Bluetooth GPS Output

you know that guy that made that app on an app store for maybe a hundred people on Earth? Well this is that application. You know what I have looked far and wide and it seems that only a few people do this with their phones and maybe some tablets that have laying around. ---- what this does is take an active GPS signal and sends it out over Bluetooth to your other devices and allows you to use things such as speedometers and other items that require Bluetooth GPS data. ---really cool stuff.

Thanks Meowsbox, very cool. Using this to make my car's head unit GPS accurate and responsive (existing module is laggy and provides late directions). Haven't got the headunit to play nice yet, but I've tested this between two android phones and it works a treat - definitely recommend getting a full license, it's only a few dollars.

Works great in Android 10, once the phone was updated to 11 I can't select it to be allowed to run in the background. So it only works with the screen on and this app in the foreground.

Be aware that it is not working with Mac systems. They apologize for the trouble and are asking you to wait for the updates. I installed only for that feature. No idea if this one works with android. Also this is a free version that has limitations. So no experience using this and connecting to an Android device

This app is very useful but recently it only send the GPS data over blue-tooth WHEN the app is OPEN - It used to do it all the time, basically running it in the background. There used to be a permission saying "all the time" and now I only see "while using this app" - Can this be fixed or put back the way it was?

Does what it say. Perfect for use with Windows 10 and other android devices. Not sure about the 4 updates in the last week but it's working like before with a nice UI.

does not work. I paid and even so it does not share and not even give you option to configure ports. useless. (after your answer) Thank you but I already intalled gps tether and it was simple, easy and working so far so good.

Never connects with Bluetooth. Counting on Bluetooth for gps isn't a good idea. Wasted $

Integrates easily with Windows 10 Maps Pro and Google Earth Pro. It's a great GPS antenna solution for these apps. Please add absolute elevation to the Bluetooth GPS display.

It worked once. Paid for the app still doesn't work. Every time it connects the SPP slave com port is the outgoing not the incoming.

V2 version was simpler and less annoying. V3 works but the interface is now awful and mostly pointless after first use.

Installed on my Android Mi8 Pro and connects very easily with my Windows 10 laptop to feed locational data in to QGiS. Does what it says on the tin. Thumbs up from me.

This app allows me to interface my phone's GPS with software applications that accept GPS data via serial port. Very useful for ham radio operators!

V3 no longer properly reports heading to jeppesen flitedeck. Reverted to V2 with good support. Heading works again..

Unfortunately it does not work with all application, for example: AgriBus-NAVI does not recognize GPS data provided by the Bluetooth GPS Provider as internal GNSS\GPS : (..

good app, saw a YouTube video that used this one and another app to grt GPS working on an Amazon Fire HD8 tablet. It worked!

dissapointed. app don't transmit nothing to com port terminal, but other app (can't write it here) do it well.

does what it says have my phone linked up to my laptop via built in Bluetooth useing GRLevel3 Radar for storm chasing "Storm Spotting" saved me $40 from buying a GPS receaver

Unreal, literally had to Uninstall just to get it to stop - this was AFTER it blinked my screen with a naggggg after 5 minutes -

Works perfectly, connects to my car android pc and gives it GPS via BT 10/10

Connected first time used blue tooth GPS on receiver tablet android 4.2.2 and transmission android a galaxy mini 3 on Android 4.1.1

Easy to use, fair price for a single license. Works great.
