Absolutely useless app. Uninstalling immediately! I wasn't using this app and I had forgotten why. I just remembered it was useless at best. Amusingly enough a Bloomberg customer representative just gave me a call to sing the app's praises... a gentle reminder that self praise is no praise!! Basically to use the app, you have to login, which I can accept but the entertaining part is that it logs you out from your laptop connection. In other words it's either or. So sorry guys, useless app!
Overall good and close to terminal app. Needs some navigational tweaks. On Chromebook, the back button in the upper left doesn't go back, it shuts down the program. Some pages such as charts get "stuck"--you can't easily navigate back to where you were, sometimes have to shut down the program and start over. Also on Chromebook, when you're using a different app and not logged into the Bloomberg app, it sometime pops up on screen spontaneously, covering up what you're doing.
It is a pleasure to have this app on your phone. The UI has been continuously improvised in terms of content, aesthetics. One thing I would like to see is some sort of news notifications based on my recent browsing history on BBG terminal/app. Maybe in the upcoming versions.
No 200d moving average on charts even though it is in the iPhone version. Asked for it to be fixed years ago, yet still not there.
The latest version has a bad bug where it's impossible to scroll past the first phone screen's worth of an email message in the MSG part of the app. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Edit: issue has been fixed with latest release. Thanks for the quick turnaround!
When tablet is in landscape mode, the app will only show the equity chart. That is, you are unable to scroll down and see the actual useful info that you can normally see -- like earnings estimate, events, anr, res, etc. .. Can only see these things when in portrait mode. - i presume this is intended functionality for phones, but is unacceptable for a tablet, where it is often used with a keyboard and in landscape mode. Pls make the app like it is on ipad pro. Am on a Samsung Tab s7+.
Rubbish. Went to check pricing. This app version has not updated index pricing. Everything stale. Useless
Finger print reader recommisioned so I can return the stars removed in a previous review. That really was the only major issue I have had with the app. It's usually a solid complement to the desktop and in fact the only practical way of consuming Bloomberg content whilst away from the desktop and truly mobile. Hopefully there won't be any similar dev maintenance missteps anytime soon.
Provides the most commonly used functions in a phone friendly format and efficient data consumption. Some functions are quirky and will give different results than a desktop version which can be annoying.
Cannot access research reports for individual companies under Securities page. I used to see it in the past, but no longer the case after app updated some months ago. My iPad shows Research btwn "Earnings and Estimates" and "Ownership" section. Posting as app review here, hoping someone notices and fixes ASAP; Bloomberg help desk did not know how to address this. Android is great bc it has B-Unit app whereas Apple doesn't. Considering switch bc I need to be able to search for research too
Often somehow seems to embed itself into phone background, unable to interact with app despite force close. Lose all functionality of home screen despite trying multiple launcher apps. Only fix is to restart phone and not open.
I think best application in the world for stock and stock news this plateform very nice and regular giving update and helping understanding stock preparation
Constant fingerprint issue. Rarely can I log in using finger. Not acceptable. update: recently the app seems to be accepting my fingerprint for login. I have adjusted my rating accordingly.
Why is is that I can't find the page to register?.... Between, I am from Nigeria
Good as a stand in lawyer and caller app
This version requires a clean install ie uninstal and reinstall. In that case it runs like a charm. Very responsive devs as they contacted me to resolve previous bugs. Well done guys!
Bbg you need to tell us what the changes are for a new version of the app. Edit: "What's New" is NOT informative at all, and that's precisely the issue. Tell us what the new changes really are. Otherwise we have no reason to update.
None of my personally set post alerts for my IB sound when I'm logged onto this app on my phone. So annoying. Also once I log off the app I keep getting random sound notifications even after I log off
app doesn't work after the update on 12/18/18. Everytime they update the app they make it worse and worse so i guess making it completely unusable was a natural progression. it was a 0 star app before the update and now it earns 1 star because being unusuable is better than worthless.
Fingerprint no longer works on S10+ after latest Bloomberg and andoirs update. Please fix and can you make it support face unlock too please not just fingerprint. Thanks.
"We know you need your information quicker, better, and smarter. With this latest update..." This update is still slow and takes ages to load. Agree with other reviews that this is the worst user experience.
The app cannot access the server sometimes and needa reinstall it again... then it works again... but it happened again... I tried it several times... hope the next update can fix this
well engineered app. has been stable and responsive for me on a galaxy S9. Wish I could do more from the app, but it's not the whole Bloomberg terminal (nor should it be, probably). love it. :)
Great improvisation. The app have evolved around all feedback that were shared and is working flawless.
Functions from the terminal have been beautifully redesigned such as WEIF. DAYB is a joy to read when I unfold my fold 2.
App not working after update. Unable to login using fingerprint or password. Please advise what I should do.

Great app and easy to use. Downside is that you will be auto-logged out of the terminal if try to use both at once.
