This would have been five stars but for recent events. This is an otherwise excellent tool, works as it was designed to work, and does (mostly) what it says on the tin. However, in the last month, DMR+ in the UK has changed to an IPSC2 server format, which is incompatible with the current version of BlueDV, as you cannot manually update of change server addresses in the server list on BlueDV. For all other modes and the Brandmeister DMR network, this is an excellent tool. It'll be an outstanding tool when they fix the IPSC2 issue.
I have been using this app to connect to the digital reflector Ref 0072D to send the pictures in the DV mode every Wed during the DSTAR picture net. Pictures can be transmitted in the Fast or Slow mode. The Fast mode is 3.5 times faster which makes a difference when using a repeater with a timeout.. BlueDV works very well in the Fast mode compare to the other MMDVM hotshots. Unfortunately it does stop working after transiting a picture, and then keeps stopping & disconnecting.
Overall a great app, the app definitely performs better on devices with better specifications, I found it stutters on some older devices but totally as I expected but thought I would experiment a little. Not sure how often the host files are updated as I found some newer XRF reflectors missing or is there a way to force the host files to update?
An excellent application which I used regularly until recently when DMR+ UK changed to IPSC2 format . I see there has been an AMBE version released recently so I hope there is an update to this version soon or my DVMega Bluestack will become just a paperweight and I will have to consider other options which I don't want to do.
Easy to use and updated regularly. Great for those that can't get radio or antennas at their apartments. Have fun and enjoy ham radio with this easy to use app.
Can't use on PhoenixF as not in the DMR+ Master list and HostFile and can't be updated by the user. Edit: thanks but I can't find anywhere on the net listing the manual settings and gave up after an hour of trying to guess them.

Disconnects when screen shut off, but well stay connected when screen is on don't know why been having this issue for a while now hoping for a fix
While there could be improvements, I love this app. Great work, and I appreciate all the time spent. If I had a wish, I wish the LH would also show the TG , as I often have multiple TG's static on my hot spot. I now have a radio that will show me the LH with TG, but it'd be nice to have on this app too. Thank you!

UDATE YOUR DVMEGA TO FIRMWARE 3.17 IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!!! Excellent app for interfacing with a bluestack and dvmega board for mobile DMR and other modes. Awesome software that's constantly being updated and features/ bugfixes being done.
Simply works. Does what it's supposed to do. No crashing issues.
Great app. Even better since it was recently updated with the ability to work in the background, even when the screen is off!
The app works fairly well. But even when the audio device is specified as Speaker in the settings, it activates a never ending Call stream and I no longer receive sound notifications. The only fix is to reboot the phone as even force closing the app makes it still persist. I like the ability to have digital communication with my phone connected to an AMBEserver. Voice quality is excellent.
