I used to love this app I've had it for over 5 years, but I can't log in. The login button doesn't highlight up for me to push it after I put my credentials in. I've done deleted it and reinstalled it and I still cannot log into my account. I have to do it on the web but you cannot do mobile check deposits on the web. I don't know what's going on but it definitely needs fixed right away.

A family member and I got prepaid cards at the same time he choose the Walmart card and I choose Bluebird. He's had issues just trying to withdraw funds and with direct deposit. He pays $4 just to load his own money on the card. I've had no problems with mine even using it for a temporary direct deposit and I can even cash checks thru their mobile app! Best of all I can load money on it without paying a fee!

Extremely poorly managed program. Customer service is bad, after a bunch of prompts to get you NOT to speak to anyone, if you do, they routinely just stay quite on the line, in hopes you just hang up, because theybseem not to have answers to some technical questions. The Q&A section on settings for your account is abismal at best. Took 4 separate calls to get a subaccount working properly, no one could figure how to fix my issue. Bad service all around.

So Bluebird is aware of the issue of credit being issued back to customers cards. I have a return from Target over 2 weeks ago still pending. Aware of issues accessing set aside account, aware of customers trying to use card for purchases and card declining despite having funds. This is definitely a company slowly going out of business.

I used to love bluebird. Been a customer for 8 years.. and now trying to call customer service for a minor issues is like pulling teeth. I'm on the phone now and they're transferring me and it's been 42 minutes. Unbelievable!! And for some reason y'all have where my card is blocked to use for Google play and didn't even notify me. I want this fix. I purchase items on here!! Never had any issues til y'all updated last year. And I don't even get text notifications anymore! BS!!!!

I have had Bluebird for years and have been satisfied with the service. I recently I have been getting tagged with Fraud Alerts, for my purchases. Although the worst part is I won't get a notification until 24 to 48 hours after they've started blocking the transactions. Their customer service hung up on me 3 times, I finally asked for a manager the 4th time I called, she was helpful but transferred me to the fraud dept. who was rude and lied to me, I am going to stop doing business with them.

Absolutely horrible. Every tax season their servers have gone down. When I have thousands of dollars trapped in my set aside account. Leaving me totally unable to access MY money. Last year the cards were locked. This year they say that the cards can still be used. I can't verify since I can't transfer into my main account. Thankfully I have cash on hand this time. It really left me in a bad place last time. I'm pulling everything out as soon as it's back up. Then stopping my direct deposits.

Loved the app since day one of using it, but there is one bug that had driven me absolutely nuts and has been in every iteration of the app on every version of Android. When you set up the biometric unlocking feature, after a few times of using it, it will often break and require you to set it up again, requiring you to input your password over and over. The entire point of setting up biometrics is so you don't have to do that every time, so why do I still have to? For that, only 4 stars.

I am rating Bluebird a 1 because I can't even get them to mail me the card. They claimed my mailing address is incorrect but I get everything else delivered to thus address with no issue. Then I tried calling customer service regarding this on 4 different days multiple times each day and can't get to a person and system normally states the computer system needed to answer your question at this time is not available after entering my Social Security #. It hangs up on me when I select human option

Been with bluebird since 2012,as a card company I have 0 complaints, 100% satisfied. But something has to be done about this app,it's terrible,and has not worked for months,and the online site isn't much better. I suggest calling the customer service number if you need assistance with anything.

Don't do it. Tried paying my rent and the only way their system would let me was to use their online bill pay option. Well here we are 7 days later and it still says processing and I've got late payments and an eviction notice, but yet my money is missing. Calling them is a joke no way to talk to an actual person. So save yourself time and stress and go with someone else.

This use to be a good way to put funds aside but since late last year I haven't been able to open the app just keeps saying to be patient how patient do you have to be its been months going to try and find another card this has gotten to be horrible and after reading all the other reviews I see I'm not the only one. I guess if you're trying to lose customers or going out of business just let us know

Bluebird used to be great. Everytime they "update" it it just gets worse and worse. And it's not just the app, it's the website too. Anytime I try to do anything I get the same error: Oops! Well, this is awkward. We’re experiencing some technical difficulties, please try again in a moment. And no matter how long you wait to try again, still get the same error. Bluebird is useless anymore. Will be closing my account.

This has become a terrible app to use! My card keeps getting flagged almost every time I try to make an atm withdrawal. Then, I have to wait on hold for over 1 hour to get my card unlocked instead receiving an email or text to verify the transaction! This is completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating! Please fix these issues!

Don't like the change because now can't do anything and you have to go the website to do all the things you use to do. One problem is even going to the website whenever you click the notification area it kicks you out it makes you reload in. Every sense that change in the app I cannot get notifications by text. Tuesday February 15th 2022 update still can't use app under profile / Notifications it say Oops we failed to load this page. And you have to login again.

Called both phone numbers. Can't seem to get a human on the phone anymore. The automated system doesn't even give the option of talking to a human. Pressing 0 doesn't do anything either. The same unhelpful menu options just keep repeating. This service only gets 1 Star from me.

If I could give a negative review I would give it a negative five five because I can't seem to activate my bluebird Visa card I've been trying for 3 weeks and they keep telling me their computers down when the computer is not down and I go through all their questions and answer them when I try to get to talk to somebody because that's what I need help with they say the computers down and then when I purchase the zero to talk somebody hangs up on me I like my bluebird American Express card.

Not good, after 8 years it wants to ask for an update, now I can't get it do anything.. my password which I had the Entire time doesn't work, and my card numbers don't match either. I deleted the app and will Never use it again, it's absolutely useless. I'll just call to check my balance as it's much easier

I'm definitely switching banks, it's been 2 days since the app was offline. Woke up this morning trying to log back in to see if it's online and it still wasn't. Call customer service, now you think they would've been helpful. I told one lady that I couldn't get through the app nor on browser, I've tried it a lot of times. Did not receive no error message or whatever it just wouldn't let me log in. She then put me on hold for 40 min... I would not recommend this to anybody 🙄.

LEAVE ME ACCESS MY ACCOUNT!! I put this app on my phone so I wouldn't have to go through the two step verification code that NEVER SENDS A VERIFICATION CODE TO MY EMAIL. Only now I see you put the same broken verification message that HAS NOT FUNCTIONED for MANY MONTHS from the website onto the app as well. I don't need a second layer of protection, what I need is access to my account.

Hasn't worked in so long it is beyond ridiculous. Before the entire app went down you could no longer mobile deposit checks. This has now become the most inconvenient card that offers zero good features. Your response does nothing to negate that the app doesn't work at all and provides zero use or benefits now. Of course I can call some 800# and wait on hold forever but should I have to, no. Does that allow me to make mobile deposits and banking transfers, no. Making this app and card worthless

Awesome. The Bluebird Card by American Express is the best financial product available to the general public anywhere. 03/03/2022: Poor customer service when attempting to unlock my account allegedly due to too many password attempts when signing onto my Bluebird account and when attempting to stop payment on a check mailed by Bluebird Bill Pay. My entire ordeal cost was approximately 100 minutes spent mostly on hold with customer service.
