Bluetooth Connect & Stop Play

Does your music start playing automatically when Bluetooth connects and you want that to stop. This app will get triggered on Bluetooth connect and attempt to stop any of the running music apps. They may get started before it stops them, but it tries multiple times to put them down.
Give me feedback, would love to improve it, but don't know how popular this feature would be.
Instructions:1. Install the app2. Ensure the On/Off Toggle is set to ON3. If you want to test..start playing the music player that you want stopped, Press the TEST button. That music player should stop playing.4. When Bluetooth connects, this app will automatically be triggered and attempt to stop the music player up to around 6 seconds of trying. 5. Ideally, there's a way to stop the control from triggering at all, but I haven't found it yet.

Cool app. Works most of the time. My only complaint is that on my Moto X 2014 it launches my ESPN app (maybe first alphabetical media app?) in my tray when the bluetooth connects. It did the same with the other Bluetooth Play Action app. If anything I'd like it to open Play Music in my tray with my last song cued up. If there were a way to designate a default player in the app, I'd add the 5th star. :) Thanks!
I had to uninstall it as it randomly pauses my music and it's not connected to any Bluetooth devices. I just have a headset plugged in wired and I have to pull my phone out of my pocket to resume play very irritated please fix
Galaxy S7 Edge. Works, but after a phone call across blue tooth, music starts again and does not stop.
The Play Music app still starts and sometimes plays for a second when Bluetooth connects. Then it gets paused. It is not this app's fault, and it is better than nothing, but it's more of a bandaid than a fix.
Works the first time. However after any call music starts again. I make/receive many phone calls on the road, so it didn't really help me
It keeps the music from playing when I get in my car, which is what it's supposed to do. I wish we could set it up to trigger upon connecting to a specific Bluetooth device, because it tends to pause the music when you don't want it to. I also get apparently random toast messages saying "Music should be off."
Fed up with battery drain from music playing automatically when you connect to Bluetooth in your car, then this is the app for you!
Worked pretty good prior to the update, but not working anymore. Hoping this will be an easy fix for the dev. You think they would have this feature by default in the OS.
It was driving me nuts Thankyou this issue is prevalent with all smartphones those who know say it is the car software iPhone Android it's happens with all.
Does not work on HTC M8. The test works but that's it.
This app works for preventing my Honda Accord's crappy Bluetooth system from blasting music 30 seconds after I start the engine. Thank you! I gladly donated through the app.
Doesn't always work, but I'd say 75% of the time it does its job.

i love this app and i really hate default samsung auto music and im fed up of listening to it whenever i srart my car or afteri receive or make call.
Works better at stopping than connect and play :D

First the app works exactly as described and designed, when I get in the car music doesn't start playing which for me is a welcome relief. However after a phone call ends (while in the car) music does start playing so I either need this app enhanced further, or to find another solution for that.
My 2012 VY GTI insisted on telling my stock 4.4 Nexus 4 to play music from Google Music when the phone connected to the car. Even if I turned off the Media setting in the bluetooth profile, and the car... If my phone wasn't muted, I'd start hearing the music eminating from my pocket a few seconds after connecting... This app stops it. No more autoplay!! Simple, effective, efficient, great app!
Thank you so much for making this! I read another review that asked for something to prevent music after a phone call, and I would appreciate that as well. I love that things auto-play when I'm by myself, but when someone else gets in my car, it's such a pain to dig out my phone and shut music off! So an additional option for prevent music autoplay after phone calls would be welcome! Thanks again!
A useful solution to what shouldn't be a problem. There's no logical reason why there's no Android setting to say don't autoplay on connect, so we need third party apps to do it. Sadly, this one overdoes it. It'll keep shutting off your music long after the Bluetooth connection is made, not just initially. Sometimes 5 minutes later, sometimes repeatedly every time you hit play. Avoid!
