The developer is busy with other ventures/work thus not supporting this app as we feel he should. The way to get this app to connect is via a third party app that controls the newer phones BT connections. The stock samsung app is not capable of seeing the ECA broadcast. Once the third party app is installed it will find and connect to the ECA then your stock samsung controller will pick it up and log it. THEN you can open the Blue Flex app and connect to the ECA.
It doesn't work on my Note 8, please update the app to support it. I haven't sold my s7 Edge because it does work on it and that's all I use it for. Trying to use this for my Evo X.
It's a great app with one fairly big caveat. The flex fuel sensor does not even show up on most galaxy series phones I have tried it on a s8, s7, s5, pixel and a few others and it will not show up on any of the Samsung devices
works perfectly. just wish it auto connected to the unit when opening app. very easy to view e% and temp.
Please get the app to work for android head units, I would gladly donate $50 to get this to work in my car.
Doesnt work on Galaxy Note 4 or Nexus 5x. Only worked with note 2.
Does exactly what is says on the box, I wish that there was an option to change the temp to Celsius and that the UI looked alittle more appealing, but these are minor problems
If anyone is having connection issues just remember you need to connect the flex fuel to your phone via bluetooth in settings before it will show up on the app.
Great job! Nice and simple, but effective. Any chance on Celsius temp?
It would very nice if this app was made compatible with iOS products. I’ve been using a old android phone to check my e85 percentage for a few years now. It getting old that I have to maintain a extra device in the vehicle just to check the e85 percentage. It would be much appreciated if there was an e85 reading app I could download on my Apple phone to see these readings.
