The thumb temperature scan only provides simulated results. I understand that it is not intended to show real results, but it's not particularly clear, and people might make medical decisions based on this. This app is dangerous and I'm actually going to contact Google and try and take it off of the market
Ehhh I have my doubts about this one. my temp is usually a little lower than "normal" and when using my finger on this I know my hands were cold but it's still registering slightly higher than the "perfect" 98.6. additionally since I have plenty of time on my hands I stuck the tip of my nose on the finger print icon and it register basically the exact same numbers.
Seems to be a good app.. Them darn pop up ads are of course annoying..seems like more then occasionally if I try to close out a ad it takes me to the app store to download it..a few more times of that and its delete time for this app... I hate ads forced on me...the game ads you got me watching the whole ad.
The app did take a temperature but it changed depending on which finger was used. The readings at the time of reading were changed when inserted into the diary. For a correct indication a temperature must be recorded using the figure as measured. For this reason I have uninstalled the app.
Downloaded and tested and great to know i am alive and well. Second time did not work. Now it keeps going into the dairy. So my wife and I can not take our body temperature anymore. Does this app works only once a day, month or year. You should be able to take you body temperature as much as you need it, especially if you are going through a fever. Can someone reply about how many times you can take temperature? Sincerely,
The finger scanning result says that it's a simulation, so can I actually trust the results? I don't think so. Uninstalling since the scanning is not doing what it's meant for and that was upsetting.
Looked for an app when both of our digital thermometers died and none available even on Amazon. Easy to dismiss ads and move on. Received a new thermometer today and found results to be accurate.
Rubbish!!! You can't get to the app to actually use it without fighting your way through multiple completely unlinked and pointless ads. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Update: I have obtained a functional digital thermometer and I even got tested at a drive up testing site. The values read by the app show my temp as normal even though I am running a fever of 101.1 Do not trust this app at least with the Honor 7x phone.
It gave me a temperature and pulse reading without even touching the fingerprint sensor. Don't trust it for one minute to be accurate so immediately uninstalled.
This app does not work. It's giving people a false sense of good health when they are actually sick. I compared this app to a real thermometer, having a fever, this app still showed that I had a normal temperature. THIS APP IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE REMOVED.
Stupid APP... There is no temperature sensor on the LCD screen. LCD only has a capacitance sensor. Need a special semiconductor for sensors like LM35, TMP36, ds18b20, E3D, AM2320 and many other semiconductors but not capacitive sensors. Yes... temperature can indeed affect capacitance but it's not an accurate measuring tool
Maybe I couldn't understand how to use but all it does is a simulation probably because I blocked the video access when initialising the app? Why would a temperature reader need access to video? 🤷🏾♂️ Uninstalled but 1m downloads is hard to ignore so trying again
The app doesn't let you enter the temperature in the past. It would be nice to switch to C and not to see F, or vice versa. Uninstalled.
good. this helped me to get my temperature of the body when I was in need of a thermometer. a very well designed app. can note down the temperatures. if this type of app is there then what's the need for a thermometer!
Mouth and body thermometer readings differ by 1 grade from the aap reading. It reads 37° and the other 2, reading is 36.3°. It is not very accurate.
When it works it's fairly accurate. But takes forever to open and I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. No more.
The sim feature is misleading. People think this app can detect our temperature by only touching finger into screen.
Welcomes you with a full screen video advertisement when you push start button, there are much better ways of showing advertisements.
It works. But the advertising every single time is terrible and going to remove the app.
I would suggest to improve this app by making this app as a body temperature data recorder, reducing amount of ads and remove simulation feature as it's better not to make not proper feature.
This app does not actually measure anything. It makes a cool little sound when you put your finger on the button, generates random results, and even states that the result values are simulated. If anything this app will keep people who need a dr. From seeing one. It needs to be removed from the play store.
