I haven't been using this app for long, but it does seem - to me, as a beginner - like a decent guide for beginners. Their is a guide to follow for your daily exercises or stretches, and the app has basic gifs to show you how to do the exercises, if, like me, you've never really worked out before. One thing I think I'd fix is that some of the gifs, I feel like, don't adequately show you how to do the whole exercise because it just kind of 'snaps' back to the first frame of the gif. Great app!
I really, really wish it had a check mark button at the end of the workout, that when pressed would go to the workout log showing 100% completion for the routine. I feel like I have to close the app and reopen to see that my progress is saved.
I've used it once and really like it. I love the fact that you are able to choose your progression stage, sets, and reps. The YouTube video links are AWESOME! Veery well thought out app. Will purchase pro- version!
Very cool app, parts of the interface seemed a bit unintuitive at first, but nothing I couldn't get over. Would be great to have additional exercise options, but there's nothing better for starting out with a solid routine, especially for free.
Simple but really well designed. Each exercise has a progression and you can work up the progression at your own pace. Only thing I'd recommend is getting something to do pull-ups and dips with otherwise theres not much need for equipment.
Really great app. having built in rest timer and a gif for correct form is great. It would be good to have a "finish workout button" at the end. And potentially more progression for the squat. But this app is so good!!
Great beginner guide to exercises when you need a little direction. These guys know what they are doing and built a great app for bodyweight training. The super simple and straightforward design is really refreshing.
The app works well and has an easy interface. The number of stretches/exercises are limited, but has enough to get anyone started with a good exercise routine.
Great help for the reddit bodyweight program. Clear offline videos. To the developer: Only the option to add or move exercises would be good. Also certain exercises could have more progressions, like the arch or squat. Thanks!
I think course is awesome. The UI is a little unintuitive until you press a few buttons you didn't mean to. Then it makes sense.
Great app and very effective. Dropped a star because some of the level jumps need to be more incremental or in the case of push ups don't seem to reflect difficulty.
just started to improve conditioning. a bit wrist heavy for the first sessions. other than that pretty good. most of the exercises can be done without equipment
Excellent. All I wanted was a simple app that explained the programs in a basic way, so for me this is perfect. Kudos to the developers! Let's see if I can finally touch my toes ;)
Everything you need. Except a pull-up bar and dip bars. But other than that, the other stuff in here is amazing. Great app. Would recommend. Pixel 3
Great results! I've had great results with my pull up. Following the strength, flexibility, and mobility programs are really helping me to gain muscle, mobility and fitness during lock down.
If you could add darkmode for ease on the eyes and battery savings that would be amazing, and something I would happily pay for if it were a pro exclusive or something.
This is one of the better workout apps I've used. While it seems lower budget, I find the interface more straightforward and effective than others.
Too far above my fitness level right off the bat. I thought the review indicated that we can choose the fitness level. Maybe so, but it's baseline is too high for me.
Simple and effective. Love this app. It's got lots of variations and even though I am pretty strong I haven't hit my limit. Helps to have a pull-up bar and a few chairs for dips
Matches the r/bodyweightfitness perfectly. Very easy to adjust levels of difficulty
Great app, easy to use, the only equipment you need can be found at most playgrounds. Ads don't interfere with using the ap.
Simple. Efficient. Although not to be taken as the holy grail. This is just a guide for beginners. As you progress to harder levels you might want to create your own routine.
The exercises are easy to follow and effective. There is no unnecessary fluff included. Definitely worth a try!
Love the app, takes you through the whole shebang of calisthenics. Let's you choose which part of the progression you're on which is extra helpful for beginners and intermediates. Also accounts for rest between sets. It basically holds your hand through the whole thing to be honest.
