When this app works, I love it, but every few weeks it disables quick access, won't take my password and forces me back to my laptop to reset my password, receive a code, and start over with the setup process. It is horrible. This needs to be fixed!
This app has gone down hill. Nothing works. The Zelle feature is gone. Transferring funds is problematic. This app tells me I need an account to transfer from as I'm logged in to the account. It's completely stupid. Developers, please fix!
Used to be a decent app. Now it lets me set up a passcode to access it quickly but then it gives me a message saying for security reasons I still have to give it my user id and password, wait for a text and plug that in. It also frequently makes me re-enroll for online banking. That makes the app terribly unuser friendly.
This app is very unpredictable in that suddenly you're asked to open your account with username and password! If you're on the road it really is an inconvenience. With other bank apps, there's no problem. I hope they'll fix this problem!
Decent, pretty basic, but it seems to be broken in a decent update. I use fingerprint login for most of my apps, but it's not working correctly now, demanding password authentication after accepting my fingerprint. I'm using the fingerprint specifically to AVOID passwords!
This banking app is trash. Before it was good. Now it's not good. I have my fingerprint sign in activated and it recognizes it but it still asks me to input my user login id and my password. Also, it always asks me to put my number in and enroll as if i was not enrolled before. I've been a BOH member for almost 5-6 years now and this banking app has gotten terrible since i first became a member. I'm considering switching banks because if this. Terrible experience i give this app -5 stars.
Buggy. I have had to re-enroll more than a dozen times. Uninstall the app...reinstall...on a current phone , not some antique.....cuz I know the developers like to blame the phone. It isn't the phone. It's your app. And why can't Experian Boost access BoH? Lack of an IT department?
This is a great site. I can take care of any banking i need sooner. I am only giving 4 stars because it is a hard time signing in. I set it for fingerprint sign in but it requires authorization every time. No fingerprint or pin access ever.
Same as many others: Was good until last update. I have to fully log in every day; I select remember me, I register my device, I change my pin. The app remembers me until the next day, then I have to do it all over again. IF I WANTED TO DO ALL THAT I'D JUST USE THE REGULAR WEBSITE! Fix this, quit wasting my time please. Galaxy 21
Why do I constantly have to authenticate and enter code? I like to access my account quickly so I use Quick Access. What's the point of having Quick Access if I have to enter username and password, and code all the time??
It takes a little searching to find things, like mobile deposit, if you are not familiar with the app. layout could be more simple. Easy to maneuver from account to account and easy to see all your accounts summary on a single page. Once you have discovered where things like transfers and mobile deposit are, it is simple to use.
This app used to be really good. Simple and easy. Not sure if there was a recent update, but in the last 3 weeks I've had so many issues. Like others have said I've just been getting a white screen whenever I open the app. On the occasion that something does load, it tells me there's a login error. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing and it still won't work. So disappointing as I do a lot of banking related things.
It works, but is clunky and unreliable. The auto fill for signing in never works. If you are making multiple deposits, you have to click thru 3 screens of legal for every. Single. One. The images of the check are often rejected, forcing multiple attempts. Large deposits will initially be accepted, then later declined by email, forcing you to visit the bank.
Fairly decent. Not as I intuitive as can be. To do mobile deposit, you'd think it would be in a menu or somewhat more obvious. Instead you tap on the plus when looking at account/s. I thought that was to add accounts. Once found how to video, pretty easy. Easy to see multiple accounts and the recent transactions. Haven't done anything else yet.
I logged into the app successfully, then configured it to log in with my fingerprint next time. However, next time, it still asked for username and password, then continued to deny me access saying that the information I entered was incorrect! I eventually had to use the browser on my phone just to check my account activity, which was frustrating because it kept having me jump through so many hoops! Too many glitches and errors. Ugh!
This app used to be better but updates make it worse. There is no longer a biometric login option, and every time I log in I need to re-enroll my phone number and input a text message code. It's inconvenient and wasn't an issue before. Other than that mobile check deposits are a great feature and it's nice to be able to check my balance relatively easily.
Every other time I try to open the app it asks for Authentication requiring Name & Password (it is set for finger print ID), then a texted code to my phone, then after receiving a code on my phone and inputting it I am asked for my phone number to Enroll as if I haven't been enrolled for years. Tech support says this will happen every time my phone gets an update. Doesn't happen with other banks' apps. Pissed me off every time.
Functionality is 5 star. Layout and menu is 2 star or less. If i don't remember to hit that plus sign I can be completely unable to make a mobile deposit without watching the video on how to do it. I am somewhat technically savvy (can do it svcs for my small business networks and remote users) and i find making mobile deposits difficult to figure out- it is not intuitive. The plus sign commonly indicates "zoom". And finding that "continue" button is also not intuitive at all. Fix it!!!
Pretty easy to use. I left out 1 star because sometimes the app is down and would have to "try again later" and also not clear to where you can do a transfer or deposit a check. I had to hunt or take a lucky guess. I always use this app to check my accounts, but I don't always deposit since I have direct deposit. So guessing where the "deposit" option is what's lacking.
Recent Update Isn't Great I've enjoyed the mobile app until recently. It's annoying to have to keep entering my password when I do a transfer between my accounts, especially because I am already logged into the mobile app. Please get rid of this extra step. Also, the app has acted weird a few times and always asks for authentication when I try to sign in with biometrics. Please fix this. If these issues are fixed, the app would be 5 stars for ease of use.
So far an ok experience. I can do what I need to. My fingerprint log in doesn't work. Keeps saying requires authentication no mater how matrices I set it.
I can't sign in...I've reinstalled it multiple times. I have to open the website in order to check my account. This app is useless.
This app worked fine for a long time, but today forced an update -- except that the update gets stuck partway through, on both mine and my wife's phones, rendering the app completely unusable. After both phones got stuck updating, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but when I tried opening it, it still said the app needed to be updated, and it still freezes while trying to update.
Still a small nightmare. 6 steps to login into an app almost every single time. Used to work fine. They ruined it.
I don't know why, but BoH app ALWAYS logs me out. After I set up a PIN to quickly log in, soon after I get logged out. Having to set up everything again and again and again.
The design concept is not too user friendly. Particularly, there are functions which are not usable but still listed on the menu. E.g. I tried to set up an external account for fund transfer, spent three months on that and still couldn't set up. At the end, calling the bank's helpdesk, they told me their bank doesn't support external account find transfer. What a joke! Finger print login didn't work, uninstall and reinstall to fix problem.
