Be careful with the unresponsive app, as it will charge you until you get it to land, and they don’t do refunds. I found out the hard way. The rental agreement (on the website) states: "You must lock the Scooter at the end of Your ride…If you fail to do so, you will continue to be charged…The maximum charge for a single trip is $200 for 24 hours." Awful app.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If I could have selected 0 stars I would. We used the scooters in Corpus Christi this weekend. What a mess to say the least. We setup our accounts and it took me 5 scooters before one finally linked with the app. Once we were done the scooter would not end my ride, kept charging me. After several attempts to force close the app and restart it and also restarting my phone, the app would still not stop charging me. I left a voicemail and still No call back!!!
I've never left a 1 star review. I love the scooters but the app absolutely sucks. I've taken about 15 trips on them trying to give it a chance - but no more. The app will "hang" for a minute or "two" after you end the ride and it keeps charging you. This has happened numerous times. I've written Customer Service - nothing. No help, no refund, just a link to an "updated" app that is the exact version that I use.
Didn't like the way they charge to use their scooters. They ask for a $5 deposit then they ask to add money to a digital wallet. To which they charge from there. I contacted customer support for a full refund weeks ago to no response. Unless they rework this, I don't see any way to recommend this app. I'd give no stars if possible.
some scooters need a charging but im sure that will change. fast and easy unlock on the app and great report system. user friendly and simple. so far its cheap and they go pretty fast. if only corpus had better sidewalks and bike lanes.
Very unreliable. Some days scooters are available, some days there are none. Sometimes the app works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you rent a scooter that doesn't work and there is no response from their customer service. I had to dispute a $1.15 charge with my credit card company because I could get no response from the scooter rental company.
Useless to me. My city gave up on the scooters after the trial ran out. I never did try them out. Too much financial commitment required up front. Why would I link my bank account for a one time "try it out" rental? There's a reason why it failed.
I was charged for 56 minutes ($9.4, 1.9 mi) because the app would not let me land. The app is glitchy and unresponsive. There is a lot to learn from the competitors' apps (i.e Bird).
This app is very unresponsive, I will load up and just stay on a white screen. I haven't been able to to use it for a week . Tried on multiple phones
Their app doesn't work to activate scooters but you still get charged. If you get your app working and fix the duplicate charges I'd change my score. It was fun when it did work.
Had six scooters fail in one day. Causes duplicate charges. Had to walk to find replacement scooter. And cannot locate another Duck when current Duck is checked out. But the one scooter was fine. Average speed. Will still use again only cause it's only player in town.
love the blue ducks, great scooters they are fun. the app in the other hand is trash, it wont let me end a trip. this needs to fix asap since it charges by the min ughhhh horrible experience with the app
None of the scooters worked! I tried three or four scooters before giving up on them completely. I have been waiting a week for a refund after calling support and I haven't heard from them since. *Update: refund was given 2 months after initial request
I got charged 6 different times all diffrent amounts for 2 scooters which one died on me. Ap kept freezing up and not show location as well. Reported it and still never received any response on the matter nor been refunded. Was fun when my family did the scooters in S.A. with diffrent aps but so far blue duck sucks. I want my refunds!!
only allows for a single sick rental. If you are a dad with a family, this app is not the best.
didnt even work. entered my email and loaded for a few mins then kept saying error.
As soon as you open the app an error pops up and it won't load.

No scooters anywhere, no service in app was provided and I submitted several inquiries about refund. Avoid blue duck it's a RIP off
SCAM ALERT, do not create an account. Do not get involve with this company. From charging you for scooters that don't work from taking a security deposit that you will never see again. Wish I would of looked at the reviews before renting one.

After I'm done riding the scooter it won't let me finish the timer keept on going and going called customer service and nothing this is Wackkk!!!!!

I knocked a star off for location accuracy. Compared to Bird I like how Blue Duck when I press land does so immediately. Bird it takes a few seconds to "land" and keeps charging you for it. That doesn't happen with Blue Duck. I really appreciate that it immediately stops and does not continue to charge me extra like Bird. However I do think Bird has a better locating of it's scooters and of yourself in the app. Edit: After this update I get only a white screen. Because of this I cannot scan the scooter. Happens when I actually needed it. Now my score goes to a 1 star.
