Blue Flex

Whether you have an E85 tune or a full flex fuel enabled vehicle, FlexConverter.com has a module that will complement your setup. Use this app with a FlexConverter.com bluetooth module to get ethanol content and fuel temperature streamed right to your smartphone!
FlexConverter.com bluetooth modules support ethanol content and fuel temperature data streaming as well as built in sensor error detection and analog 0-5v output for ECU datalogging. These modules can be used to supply a converted ethanol content signal to the vehicle's ECU for flex fuel support and datalogging or can be used to monitor ethanol levels in cars tuned on specific ethanol blends. FlexConverter.com has many options available ranging from basic low-cost solutions to full plug-and-play systems for popular tuner platforms such as Subaru and Mitsubishi.

Our modules convert the standard frequency based output from a GM ethanol content sensor to an ECU friendly 0-5v analog output. Fuel temperature and error mode detection are also utilized to get the most out of the available information and provide a rich feature set at half the cost of other ethanol content modules on the market.

Analog output values for FlexConverter.com modules are 0.5v = 0%Ethanol and 4.5v = 100%Ethanol. Output will drop to 0v upon detection of a sensor error to alert the ECU that a problem has occurred. FlexConverter.com modules also include a calibration mode that will allow the analog output to be precisely calibrated to the vehicle for the utmost accuracy.

It would very nice if this app was made compatible with iOS products. I’ve been using a old android phone to check my e85 percentage for a few years now. It getting old that I have to maintain a extra device in the vehicle just to check the e85 percentage. It would be much appreciated if there was an e85 reading app I could download on my Apple phone to see these readings.

The developer is busy with other ventures/work thus not supporting this app as we feel he should. The way to get this app to connect is via a third party app that controls the newer phones BT connections. The stock samsung app is not capable of seeing the ECA broadcast. Once the third party app is installed it will find and connect to the ECA then your stock samsung controller will pick it up and log it. THEN you can open the Blue Flex app and connect to the ECA.

It doesn't work on my Note 8, please update the app to support it. I haven't sold my s7 Edge because it does work on it and that's all I use it for. Trying to use this for my Evo X.

It's a great app with one fairly big caveat. The flex fuel sensor does not even show up on most galaxy series phones I have tried it on a s8, s7, s5, pixel and a few others and it will not show up on any of the Samsung devices

Please get the app to work for android head units, I would gladly donate $50 to get this to work in my car.

Does exactly what is says on the box, I wish that there was an option to change the temp to Celsius and that the UI looked alittle more appealing, but these are minor problems

If anyone is having connection issues just remember you need to connect the flex fuel to your phone via bluetooth in settings before it will show up on the app.

Great job! Nice and simple, but effective. Any chance on Celsius temp?
