Very nice, clean design. Makes it easy to know exactly what I'm looking at, and I appreciate the ability to link games directly from BGG. That being said, I'd love the ability to add labels to the games in my collection to further categorize them. I mainly want this so I can filter out expansions from the rest of my collection, but it could also be used for type of game, number of players, or other similar filters. If it had this, I'd give 5/5. EDIT: Updated! Thanks!
Good intentions but not that impressed. Lacking in documentation and usability. Update: Gets improvements all the time. Rating upped.
Superb! I only wish there were an option called "play a random game you own". :) It would help with tough decisions sometimes :)
This app is great and comes in handy, but be aware that on top of paying for it, many feature(that really should just be included) are still behind an IAP paywall.
I used to log my plays on BGG mobile and I've never looked back since downloading this app. Intuitive, quick, you can select roles/colors and nothing like looking at those hot hot win stats. I just wish that you could save and select Team names as easily as you can player roles.
I love seeing the stats. It's great to know when someone is oddly good with a specific combination or similar.
I have been using this for a few years now. The information it compiles is staggering. The developer continues to update and add things on a very regular basis. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
I really like the UI of the game but I've stopped using it after a few days because I really miss the itemized score lists for games such as Wingspan and Everdell that Scorepal offers, and that one is free (much worse UI, though). Any chance BG Stats will add this feature any time soon?
Since adding ability to log expansions within the base game, it now does everything I want. And the developer is incredibly responsive when you run into any issues.
Love the app, wish it had a random game picker from your collection for those hard to choose occasions.
Amazing Board Game Tracker. App can be as detailed as you want it to be. The more detailed you are, the more intricate your stats become. Not a fan of the in-app purchases for a paid app, but still purchased the detailed stats anyway. It's the best, easiest and most detailed board game tracker out there. One thing I can't figure out how to do is assign scenarios/roles chosen for variable games, like aeons end. And, I wish we could rate the games in the app. Other than that. It's perfect.
Clear and enjoyable way to record game plays. BGG integration is smooth and easy to use, and the charts are fun. My only fault is that there is no way to record a solo 'beat your own score' style game without registering it as a win, loss, or clicking 'ignore for statistics', which isn't ideal if you're into this kind of game.
Love the app, I would suggest more ways to show the different types of data that it can collect from each gameplay. Also, it would be nice if I next updates it adds a fast first player button, a better co-op or team progress/score count, and a faster way to add pictures to each gameplay. It would be great too if it adds other features as a randomized first player or team selection button. Great app, totally recommended.
The app synced easily with BGG. All my games are there. For $3, you get a -basic- app. Which is fine. Does everything you need it to. The main reason I bought this was for the in-depth stats, and that's an additional $3 for it. One thing I would like in a future update: Please give me the option to collapse game expansions into a folder with the base games. Yikes! It doesn't look as sleek when scrolling through Munchkin or Dominion, and there's like 10 of them that are just expansions.
Great board game tracker, can connect to Board Game Geek and that is awesome when looking for your game. I paid for the extra stats a use it all the time. The only thing I wish it had is a way to combine base games and expansions. They are currently separated but most expansion require a base game to play. I would love to have the expansion as an optional add on when playing a game.
If you are a avid board gamer this is a must have for you. Many great features and analyzing tools. My only gripe is there's a subscription model for the bgg sync service which is only 99ยข but I'm not a fan of recurring purchases. If it was like 10$ or some better one time fee that would be fantastic! Also make sure you get the deep analytics dlc!
