The app is very easy to use and friendly for consumers. I get to transfer $$ through different accounts with just a few taps away. Dont have to come in and wait in line to do so! But I do want to make a suggestion! I hope the app can eventually have an option for us to input our travel notifications. like just in case last minute planned a trip where we need to use our card and forgot to notify our bank. so instead of being declined we go on our app and just update it.
Been using the app for years. It's okay, buy it could be better. Compared to the website, the app lacks in design. Recently, I've been having login issues. Despite setting a pin code, I would be redirected back into the login screen, annoying. Despite my credentials being completely okay to login on browser, the app wont log me in without additional security. And despite inputting the correct information, I am unable to login using the app. I've called BOH but no help.
Please look into fixing some of the bugs, including updating links to resetting passwords. The windows and links are designed for desktop not a mobile app making it difficult to access. Also, look into an easier, simpler way of log in without telephone verification for those traveling or without landlines. And perhaps reduce the amount of questions in the security verification section and use recent and up to date questions for U.S. SS card holders with boh accounts. It is certainly convenient when you can access without issues, but when you run into problems you get tangled up in a web of more problems and its impossible to troubleshoot without calling customer service or visiting a branch which sometimes is not always that simple.
I use to love this app but since the new update it asks me the sign in again which I'm having trouble doing because of the extra layer of security code. It doesn't even send me a text to confirm. As I'm reading other recent comments I've noticed I'm not the only one. I have waited for 2 days and still NOTHING has changed. I honestly love the convenience of this app and it's super easy , but this problem has set the bar really low for me. Please fix it.
App used to be excellent but since the recent updates, it's been challenging to log-in to my account: I have to re-enter my username and password even though I already have a pin set-up for quicker log-in. Also, it prompts me to re-enter my username even though I've selected "save my username". Really used to be seamless and efficient but it's not very user-friendly now. Added security is a must but it should also be easy to use by customers.
I haven't been able to log in. App requires text message verification but the app never sends the message. I went to the bank and confirmed my phone number on file was accurate. The bank employee tried to log in on her app and it would not send her the verification code either. Be super frustrating. BOH online banking has been terrible as well.

App has been inconsisent hanging on white screen when opening. Had to clear app data every so often to get the app to work. I've been BOH customer for 23 years, been using this app for 10 years. This bug on the app is really bugging me and annoying.

I use the same information to log in through an internet browser and I have no problems, but when I try to sign in with the app, it says "Invalid username or password". Customer Service line doesn't help either and is a hassle.
This app is one of worst banking apps that I have try to use. It never recognizes the device, it freezes, it ask for new password everytime. But that is in line with their poor service. Don't even try to call unless you have all day.
Had an earlier version that was not user friendly so I hadn't been using for more than a year. Recently I decided to check if the app had improved. To my delight and surprise, the version I started using is so much earier to use. Thank you, BOH. Mahalo.
Ever since I updated to the newer version, I can't login to my online banking. It keeps telling me that it has sent a text message for security purposes, but I never receive any text. It's been a month that I can't login to my account.
Never used this type of setting, but I navigated easily with this app. My banking with BOH is much easier. Thanks
After the latest update i had to authenticate my account and they will send a security code via text message but I never receive any text message. I have been locked out of my account for almost a week now.
Everytime i log in, it always ask for the security code and my number every single time. By the time i receive the security code, i have to retry because it says the code is invalid. Ive officially been locked out of my account for 24 hours. Worst experience ever !
If your not with BOH; you should be. This app is fantastic. I have just gotten. It. And I'm already very please with the UI and the convenience of not needing my physical card or having cash on me. Get it! You won't be disappointed!
most of the time, you can't log in because of some random error, ie infinite loading, says data error, no connection, etc.
easy access to all my accounts. Save money for gas and mileage for my car. Online banking anywhere anytime really savea a lot of my time. Thanks a lot for having this apps.
The convenience features are better than other banks. You can do almost anything from the app which is perfect during COVID19 time.
I wish there is a feature for transfer to external accounts via ACH. Bank of Guam app and Pen Fed app has such a feature. Come on BOH, I believe you can do better.
Soooooo convenient! I love it! Especially during these hard times with this pandemic COVID-19 social distancing, and so forth. But don't take my word for it though. Give the app a try, and find out for yourself!
This app is so useful..however with the new updates I can't seem to log in..with the extra security detail i don't seem to be receiving the code I need to login to my account..hopefully this issue can be resolve ASAP..
Ever since the update, it is impossible to login. I thought this app was created to provide convenience and less trips to the bank. Dang.
After some update, I have to log in with my password each time even with fingerprint login enabled in both phone settings and in app settings. And, my Zelle option disappeared. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, reset my phone, cleared cache related to BOH but it didnt resolve the issue. Customer Service is also a pain to call, when they pick up they don't know how to help me 😕
