Getting error on password reset. It kept giving invalid credentials even though my phone saved the password. Password reset link provides an error when I select it. Now the app gets an error when I try to reset again. "There was an error, try again later". I think thr app is having issues. Having this same issue today. Thanks
This is the second time the app stopped working. It keeps saying unable to login with provider credentials and doesn't even send the link to reset the password. I emailed support but no response from them either.
Had a small amount of trouble getting the unit to sync with wifi. They have very helpful and knowledgeable customer support. The app actually is easier to adjust the units than the units themselves.
App tells me my login is invalid. It's been the same for the prior years I have had this thermostat. Nothing has changed. I can login on the website, other phone, just not the app on my galaxy s20 ultra any more. It worked a month ago and now it doesn't. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, cleared data etc with no luck.
I haven't been able to log in to the app. I have had it for 3 years and it tells me my credentials are invalid eventhough the email and password are saved in my phone. When i try to reset my password it does not send me a reset link. When I try to create a new account, it won't take the thermostat's serial number. I am unable to get in. How do I fix this? I already Uninstalled the app and re-installed it.
I cannot get passed the register screen without it popping up "this field is required 3x" in a yellow block with red font. I am unable to move forward. It works now and the final download even took less than 20 minutes. Changing the settings daily is another thing. So far, so good. I am able to see current temperature and programs, which I will update later. Just glad the app is working.
The app is all workable. The schedule feature is a little clunky but you can figure it out fairly quickly. The Honeywell app was a little more intuitive but this one works. The only odd quirk is that it automatically flips in your phone instead of working in portrait mode. Not sure the point of that point but it's only slightly annoying.
App works well. Much easier to set a schedule with an app than the the actual device. Cheking an changing temp is easy. Like getting notifications to change filter. The only things i don't like is that it is only in landscape mode and you have to log back in every time screen turns off (I have mine set to 15 sec).
I cannot log into the mobile app due to today's update. Keeps saying that my credentials are invalid, which is not correct. I am able to log in via desktop; however, functionality is limited.
This app worked real good. Was nice to turn my heater or AC on before I got home. Lately I've been having a lot of problems with it connecting
Very nice to be able to manage ot anywhere you go, however ot does disconnect a few times from the Wi-Fi.
Installed, registered, and managed to connect to wifi. But for some reason, my app is missing tons of features? The entire bottom row of icons is absent. Can only set a "holiday schedule", but have no option to set up my default weekly schedule. Was trying to avoid manually inputting into the thermostat. Also tried downloading on my ipad in case it was an android issue, but it looks the same on both devices:/
A few problems when a phone update was sent out. After that, it has worked great from near or far.
Good smart thermostat but no scheduled temperature setting, unless I am doing it wrong. I can only set the fan to auto or circulate. There is a calendar symbol that appears but is not accessible to me. No idea what 'geofencing' is worth - I want access to a weekly calendar so that I can set a temp schedule.
UPDATED 1/18/2022 - After the developer's response that they issued another update to fix this problem, the app works again. Updating rating to 4stars. After update on 1/14/2022, now app won't recognize my user & password info! Worked fine before update.
after my update to android12 on my Samsung ZFold3 I can no longer log into the app. However no issues on my Galaxy S21 Ultra. Whats going on with this app. I tried uninstalling it reinstalling no difference
App stopped working in January 2022. App works on ipad but not on Android. Thank you. It's working again. Happy!
Love the app and it works well. My only issue has been setting time in MST (Phoenix no daylight savings). Once that was fixed no more issues. I'd like more flexibility in the number of schedules that can be set. I have found no way to reduce from 4 which cause input of extra unnecessary info.
I had to lower this review to 1 star, the app is buggy, with a poorly thought out user experience. It takes several attempts to make simple changes to update my heating schedule, which only seems to let me set a heating or cooling temp with no way to tell it to simply do nothing. Honestly if you aren't forced to use this device you should consider alternatives until there are major fixes. To the dev team i want to believe in you, but right now the interface/functionality need too much work.
After having the nest thermostat I absolutely hate this thermostat and it's app everything has to be done twice for it to take a command. First off you have to log in to the app then log into the thermostat then to change the temperature you have to arrow up or down then hit enter then hit okay why not just bump it up and be done with it. Oh and another thing it won't let me enter a schedule it will only allow geomaping I hate it!!
Website is unreachable, and app can not be logged into. Can't even use the forgot password option to reset me password.
Garbage. Wifi connections drop will not auto connect. Very hard to if not impossible to manually connect. Need magnifying glass to read additional connect instructions and yes settings on phone and router are correct. .would ne nice if all app settings and features were available via pc and not just via phone.
works great. Does what it's supposed to do. I had some trouble getting it to reconnect after multiple power outages repeatedly knocked it offline a while ago but once I got it back online it has performed perfectly. I am very satisfied.
This is a great app with a really good and easy to use programmable thermostat, the support is excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone even to replace a working thermostat, the flexibility is great.
Every time I minimize the app to do the a tions it requires it asks me to sign back in and fails every time. Have to redownload the app to sign back in go through it's steps and have to minimize to follow instructions it logs me out and won't let me log back in "no redord of these credentials" or something and I have to uninstall the app to let it log me back in.Has to be used horizontal, so the keyboards always getting in the way. POS App, wouldnt recommend the app or the thermostat replacing.
After resolving a minor glitch in the programming, the app is working fine. Tech support was most helpful in identifying the need to remove the thermostat batteries in order to allow the thing to reset thereby allowing it to be programmed correctly. Battery removal for thermostat reset is not included in the thermostat instructions.
I've only had it since January and it loses connection alot. It also sounds like they have some kind of outage right now so the app is unusable. I like it when it works but it's been down for far too long. Also there is no way to get help on the app. I had to come read reviews to figure out they are having problem
