I've only just started using this app, but so far I'm very impressed. Interface is easy to navigate; smooth page transitions; a very clean implementation of members information.
Pretty good app. Could use more detail on stuff like vaccines and where to get them in-network if my PCP does not provide them (as is the case with the shingles booster).
I can't file a claim using this app. I get as far as adding the billing code and I have no option to go to the next page or any indication why it's not accepting the code. There's also not chat or email so I'm going to have to call which seems to be a bit like the 90's.
Tried to login. Nope. Tried to get help with username and password...technical issues, please call. No help. Always technical issues. Makes me miss Kaiser.
Installing the app (on my Pixel 3 running Android 11) was a breeze, as was signing in to my account and enabling biometric authentication. The app provides quick, on-the-go access to my Inbox, ID card, billing info, claims history, etc. and is easier than performing these same tasks via the website. YMMV, obvi, but this seems like a solid app and I haven't encountered any of the issues described by other reviewers.
The app is broken. Nobody even quality tested this. To change one's password one must first enter their date of birth, but there's no way to set the year without going back one month at a time, which is very tedious since I'm in my seventies. That's 12 clicks per year for 70 years, which is more than 840 clicks. This app is dumber than a stump. It's nothing more than an invitation for a repetitive stress injury.
I don't understand the point of this app. You can accomplish nothing with it. It just kicks you out to a website that has none of your information 🤣🤣
Very easy to navigate. All info is easily viewed. Finding a doctor was quick.
Blue Shield of CA is an amazing company! Especially for the LGBTQ-PRSTUVWXYZ (lol) community. I just want to boast that they are the ONLY insurance company that recognizes transgender and COVERS the surgery reassignment procedure! Not only is their goal to offer affordable healthcare for everyone (in CA), but they do so with their uptmost ability! BSCA not Only provides affordable healthcare to their members, but also supports their Providers with the best service as well! Excited for an App!!!
Couldn't pay my bill. Got stuck in a loop where it would have a figure that was 10% of my monthly premium. If I selected the monthly premium radio button and next it would go back to the beginning. The website worked fine with same credit card etc so was able to setup payment there.
This app was good but when i try to search for dental PPO provider in my area it doesn't give me a list or map of providers in my area please fix this
It's A nice easy app no flaws 👌 I get too see what I need perfect!
This app is great and easy to navigate
Pretty good, but I guess what I would like to see are the pending claims. I don't know if they plan on publishing that information. Otherwise, the app has a good amount of readable and usable information and explanations - yet not too much, so my head's not spinning!
Useful app in emergencies. Has card visible which is great. The emergency on call staff is super nice too. But the plan was horrible. I've since changed plans to someone who actually covers things without a fight and pre authorization for literally EVERYTHING.
Not sure if it's the app or not but been trying to reset my password for the last month to get access as I need a new one. Every time it says it's having technical issues, even called and spoke with a representative to get it figured out on their end. Still doesn't work, so now I have to pay by phone every month.
Worked fine until 3 months ago. Now, automatically changes a dollar payment to cents.. ie: $74.00 to 00.74. Will not allow to proceed past that point. The worst part, they don't seem to care to fix app. Huge inconvenience when current mail service (usps) is so abysmal! Get it together Blue Shield! As of March 22, app appears to be fixed. Thank you..
The app was very fast and was super easy-to-use. Plus I was able to access all my information very quickly. Not a whole lot of difference between the app and the actual web page. Very pleased.
I love being able to login and set up an appointment virtually. Very easy to use! Only negative I have is that it doesn't save your member ID for you (not a dealbreaker at all!)
They tell you your ID card is available digitally...but it isn't. Also they refuse to give you a summary of benefits for your plan, which is also very very stupid. They don't even do it on the website either! How unhelpful, they have plenty of links to information on health to give the appearance of a company that cares, and yet when it comes to the things that really matter...they clearly don't. Honestly this app has so little function you're better off using the website anyway.
For me and this is only my opinion this app works real good very easy to navigate and get done with what I need.
Doesn't let me log in saying my info is wrong, but I log in perfectly fine on the website.
Love this. Been easy and very helpful to have
App wouldn't allow creation of password or user name. Had to go outside app to create an account. Otherwise the app seems very useful. I used both a Samsung tab-a and a Samsung CHROMEBOOK. Same problem with both devices.
Teladoc is slow and unresponsive. The UI is not intuitive at all. And the messages layout is horrendous and confusing. Not well designed at all.
Mostly a good app, but needs more thorough e2e testing. Currently stuck in the queue waiting for a teledoc doctor for over an hour, and every time I try and cancel the appointment the app says "bad request". Really should have been caught during development instead of in production! Fix your typos in the code, please!
After the update I can't log in. I see the text "take a break and get some fresh air" with an eternal spinning wheel.
