Bluelight Filter - Night Mode

Have used this for a long time but after updating my phone, I now can't use my screen with it on. Touchscreen stops working when I turn the filter on.

Used to be very good, but recently it has started to turn itself on and off once or twice every minute, and creating a notification reach time it does. It's become to annoying, so I'm uninstalling it and may try again in the future. This issue seems only to affect the version on my phone. The version on my tablet continues to work well.

It's simple, but it doesn't really work. If you start it in vertical mode then switch to landscape, only half of your screen will be filtered and the other one will be lit normally. So that's a deal breaker. It's not the good kind of simple either - there are no timers to turn it off or on automatically. And still it wants to know which apps I'm using and where I'm located.

Been using this app for a long time and loved it but after recent update it is filled with ads! No improvement to app just annoying ads that you have to click away to continue to app. Was okay enough with that but now the ads become full screen and there's literally no option to continue to app or close them. So basically I can't use the app. I tried closing and reopening the app but the ads just came back full screen and couldn't use the app. Installing a different one and uninstalling asap.

I've used this app since 2019 and it was pretty good! But now it's completely unusable; I can't touch the screen when this filter is turned on. Goodbye old friend ig...

Compared to similar apps, this one is the pits. Extremely basic. It's got a color adjuster and a timer and that's it. You can't make multiple profiles, you can't make schedules, you can't adjust the dimness. The only thing I liked was how easy it was to turn on and off with the toggle switch. Try the one that has a gray and orange circle icon.

Didn't work for me. Too simplistic (no schedule) and I couldn't use my phone when it was on? Very strange. Also had lots of ads

I have DOWNGRADED my rating from 4* down to 3* because I am fed up with this app closing itself down. None of the rare updates have rectified this issue. In fact it has got much worse gradually over time, it now happens more frequently. When it shuts down my phones standard brightness settings reactivate which is far too bright for me. I have to stop whatever I'm doing and go into the Bluelight Filter app for it to put the filter settings back to normal. I will be looking for an alternative app.

Much too basic. It doesn't have many options and doesn't have a time setter to set the times it will come on n and off. Worst part, when I exited with the tint on I couldn't click on apps or type! I couldn't uninstall the app or turn the tint off too.. Luckily powering off and then on the phone worked.

I'd give it a 5 star if it could also affect the navigation bar and the banner bar. The brightness of those parts of the screen remain unchanged and there's no setting to get around this. Also there's no timer feature. Got plenty of continuous ads though.

It's great, allows phone brightness to go below minimum brightness which is perfect for night time indoors. Only way it could be improved is with some form of button press short cut to switch on and off without swiping the shortcut bar at the top of the screen which is not even an issue at all.

While color shading works well it always messes with my screen touch for multiple apps.

It's very good. I would just say that the app needs a bit more tweaking. When I use YouTube and then turn on the blue light filter, it often turns off. However if I leave YouTube, it turns back on. It's quite inconvenient...

I don't like how I have manually open to close the app. There should be a swipe release function in the notification bar - I want to be able to pull it down & use quick settings) such as intensity brightness, colour filter & basic on+off option. I will be more than happy to give 5 stars once this is done. I gave 1 star for another reason.. I don't like the app bugging me all the time to rate it.

I have been looking for a blue light filter for a long time. The light on the screen has been hurting my eyes and having increasing problems with my vision. I tried many and didnt like them. Then I found this one. It is easy on my eyes and can read again. It was perfect and I didnt even need to change settings. My eyes stopped hurting. This is the best one. I wish I could put it on my laptop. I would reccomend it to everyone. It is great. Thank you for making this app.

I really like this app as it helps my eyes at night. However, i am not giving a 5 stars because in certain apps (like webtoon), it just stops working after a few minutes I'm on the app. It is not really nice to have the screen suddenly get bright when i already have started to feel sleepy.

This app continues to save my eyesight. I usually have the filter strength on at least 50% in black. I keep it on 24/7 unless another app requires me to turn it off because of permission conflicts (how dare they!?). Definitely my favorite app on my phone!

I dont give it the permission it begs for and it still works! If the ads were cached, it would load faster. The only thing i wish it could do is turn on and of on a schedule and when watching videos (eg netflix) by itself

Best app ever! Takes the strain out of my eyes and makes everything way more tolerable to view . RockStars!!

it keeps turning on and off... the on and off hurts my eyes more than when I would normaly have no filter on in the first place..... others are saying this too, you should probably fix it soon if you're not already... other than that, the filter is pretty good (other than sudden on and off)

I keep this on all the time now. I sleep better at night when I have to use my phone before bed. Also, my eyes and head are much less tense than they were before the app. Everyone needs a blue light filter.

Simple and effective. Could be easier to turn on and off. Could use a timer as well. It doesn't ask for access to all your stuff or anything else annoying though. Not bad.

Love the simplicity, just an on/off. Others have auto on off, ok if Im not sorting photos that are redish after 9pm. Turning the auto ones off is less easy.

Filter is fine, but app has no options for schedule. Also does dim all of my screen, though that could be because of the phone I have, not the app.

well trying a different eye filter now to the one that i had before(as wasn't working good,(but so far this one seems okay so far)(and simple to use)but don't like the icon as it's just a white square box looking (but see how it goes)thanks

It's good. It's serving its purpose but it blocks all the Play Store buttons! If Play Store buttons are not working, simply turn night mode off. Thanks to some dudes comment on YouTube!

I used to love this app and use it all the time, but now it makes my phone becomes unresponsive when I turn it on I'm really sad because it was my favorite blue light app 😢

Difficult to read when filter is on. But achieves it's purpose of having part with n'y device and get a decent night sleep.

Randomly turns off and doesn't filter the keyboard, but filters your notifications bar, best one out there but just keeps turning off for me
