What type of jobs are there?
- BlueCrew offers many types of jobs including: Movers, Drivers, Forklift operators, Warehouse staff, Event staff, Data Entry personnel, as well as customer service and salespeople. We offer competitive wages for all positions, and offer advancement opportunities for our top employees.
How often will I get paid?
- BlueCrew pays you by direct deposit, or by check to your home address. Checks are sent out every week on Friday.
When will I start getting jobs to my phone?
- Employers typically post jobs early in the week — as soon as they post a job, a notification will be sent to your phone with the time, wage, date, and location.
How do I accept and work a job?
- Jobs are recommended for you directly in your schedule. Click on any you like, review the job description, and hit accept on the ones that work for you. Once you've accepted it, you can view all the details by clicking on the job in your schedule. Show up on time, clock in using the app when you arrive, and clock out when you leave. We have live support directly in the app if you have any trouble.
Where are the jobs?
- Currently, the jobs are focused in the Bay Area (San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland), Sacramento, and now we're expanding to Los Angeles. We're always adding more jobs, so if you don’t see any close to you, we’re coming.

The support is now great however the app itself is clunky. There are a lot of processes that are still manually done through chats such as options to submit hours or correct punches that seem like they should be able to be performed through the app. The job board no longer updates automatically causing you to have to exit out of the board and enter again if you'd like to see any new postings. This wasn't how it was before, it would cycle every 30 seconds and pop new ones into the list.
I cannot get passed the work authorization part where you have to sign documents inorder to be able to work or pick up a shift.. I keep clicking on it and just when I think it loading it DOESNT and I have tried uninstalling the app and installing again stillll nothing! So I'm gonna send an email to find help on why it won't let me sign the documents
Best Job app. Out there works incredible well. Totally integrated it does push alerts on jobs if they don't have you on the schedule it is completely integrated with Microsoft and Google's calendars If you need to Work this is the app. you need
I accepted a position early on 5/24 to start at 8am on 5/25. I received confirmation that I was scheduled for this assignment via both text and email. At 9:00 p.m. on 5/24, the night before I'm supposed to begin, to I enter the app to review the job specifics. It was off of my schedule. I emailed customer service and I was told I was removed due to over response. I did not receive any type of notification that I was removed from the job. I scheduled everything around that and passed up two other
Reached out to costumer service asking what happened and why I was getting so few jobs turns out they removed the skills of jobs that you select from when you install the app from my profile without notice. They sent me a page wanting me to tell them again which skills I had to update my map on their end. I feel this is poorly implemented and I should be able to add unskilled and labor work to my profile myself in order to see more jobs as I see fit.
Great way to pay bills. I was referred by a friend 🥰, and only need part time work, within 15mins of being on the app I was able to register, get verified, set up direct deposit and start a job that fits my schedule( the job was instant hire and starts tomorrow).Perfect!
This whole sign up application process is way too long and it's way too documentation unfriendly they need to go ahead and redo the whole app because it will turn away so many people it's luckily I didn't have anything better to do the day I filtered out now let's see what kind of jobs and payments we can get out of this app
background check issues. I've put in my info to try and progress to finish up my check, but the page just keeps loading and never proceeding to the next step (stuck on step 5). without this step, i can't sign up for shifts. bluecrew really needs to fix this technical issue with their app. Folks are trying to get to work.
If I could give the app a zero I would. I can't contact the supervisor of job site from app and support is great but this is something that shouldn't be an issue. It's important.
When I first downloaded the app & opened it there were lots of jobs available but soon as I turned in everything to start, the jobs disappeared and there is never any jobs available or it will be 1 bilingual job smdh. ⚓️🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾
App doesn't pay on time. On demand pay is a lie employer never clocked me in and out even if there was a code. Never provided. on this issue keep trying to get my paycheck right now. No response I'm done with this app and I hope no one uses it either. Please people never use this useless app.
I'm really impressed with the genuine ease of the initialsetup and completion. I have heard of difficulties encountered with other apps that offered similar service.
It was a nice experience to work with all the workers there it made time go by fast things were not stressful I really like being there thank you.
By far the #1 job app I've came across. Very easy to use, and most of all a great selection of jobs in my local area with top rated pay! If you need a job fast don't waste your time on Craigslist or even Google get connected with Bluecrew you won't regret it.
They have a great variety of shifts. It's a w2 platform not a 1099 platform. I think you'll like it.
Haven't gotten paid for hours worked almost a month ago. Been dealing with people over, and over telling me they need to investigate. A simple phone call would verify my hours. Poorly ran app, and a run around support. So thank you for nothing you useless app!
It's a terrible app I can't get any jobs on it it doesn't show me anything other than a blank screen
I have been working over 500+ jobs. Most of the jobs are fun and easy, but you do have some companies that you don't want to go back too. But let them know that it's not a fit and they will remove and you will be ready for another. Pay could be more but they stay with work. Kudos
It's a great app. Love the staff and the work is worth the time invested. Highly recommend it to anyone who may want to work.
So far so good. I just completed my first assignment. Even though it was just a walk-through... I am however excited to have the opportunity. I think the resume application needs updated, severely so, as I cannot upload my own resume and I feel as though the search engine should have some additional influence from the user side. Review anything before adding information to our accounts of course, but giving the option of elaboration is the whole point of a resume.
I like Bluecrew so much! I've been working over a month now, and have received my checks regularly. I would like to see an upgrade to the message center in the app that allows communication with the area manager. I open my message and if I do not respond at that exact moment, there is no way to reopen the message in the app. It disappears. I have learned to respond from my regular email. I do recommend this app.
At first they seemed really good to work for, but it took me too long to get paid! Like over a month. I am a very understanding person, but it really was nightmare to go that long without getting paid! It caused a domino effect....to say it's a good app would be putting a lot on it! After all I went through to get paid now like other users I haven't seen 1 job that is close to me! Only the same jobs that were there when I first loaded the app and still no work.....I may Uninstal the app.
Have been on the platform for a few years and have had mostly a positive experience on assignments. However, with the recent updates, I get offers and then as soon as I go into the app, a second later they are gone. Not sure what is causing the glitch. I also wish there were more offers actually in the city and not far in suburbs. The algorithms must be out of sync.
