Since the time I opened an ebanking account I 've been using this app until this day.... I loved it and still loving it.... Now also
The app quite slow to open and reach the qrcode. Quite pressure when there is queue behind. What's worse is you can't open it prior at times since you couldn't retain the qr code when switching between app, which is required usually for merchant loyalty. "Offset with point" design is bad that you only can do it right after payment, and you shall not leave the app{eg reply a msg etc) else you will no longer find the button anymore. At times the page just never appear.....
I think best among all payment apps, very comprehensive and stable.
It takes nearly one minute to generate a QR code. Payment has never been so frustrating especially when there is a long queue behind. In addition, can the App shows the credit card balance amount ? Right now only the transaction history is shown. I will have to login via the website to get my balance amount or statement to pay the card. How silly is that.
Needs to show breakdown of transaction that the 雲閃付 app would do, especially for those discounts such as buy $30 minus $5 and you scan to pay (buyer inputs payment amount). It'd be better to show the ORIGINAL price (along with the final price), for merchants to verify, which will avoid any potential disputes that the buyer has underpaid!
Nearly every single operation needs to enter payment passcode. Too cumbersome.
i have boc internel banking account which can be used to login to ebanking from website. but use to register the bocpay still prompt warning my account or password is wrong. i have tried so many times but still got error. just want to ask the developers. have you test all the cases before release the app? by the way, i have a secure code machine for 2 factors auth. so i am not sure if it will trigger the bug. overall, it is a bad app and no completely testing before launch.
The beta app is okay, I suppose, but the "P" menu is just a waste of screen space for me. What normal person wants their personal financial transactions broadcast? I know that I do not need such a feature. No real need to make such public notice of money transfer between individuals. Transparency is already available,
Too overly complicated. Topup was easy in earlier version, but with latest version its now too cumbersome and takes too many steps to do it now. And why do i need to keep on entering passcode to do do anything, even to view the balance? No other app does that!
Please consider to include "GOOGLE PIXEL 3" as the compatible Android mobile devices for using the intended mobile application such as "BOCHK" and "BOC Pay" with fingerprint sensor enabled. Also, please enable to use fingerprint authentication (like Touch ID for iPhone) for login and using mobile token. Thank you for again receiving my opinion. This is my fourth email toward the company that indicating my opinion. My tolerance is not unlimited, please sincerely review my cases.
Very easy to setup and use. Plus it is very easy to earn points for purchases. Also migrating the app to a new device is very quick and easy.
1. Barcode generation need to be further enhanced to ensure both efficiency. Better managing to cut down the time to 2 secs similar to WeChat HK. 2. Where is loan , insurance, credit card application features?
Open app while queuing up. Force you to update. Ok fine. Then the only way to login is via a code send via SMS. Arrived 7 minutes later after pressing resend at 3 times. Lovely.
The app is very unconvenient for non-BOC customers to register. the ID Photo capturing function is not working at all after a few attempts.
Whenever I need to pay I was forced to update. Totally not enjoyable with pressure from the queue at the back. What's the point to have this even slower while I supposed to be faster?
I was unable to do registration with my boc online banking login. I was told incorrect login or password but I was sure I input 100% correct. I did so many times but no luck even asked boc staff for help. They also didn't know the reasons...
Originally it worked pretty well but after the recent updates, the App was forced closed for many times and failed for payment tranactions. Too bad user experience pls have it fixed
Not support new HKID card. Wasted my time to do scan ID card again and again. Then I suddenly found a message that new smart ID card not supported. Really not acceptable that the new HK ID card had been released for a long time 😐
when i try to register fast payment system with my email, i found that i cannot get any activation code. i think it is bug.
idiotic app, can't her get the picture correct, do you want us to use it or not? I tried pay me, alipay, wechat pay, all is so easily set up but your bocpay, you can forget about having people on board, dumb developer
Tried to register too many times and kept rejecting my hkid card....then finally once went to face recognition then failed...compete and utter waste of my time. Don't even bother!
Rubbish app.....it sent verification code over 5 mins but restricted me to input the code within 2 mins in app......tried several times but failed to register......what a trash!
This is a user friendly app. But no matter how good it is, it is of no use when the merchants, such as PnShop, has poor signal.
Jan 25 2021: The newest update still not support oneplus, what's happened? I don't use this app anymore Nov 2020: Not support OnePlus finger print, all bank app full support OnePlus but BOC and BOC pay. Please fix asap for HK OnePlus usersssssss.
registration failed, every time asking to turn my face to the left then 1 sec it sed timeout, I tried so many times but it doesn't work
is fingerprint working? it asked me to activate the finger print function, but i am using it from time to time...

Poor experience. Why make everything requires SMS OTP before allowed to perform one action?! Who think of this stupid user experience? I don't see how this improves security at all.
Rubbish App. it does not work for registration, face dectection need close the eye, wait my time.
NEVER NEVER USE THIS APPS !!! The most rubbish App I have ever used! extremely unstable, unable to login in again once logout. Don't use it unless you want to lose all the money!
