription or the subscription is bound to be long term n cannot cancel ?
This app works perfectly fine for me. No crashes, no repetitive logins but there are many repetitive adds.
WORST APP POSSIBLE. WRITTEN, AND MAINTAINED, BY MORONS! Have to sign in almost every time. Won't recognize my subscription email 1/2 the time. On and on. Can't believe this garbage app is Bloomberg.
You know how you tap on a notification and it brings you to the article so you can read it? Yeah, don't even try to that here. Getting to this app from a notification just causes it to load forever. You have to complete close the app and then just hope you can find that article again because it won't show up.
With the latest upgrade expect one news article a month that it will let you read. I've never seen so many adds. These adds block you being from beinf able to see market past closings or pretty much anything else. There are better apps available. Almost a useless app.
The app itself is become more and more bare as time goes on. They took away the ability to view graphs and key stats for your portfolio with no clear reason why. I would give it 0 but I can't.
Streaming problem was fixed. Putting in Every Story Climate Change Hysteria is Unbelievable. Scary to Watch. If you understand, what I mean. A little balance in the Political Options would be helpful too to the Business side and Attract More Viewers. You cannot talk about Climate Change Hysteria Every Minute. It's why I just turn Off streaming more often I hear it. So it's Your Company, You're the Decider. I'm just a Consumer. You have Your Rights. I have mine, to turn App Off. Good luck.
News feed is good but slow. Subscription fee is too expensive! App keeps crashing on Android phone.
1. WHY ARE THERE ADS IN A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE?! 2. This app crashes...a lot 3. The app is pretty. 4. Not worth 33.99 a month if it crashes like this. You're a cornerstone of the NYSE and your app functions this poorly? No. I'm not paying 34 dollars a month for this. You have the money to develop this correctly.
Six months after my previous review the app remains quite buggy round the edges. It has continued to not allow me to scroll on my device is portrait mode and only scrolls in landscape. Latterly it has also began to throw repeated 'network error' messages. My network works fine for all other apps. This thing is surprisingly low-quality and poor QA, for an app with a not insignificant subscription.
