Bluestar Taxis

It's a decent app, but i don't like the fact with the new update you have to pay a hold of over £12 which you have to wait over 24 hours or more to get it back. Should be as it was before.

Something needs to be done about the unavailable for bookings, I understand it gets busy however it still denies you the ability to book in advance regardless of how far you book it, I feel this is a serious problem as It makes it difficult to book in advance just because it's busy at the very moment.

Pros: Can sometimes get a good driver who has a clean taxi and follows government guidelines however that is few and far between. Cons: You are very unlikely to get a taxi around 12pm or 4pm or if you do it's sometimes an hour or more wait. Most of their drivers are either not following government guidelines with regards to masks or have a really dirty taxi. The app itself can be very finicky and fail to work. Overall this taxi service is mediocre at best and useless at worst just use uber.

Terrible parked half way down the road from us. Could see via GPS this was the case. Walked towards the driver waved and he drove off. Rang up got told it was our mistake and it was in black and white, Sorry but it wasn't we were in the same place the taxi was up the road according to your app. The driver drove passed us. Person on the phone was pathetic and unprofessional. This wasn't a drunk person complaining. The app isn't fit for purpose and the staff are terrible.

Two bad experiences now. One taxi didn't turn up, waiting ages outside. Called to be told he has been and left cause I wasn't there- yet was waiting outside and meant to receive a text which I didn't And now late for work because the taxi has said 1 min away for ages, and not moved from the same spot on the map... It then went to 4 mins away... call up it says 6 minutes away. Ended up cancelling. Late for work now.

Really disappointed with these taxis. I never used to have issues and was a regular customer. Lately they are turning up very late and then today I had a important appointment booked which I pre booked with them 2 hours before and they turned up half an hour late . Taxi driver spent 10 mins driving around in circles at top of my street. Couldn't attend my appointment because they was so late. They was the same last week even though I pre book them so this doesnt happen and it still does !!!

Absolutely pathetic!! Never taxis available when you need one. If you do miraculously manage to obtain one it always arrives late. Then when you ring to find out where it is you end up speaking to the most obnoxiously rude staff ever to be employed in history who do nothing but lie. Wont be using EVER AGAIN!! 🤬

Travelled twice today using the app, one booked a few hours in advance and one straight away and both turned up on time and quickly. Couldn't fault the service

Shocking really. I always pre book my taxis but yet there still always late! It's now 10 minutes after pick up time and the taxi isn't even on its way! This happens everytime! Wont be using bluestar ever again!

Bluestar is the best taxi services in Wigan very helpful people good price very lovely people the taxi driver are very lovely to you and the friendly staff I am very happy with bluestar everybody if you need a taxi bluestar is the one very good taxis I love the bluestar people that are all really nice people everybody is nice at bluestar

East to use app and always really quick and cheap too. Uber has got no chance in Wigan with these guys about.

Booked a taxi the day before for 8:05am. Turned up half an hour late making my girlfriend late for work. When I tried to enquire as to where it was the woman on the phone was a cocky rude mong. Told me that she had one clearing in Hindley in a few mins then I went back on the app to find one was being sent from Wigan to arrive another 10 mins later than I was told. Do not use bluestar they are pathetic.

Very reliable and friendly staff couldn't ask for a better taxi service

Fifth time they were over 45 minutes late picking me up from airport! I wont use again. Uber it is.

Disqusting... Ordered taxi saying is on its way only to find out it was cancelled and STILL CHARGED 1 POUND FOR BOOKING.... Removed the app the very next morning...

Would be useful if you were actually able to book a taxi on it

Easy to use app neverhad a problem been using the app about 8 months

Taxi didnt turn up, gps tracker showed him on the wrong estate, rang up to query it, phone operator told me i was lying and that hes outside my house as we speak. Offered no assitance other than that i was lying.

wont even send the confirmation code. useless

Staff accept no blame for racist drivers and say that "if we got you from A to B, then we aren't accountable for anything." Their customer service is terrible and they don't sanitise the cabs between customers. Horrible company.

Racist cab drivers who will make you uncomfortable for the whole ride. I made a complaint and there was no apology or compensation from management. Plus, no cleaning/sanitation between customers during a global pandemic and a cab driver laughing at me when I say I can't wear a face mask due to a medical condition. Deeply disturbing and traumatic racist experience.

Has gone to the wrong address a few times or just hasn't turned up. Somehow I just can't get the right address in Shevington only reinstalled so I could give a review image to scared to use it now
