It's great to see a new app out there for this. I managed to crash it, however, and throw it on a loop of not being able to open after setting my font to 7.5. Was trying to fit the text to my screen width, but not a deal breaker by any means. What I would love to see in a future update would be settings to toggle the on screen buttons to hide them and/or set the placement yourself. Just a thought. I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks for a mu* app that I prefer over the others.
Would be decent expect the obnoxious blue buttons don't have an off switch for some reason. They're right in the middle of the screen.
Another awesome MUD client. Nice picture of a castle as well that adds to the experience. Thank you!!!
Oh and an option to remove buttons from screen. They mess with ya sometimes if you're not using them.
its good and all but everything keeps apearing twice how can i stop that
Terrible and unusable on Android 11. π€¬
No ssl support, get with the times
Great little app for on the go, just a few issues with it, the main one being a crash and consecutive launch failures after setting the font size to a non-integer value. Aside from that, more than serviceable. I'd like to be able to turn the buttons off, but the quick access commands are lovely to use.
Responsive and the developer is great, quickly releasing patches for issues. A few bugs that I hope will be fixed. Really happy to see an active development android MUDβ client. Half a year later, my 5 star review stands. What a wonderful app!
This app is grest. I have much confidence that itll soon take over blowtorch and honestly its about time somebody did. But there are some things that need to be added in before it has that chance, and I realize its still in development but it's missing a few semi fundamental things for a client. The things it needs to get a 5* from me is at the least timers and finish the alias section. Alias isnt much of a problem for me right now since i can set them in my mud but timers would surely help. Also it would be nice to be able to move/configure the layout of the hotkeys. It's definitely on its way though. Released lol over a year ago and last update was about 4 months ago from me posting this which is when i started using it. Seems to have better stability and connection than blowtorch as well. Although I do occasionally get stuck at the startup screen unable to connect (very seldomly i have to restart my phone for this) or have it produce a double line effect when attempting to connect to my game. But backing out of the game and clearing it out of my recent programs usually fixes both of those problems so not a big deal atm. Id say that it is still a second to blowtorch just for not yet having the alias system (they are adding it currently) and no timer system. But at the same time i use this and not blowtorch so what does that really tell you. π€·π½
Not a bad little client. Only real complaint is it currently only stores connection info for one MUD at a time. Having a list of my faves to choose from would be nice. A logging function would be cool but not necessary.
Great client but I get a blank line after every line which ruins the experience. Please add an option to remove this extra line break after every line.
It's "ok". If you could faithfully save more than one game world at a time and have the keyboard not block the entire screen when screen flips, it would easily recieve a four or five star review instead of just a π π π one.
Client doesn't have 256 color support sometime causing artifacts in form of numbers. Really like the layout. Has a lot of potential and will keep watching.
Huge unnecessary line spacing that can't be changed
I like this app but now and then I get those random numbers poping up the numbers 0;37;40m disrupt the gameplay, maps and conversations quite a bit
I really like it, it works great! The one problem that I have is that it repeats lines twice, for some reason.
Programming a command stacking function and getting those buttons more customizable would go a long way to setting this app far ahead of other mobile platforms. Good luck! Looks great so far
I misunderstood the UI , typing user cmds is available, I didn't notice the space between arrows. but not versatile enough. Hope that developers could add timer and multiple trigger like gag and highlight
Pretty good, the buttons are really useful for moving around and for simple commands. Only problem is '1m' keeps appearing at random places on the screen. It messes up some maps and makes it disorienting. Is there any way to fix that?
Definitely enjoy this client, it's snappy and just works. I have some display issues with a MUD I use regularly but have to play around with the encoding to see if I can remedy that. There is obvious room for continued features and development, but what is here is fantastic and I recommend it highly.
Its almost great. Wish it had the capability for multiple connections.... is there a way to keep from idling out on this thing?
Needs lots of work, but has the potential to be the best client out there with a little extra work. The main missing features are a notification keeping the app running while ingame, and saving addresses.
Crashes immediately after entering account name, as I'm being prompted for password (Forgotten Kingdoms MUD). EDIT: I'm using the same connection information that BHA Systems (the app author) is using, on a Google Pixel phone. It seems my phone may be partially at fault, as the author has no issues connecting on his own phone.
Nice looking, stable, and responsive, will be great with trigger support
it's too big... otherwise it's ok, I guess... but it's about twice as big as it could/should be...
Simple and effective.
Not sure why you can only pull up the side screens like options, by swiping at the corners. 9 times out of 10 you are going to exit out the client and have to restart. There should be buttons to navigate. Even when you figure it out, in the heat of the moment you can still exit the game. Also only one game world can be saved. Giving it two stars for now. Needs work, but at least it can connect to games.
