Tested with Windows Xp / 7 / 8 / 10 PCs, Mercedes Comand OnLine, Toyota Touch&Go / Entune, Tom Tom Go/Rider, Clever GPS, BB Playbook
This "plus" version introduces the following enhancements:
- new implementation of UDP protocol for better supporting the VPN connections, in particular for Mercedes servers
- new option for automatic executing the service after the device restart
- the BlueDUN service is exported for controlling its execution from external applications
- specific port forwarding toward local applications [ allow external devices to access to custom app via TCP/IP over bluetooth]
- enable the local applications to control of external devices via TCP/IP over bluetooth
It doesn't work with some Motorola (Droid) / Sony (Xperia) / HTC devices due to firmware limitations.
Please test the trial version (it includes the same basic connection algorithms) before purchasing and contact me for any issue before writing negative comments; I can also refund you also after the 2 hours of testing period.
How to setup (only the first time):
- Remove the previous pairing between your devices
- Start the BlueDUN service, make the phone discoverable
- Create the new pairing
- Setup the DUN connection on the client device: don't care about phone number, account or dns because the app emulates only the modem behaviour but it sends/retrieves data to/from phone wifi/mobile connection!
In case of connection issues, please enable the "Logger" and "Log to File" options in the setting panel; go back and restart the service, try some connection attempts. Finally click the "Send Log files" option to send an email with generated log files.

I am very disappointed. I could not make the app work on my LG G8 Think. It never got past turning in the service. Each time I tried to turn it on, it turned off again. Needless to say I could not connect to Mercedes COMAND APS. I wrote to the developer and have had no reply and Google Play did not refund me. Not recommended.
Avoid. No actual support from the developer. It does work occasionally with MB comand, however on android 9 you have to keep the app open and screen unlocked to make it work (sadly not always). As you have to basically keep your phone in your hand - this makes this app useless.
First class app. Works properly. Device is connecting automatically. I can have connected car Bluetooth, Bluetooth speaker and navigation with BT DUN and everything is working.
It was great before Android 11. Now bluetooth stack has been redone, this app requires update. Right now fails to atart service on Android 11. Some reserved_uuids are told to be missing
Works for PalmOS flawlessly with my Note9 running Oreo over WiFi. Haven't tested LTE on TMobile but I have no doubt it will work!
The app terminates service whilst car configures data connection, what could be wrong?

Tried to get this to work with my 2014 mercedes on comand , but instuctions are vague and i could not get this to work no matter what i tried.
WASTE OF MONEY! Does Not work with MB Comand and later Android software. Hangs at early stage, suggested fix suggests making a 'ROOTED FIRMWARE UPDATE' to phone software - unbelievable, how did this ever get approved for sale on Play Store?

Disaster. Won't work on MB Audio 20 NTG5. Not worth.
Just installed it and sync it with my MB sometimes work sometimes when I try to browse the internet or apps show Access deny by internet provider.
This app did not work at all!! I kept on trying to connect with the MB system but it would not establish a connection!

Zero config and flawless functionality with my MB W204 NTG 4.5
Gives phone new functionality, can be difficult to understand the setup but there is lots of documentation elsewhere online. Regardless, it works great.

working just fine with CLS 2013 MB Command online
App is ceasing after 60 seconds inactivity even if the client is just indexing - SyncML typical. Two stars for fast - but til today useless - response from Mirko.
Just had to say that I had tried everything to pair bluetooth from a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to Lexus connected services and failed (seems the phone too new for the car, as it doesn't have DUN profile) . BlueDun worked a dream first time, and continues to. I recommend it 100%. Just one question - I have to manually stop the app running on the phone when I leave the car. Is there a way to automate this, or is this correct? Thanks so much for a magical app !
