Blu Escape - Hardcore Platformer (Free)

This game is amazing! It's timing and level designs are really great as well. I do have a complaint though, I've reached level 15 and the lava moves faster than other people's that I've looked at on YouTube and is literally impossible to complete. I might be bad, but I'm pretty sure I'm not, by the looks of the others on YouTube. Otherwise phenomenal game!

Beat all the levels available so far. while it's a good game most of the time, sometimes it feels like it's a bit more difficult than the control quality can justify. Occasionally the late game ice physics seems to glitch and shoot you forward at max speed without any apparent reason. Every once in a while there's a level that feels more like it's pure RNG than any skill to get through. Also, only about half the player sprite options are cool enough to consider using. Could use bigger controls.

I like the game and it's difficulty, but the randomness of the cycles of obstacles ruin a lot of things, then it usually comes down to luck after that. Also, you get an ad every 3 times you die, and that is extremely infuriating. I played through all the levels and the randomness never got better. The artwork is good, though.

This is a fun game, but I found a major exploit that can make several levels very easy, especially parts of level 15. The exploit involves the green blocks with upwards arrows on them. If you jump on the block, you will float down slower than usual. While you are floating downwards, press pause and then resume, and you'll get a boost upwards. If you repeatedly do this, you can practically jump infinitely. Otherwise, it's a good game.

Pretty good, challenging game, with tight, responsive controls to match. Only problem is, many levels are very lazily designed.just copy pasted a bunch of platfofms and called it a day. There's a difference between difficult and frustrating. And many levels are frustrating.

Final edit. Level 15 is not possible to beat. Youtube it. The youtube video clearly shows the lava level in the first few seconds being much lower and slower than in the actual game. I tried 200 plus times and was only able to make it past the first launch like 10 times. After you do, the lava level is still so high, that it's physically impossible to stay alive for more than 10 seconds. Something is wrong with the 15. It needs to be fixed.

As a game developer i will say the following things. Controller is not si efficient in many places. The obsticles are not so hard. Anyway the game is good from visual and fx. Main Menu is good and simple. Colliders sometimes are not working properly. The tilemap and sprites yoy are using are also good. To make it more challenging put time, like beat the clock or to make it speedrun platform game also. In general i am giving 3 star rating.

Before you make a review underrating the game because of difficulty, let me tell you something. Get Gud. Also the game is designed to be difficult so I dont understand some people saying it's to hard, also I got to like level 20 and just stopped playing because of the boring design.

Its a pretty sick challenging platformer although i feel like the difficulty can ramp up a little too fast and when lava is rising you cant really worry about timing even though alot of the platforming challenges are timing based (it is only one example but there are others like the level where the platforms dissapear and blasters are shooting up) overall an actually good mobile game

Nice game, graphics and music. The only bad things are the controls, they are uncomfortable, you should improve them. I wish you the best of luck, and please add more level, don't abandon this game.

Fun game. There are a few levels that seem more luck based than skill though. Wish I could have rotated the screen to play the other way around. And wish the app would allow moving to my sd card. For those reasons, docked a star

It is a pretty good game with cool artstyle, map designs etc. but I would give it a settings with settable button size because the buttons are a bit tiny for me but maybe they are good for somebody.

Unresponsive, bad controls...level design feels too convenient, doesn't feel that flewd...or smooth to play, the difficulty was good enough if it wasn't for the bad controls.

You're already in the hurt animation before the spikes come up. Expect some ads to pop up when you die. Good game

I have to say , this game is good but very hard and there is many thing that annoying me instead of give me fun but still this game is good also the controlling sometimes annoying and sometimes very well

Clickbait advert promotor. TOO many ads every 3 lives. A life is very short in this pixel perfect game that takes impossible precision and an advert can be 5 to 30 seconds long. Why would I watch countless 30 second adverts to play 3 lives that last on average 5 seconds? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I actually hate to give to game even 1 star because of the advert prostitution.

Love this game this is really nice cool but one thing the platforms are so hard I can't even reach one block I whish this game has double jump. Because the blocks are so hard to reach.

Extremely underrated game that I fell in love with as soon as I played it the gameplay was hard but fair the music was good and the game itself was pretty good I highly recommend it.

I wish we had more platformers like this on mobile, being more challenging and timing based. Why is that so hard?

Gamepad support not available. This is a perfect so to play with gamepad, but it's impossible.

It's pretty hard, some levels had me fuming but I like the pixel art style! It's pretty good.

I can see the inspiration from Celeste. I think the music a rip off. Nonetheless good game for a solo dev.
