Board Game Companion
Generally this app contains three different tools for you:1. Choose Game: Here you can browse your collection with various filters and orderings in order to find the best game for various number of players, limited time, wanted complexity etc. My algorithm will then find the game in the collection who matches the requirements best.
2. Challenges: The popular concept of a 10x10 Challenge from BGG is to play 10 specific games 10 times each during the year. With this tool it is simpler to log than ever. Here you simply find the games you want in the challenge and it will automatically update with your logged plays on BGG or manually in the app if you want to.
Other challenges like the Alphabet Challenge, New Games Challenge and Collection Challenge are also available, which can be totally automated based on your logged BGG plays.
3. Collection: A simple way of browsing your collection and note down if you have lend a game to a friend.
In settings you have many options to adapt the app to your liking and as an avid board game player I will continue to adapt the app from your feedback :)

Crashes when attempting to open challenge option. I have a large number of games in my collection, maybe that's the issue.
It used to work well, but there are some issues with the challenges mode (shuts down) that need to be dealt with for it to be useful again.
It is a cool idea to be able to log games from my phone, but it crashes after I started a "new game challenge"
If the app would not shut down everytime I go to challenges it would be great, till then not very good
2/16 update -- it's not loading my collection again. This is frustrating. Deleted and reinstalled. Nothing works. It was a great app and I would have rated it a 5 if it still worked. What happened? It absolutely will not load my collection anymore :( UPDATE: seems like the bugs are fixed now and it's been working. So like I said I upgraded my rating. Hopefully it keeps working!
Nice app to view my collection but it crashes every time I open the Collection Challenge
The app is buggy, the sync is abysmal......someone, someplace needs to make a real database for board games.
If it worked, it would be great and exactly what I'm looking for. However, what I really wanted it for was the ability to create challenges and it crashes every time I try to open a challenge.
Anyone else notice that "W" is missing from the Alphabet challenge. Kinda important I'd think.
Update: It seems that the dev has promptly fixed the crashing problem and this has once again become my favorite game collection app.
I really like this app but would also love the ability to save my challenges to sync them up with my tablet too. Maybe a cloud sync would be nice. There also seems to be a problem with the first time plays challenge. It constantly generates a list of games I have already played instead of games that I've never played. I would rate this much higher if these two things were integrated and fixed.
Every time I open challenges. Has promise but can't get to work on galaxy s6
Immediately upon creating or entering the tab of a 50 new games challenge. Also my 10x10 challenge won't auto update with my already played games this year. The collect challenge and alphabetical challenge works fine though. Edit: Collection challenge immediately crashes the app now.
A must have for BGG users! Suggestions include a percent complete on the challenges and an option to randomize weighted towards unplayed games. Since yesterday, I can't get the app to start. It crashes on start up!
I just installed the app, and it crashes as soon as it opens.
Please include an A-Z in the results.of any search. Also the game.length doesn't seem to make any difference. Still love it, thanks.

What a great and useful app
For some reason I can't filter the required mechanics or categories. It just shows up as a blank pull down menu. Also, the thumbnails of the games don't appear.
I absolutely love this app and how easy it is to use. I mainly use it to easily identify categories/ mechanics of games I own and this is the best app I've found for that purpose! However, I wish there was a way to also use the app for games on my wishlist/ games I want to play so I can easily compare my planned purchases and avoid buying games of the same type over and over. for me, this feature would make it a 5-star app :).
