Bluetooth LE Scanner
I allows you to scan and obtain information about Low Energy Bluetooth Devices in your vicinity.
The library allows for easy access to a Bluetooth LE device's Advertisement Records.It also offers:
* A simple running average RSSI reading keeping.
* For iBeacons: Manufacturer data record parser.
* For iBeacons: Distance indicators (Near, Far, Immediate, Unknown).
* For iBeacons: A decently inaccurate (due to real world issues) distance approximation.
* All the new object types are Parcelable.
This will only work on Android 4.3 (API Level 18).

Found my Fitbit Flex2. Had to persevere as the Fitbit does not broadcast very often. Signal level helped me narrow down where to search.

Don't bother if you're trying to look for your fitness band or UE Megabooms. I had the two things right next to my phone as it scanned, it cannot find it. Great if it works for you but for now i suggest don't lost your stuff.

Great app. The developer was very quick to fix a bug for 5.0 OS phones that appeared in a recent update.
This app helped me find my fitbit in my house when I noticed it wasn't on my wrist (the band broke).
This one actually works! I was able to pull the serial number out of the device. Thanks!
Does what it says. And that is it. It finds BLE signal. That's all needed. With band strength. Excellent app. Small and simple.

Actualy it solved a problem which i never expected from it i have a boombot mini speaker which keep disconnecting from my infocus m535 android 6 and yep after scanning through it and connecting it solved my problem thanks dev

Couldn't sync my fitbit charge and S4. Read a post on the forums to DL this app and it worked like a charm.
Nice. Clean interface, a nice set of feature (although I can think of some more) and reliable. It is a real 'tool' giving raw yet helpful information and doesn't drain your resources. I'd like some list sorting (on distance, perhaps ids, next to the name of course). Not sure how the running average RSSI (useful!) works though...
IMO this app beats BLE Scanner in interface design and features. One big problem I had as a peripheral developer with BLE Scanner was the lack of viewing AD packets. Bluetooth LE Scanner does that and provides a much better interface for viewing characteristics. Best BLE utility app I've used so far.
It just works. The kind of app you tell your friends about when they misplace their stuff. This thing seriously just made me happy. How many utility apps for that? Too bad they haven't updated in a few years. It maay be on its last legs.
I have been using this app to scan BLE devices, but it didn't work anymore after upgrading to Android 6 on my Nexus 5.
Just worked. Several other apps were just sending LL_CHANNEL_MAP_REQ and never read the services and characteristics available.
Great app especially the export feature. Is there a way to prevent the list from clearing? It seems to clear itself periodically even if in the foreground.
