The app seems OK, but the advertising is incredibly intrusive. Every time I connect my headphones, a full screen ad appears, which is an unacceptable sin in my opinion. Clearly they're pressuring you to buy the premium version, but there's other ways to do so. I'll u install immediately and look for a much friendlier alternative.
I wanted to like the app. However, it never updates battery properly. Also, on my HTC U11, the Standard Widget does not appear as 3x1. It automatically becomes 3x3 and can't be resized. Also, it would be nice to be able to change the color of the widgets, or at least select gray rather than the super bright cream color. Not worth downloading.
Unfortunately, in the free version you only get a notification about the battery level when you connect your device and then nothing! Battery indicator in the notification bar is available only for premium subscription. To make things worst you will get an insane amount of ads. The app is more frustrating than helpful. Instantly uninstalled.
Well this app is pretty good, not great; many times it disconnects then connects 2 to 3 times a day just before it gives you the battery percentage..it could be the earbuds doing it, but what I'm going to do is uninstall the app then try the buds without the app. That's why I gave it 3 stars once I see what's going on I'll update this rating..well just as I stated it's the app..when I connect my buds, repeats connected , disconnected 2 to 3 times ...then it does work fine..
Displays a question mark instead of the bluetooth headphones' charge level. Uninstalled.
Awesome app! really cool, doing exactly what it said without confusing around. the best i found to check my headset battery level and the dark mode looks greatππΌyou should add option to edit the name of Bluetooth devices in the app also the popup is stuck the touch for few seconds everytime i connect but it's not very annoying. thanks for the respond ππΌ
It tells you to swipe right to check battery level, but when you do so, it disconnects the device! It does reconnect again but this is too disruptive for me, I just want to see the battery level at a glance without interrupting the music.
I love how the info regarding the use of this app is available, even though the app itself is very intuitive. You can easily view the status of your currently connecred bluetooth spp.
Doesn't work. Showed level the first time and then after 2 hours couldn't update the levels no matter how many times I refreshed. The earphones also gave the notification that they were disconnected and connected again, coz the app refreshed, but the level did not change.
doesn't work on any of my Bluetooth devices, including pixel buds. But the ridiculous part is the price the developer wants, monthy fee if nearly $1.50 or $15 for a lifetime... to get rid of ads and open the most important features...LOL thats crazy expensive for a novelty app. deleted....
doesn't show battery level for most devices that work in BatOn and 1.5$ per month or 15$ for a widget and ad removal !! BatOn has a cleaner UI, works with more devices, has notif/task bar icons and its FREE with no ads I installed both and this app couldn't read the battery level for 3 bt 4.0le devices including mi band 2, and I haven't experienced any glitches in BatOn yet !
Paid $11 for pro version. The notification and home screen widget works as expected (though I wish you could resize the widget), however the pop-up widget doesn't seem to work. Whenever I turn on my Bluetooth earbuds and they connect, I get the notification but no pop-up widget.
I like it but you need to add widget functionality. This way I can see batt levels from home screen. This does read the bat levels from the system right? Edit Thanks for the quick reply. That added a star :) widget functionality will add one more. If you could do a list of all and individual ones I'd rate it 10 stars
Not really a shortcoming of the app but the Bluetooth devices themselves: if they only broadcast ranges of battery percentage, it's what the app will show. My knockoff Sony's will show 80% until it suddenly says low battery. But the app itself works as advertised, it just couldn't give me what my headphones can't actually give.
I originally added this to my Samsung phone to find some way to know my Bluetooth battery life before it says, 'battery low' then its too late to charge it. I love this app, it also has another bonus by announcing in my ear piece who is calling. I've been wanting that feature again for years. I love this app!!
So i have an Audio technica m50xBT. The offical app does not have a notification battery status, and thats why this app appealed to me. however the battery level is inaccurate. The offical audio technica app (at time of writting) shows 40% (which is correct) and this is showing 80%.
My bluetooth device disconnects and turns off, instead of reconnecting. So I must manually turn it on and reconnect it, after which it again will deconnect and power off. Thank you for working on it!
That's exactly what i was looking for! A widget for 1 tap connect to headphones, and battery level displayed inside this widget. I would be even more satisfied if you could change the background of this widget to a darker one, or even make it transparent. Other than this lil thing, really grat app!
You've got to be kidding me. is there ANY tool that has all the features open for free? I can't see the battery percentage unless I pay almost 20 dollars. Really? we should not have to pay for a feature that should already be built in by default. shouldn't have to even install an app to get this feature. Not a fan of having to pay for a feature that should come with my 600 dollar phone.
Update as dev responded - your app is severely gimped without paying for it. $18 is extortionate for what it provides. Intrusive full screen ads after any function is performed in the extremely basic version. Your app provides nothing over several free ones. This is a $3 app at best. Nova launcher for example is $5 and provides way more than one function. Oh but I can judge. $18 is a joke for what you are providing - access to info already available with other free apps... "Popup widget that shows information" is a blatant lie that is locked behind a paywall..
Good but not perfect, the pop-up widget works when I connect my bt earbuds, but the widget on my homescreen only shows the text to "enable standard widget" instead of the battery level although I already activated this on the app settings.
All of these type of apps that I have tried seem to be a tad unstable. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. It's not a bad against this particular app, I think it is a thing with Android in general (fragmentation). The devs do the best they can!! πππ
The app doesn't read any battery levels for m my devices but it isn't the apps fault. It is my devices fault because they dont support Bluetooth battery readings. The app could be a little sleeker but it is ok. Great app though.
Great and useful. It would be better if the app automatically updates the bluetooth battery level when started, without the need of swiping action.
Tell me... Do I need to buy it to see if it can actually do what it was intended for? All I get is a list of connected devices. My system settings for my Bluetooth gives me more information than your app does. Two huge thumbs down. Uninstalling it.
It only shows Bluetooth connected but never even shows the battery percentage. Waste my time downloaded it. I'm using huawei device its not an old phone. At your description it stated huawei is compatible. But when I downloaded it nope. I'm using airpods 2 anyway.
On premium version Notification Bart does not match with the percentage of the app menu. Even when you refresh the app. For example; app menu shows 50% and notification bart shows 70% Samsung Android Device.
Unfortunately doesn't work. All permissions given. Not only is there no pop-up (allowed) but it actually prevents connected sound. Tried twice reinstalling but no luck. Shame.
Adware is annoying, but inaccuracy is worse. I had a phone with a very useful battery indicator right next to the Bluetooth symbol. I don't know that it was perfect, but it was much better than this in terms of accuracy. This app showed me 70% shortly before the device gave me an audible low battery warning, then showed 80% about a minute after plugging the device in.
