It is a very well made game. I did enjoy playing it initially. However, it is way too obvious that the developers are only going after money. The game is broken. If you enter a level with 1000 stat requirement with a run time of 2.5 minutes, for example, it is really easy to beat if you have a 1001 stat. However, if you enter with 999 stat, it would be extremely difficult to beat and take around 10 minutes to complete. Halloween event pass showed that it is a pay to win game. Greed ruined it.
I want to like this game, and I think I do, however during Boss fights the 'fire' button stops working. I'll be able to move and jump, but my aim/shoot control and the specials stop working. I have a Pixel 3, so I feel like this shouldn't be happening - bit frustrating! Great looking game though and the concept is cool. Will up the star rating if a fix is found.
TONS of fun with great characters. My only issue is that you can quickly hit a brick wall due to levels being harder than you can possibly level, even with grinding every event possible as soon as it recharges. I still enjoy the game myself, but some people may get bored and frustrated. It would also help if repeating missions were actually worth it past the first few upgrades. It's not even worth the time to redo a level for 1% or less of the coins you need, even if it's under a minute.
Completely frustrating! You hit a point in the game where your characters aren't strong enough to play a level. It tells you to level them up but I can't because my ship is at max lvl until I play a certain lvl. It's a catch 22. Your only option is to WAIT for the extra missions which regen after so much time. I want to play the game but am left waiting for the stupid missions! Grrrrr! Time to find a different game! One that doesn't hold you back!!!
I really liked this game. Until game mechanics have changed to a point where even watching ads is not enough to progress in the game. Graphics and other elements are perfect. Very satisfied with the gameplay. But as said introducing new events where it is possible to succeed only with purchases and where even ads are not enough, is enough to deinstall. BTW I would like to pay for the game but price offered are not tailored for each country properly. So in my country this is way too much!
I think it would be much more enjoyable to be able to progress through the levels on normal and then choose to go back and do them on hard for bigger rewards. As it stands now you can't progress untill you do certain levels on hard and leveling up isn't easy if you don't spend money. The game needs some give. And I think choosing to go back to do the levels on hard for bigger rewards once all others are done is pretty good incentive. Plus it gives you the chance to level up your character.
The gameplay is amazing, no limitation on energy, graphics are great and smooth, but alas there is only one glaring issue. I just hit level 15, the end of zone 3, and i was given the choice to either grind every grindable zone, or pay $50+ for the gear to continue. $50+ as a temporary gear package is bloody outrageous. I pay that much for a full AAA game. When you have as much content, graphics, and audio quality as Skyrim, then we'll talk about $50.
This game is fantastic and has so much potential. On the other hand; it has loading times that are annoyingly long even for a single frame map that doesn't move (PvP, dailies); the gameplay is stunted, the moving about is not good and the answering time (as well with buttons) is really bad. Still, a refreshing game with potential. Due to slow loading, I am not going to play this game again nor pay more for it since the prices are rather steep.
Typical bait and switch. Game ads showed a "portal" like fixed shooter. More of a puzzle style game. What you actually get is a side scrolling auto aim at nearest enemy. Dodge bullets. I Played a few levels. It reminds me of contra from the original NES days but worse. If that's what your into you'll probably like it. Show the real game play in the ads. It may be a bonus round or unlockable mode. Im not going to play it long enough to find out. The opening mode is pretty boring.
At random times the jump buttons closes the game! I am able to reopen and continue the battle that I was in, unless its during the online buddy events or bunker mode! I have missed out on tons of tags and points because of this! I have made in app purchases too, and it's very frustrating, because it does happen quite often! I have tried reinstalling the game but it did not fix! I would love to continue playing but I feel like I have lost so much due to this issues. Please help!
Great game! Plenty of things to keep you busy and constantly improving your characters. You can farm for gold if you are bored, no time based energy system. My only qualm is that the levels require a certain power or they are ridiculously hard, which I could see leaving you stuck for a while on certain levels. Overall a well done simple shooter game with unlimited upgrading potential
It gets repetitive VERY quickly. Next to no enemy variety and very samey situations from map to map. Things also take longer than necessary a lot of the time, as enemy health is tied to an arbitrary power system made to encourage you to spend money. It feels forced, as that type of progression system really doesn't mix well with this kind of game. To add to this, you're assaulted with multiple "deals" nearly every time you boot the game up, also encouraging you to spend. :/
So far, from what I've played, the game is pretty great. The only major problem for me, is the thumbstick placement and the size of the buttons. I have long fingers, so not being able to customize the size/placement of the thumbstick and jump button is a sort of turn off. Also, allowing us the option to switch from thumbstick to dpad would be a really nice touch. Overall, I like the game and even look forward to playing more of it despite what I've said. Great job!
As these games go - it's fun and fast paced at the begining, but then the timers get longer and and the game pace slow down a lot. Of course you can pay money for wome boost. Another design decision that I don't get is that you don't really get anything (50 gold) for repeating missions and the stars awarded for missions don't seem to have any impact whatsoever.
Really nice game, but essentially, a cash milker. Smooth controls, fine graphics, some story that I don't really care for, lots of fine fun that requires finesse, but really bad rewards for old missions, lots of waiting for everything, high prices for everything, free stuff given are not enough to feel the difference. You need to pay and you need to pay LOTS. Game constantly offers you bunch of payable things all the time which speaks a lot about the game's nature...
Good game, reminds me of Metal Slug. The controls are good but takes some getting used to. The problem is, at act 3 it is starting to get really hard to advance if you don't pay to get better equipment. The game provides free loot from time to time but like any other gatcha game out there most you'll get are useless equipment.
To be honest, the game is boring. the gameplay is nearly non-existant because most of the time you are just a bullet sponge and you can't fail a mission unless you tried while other times you have to have high health points to beat (example the second boat level), out of the 3 character types i only feel like the assult one was the only playable one because the other characters seem like they were designed only for the boring wave based daily mission mode. Best phone metal slug clone. Good luck.
Pro's: Good graphics Base builder (sort of) Decent variety of character/classes Gameplay is very Contra-esque Con's: The curve from too easy to too difficult is too drastic. Example: When you have the recommended power level - its almost impossible to not get 3 stars. When you are short by 1000 points from the recommendation, its practically impossible. The game 1000% has a paywall if you are impatient and want to continue playing. But if you are patient, you can definitely progress w/o pay.
Great game until you have to grind. The gameplay and controls are great, you can play the various levels whilst gaining gear, levels and gear. When you reach the 3rd/4th zone, you then go back to the other levels and complete them on "hard" difficulty to be able to progress to other zones. This is where requirements for the areas increase drastically and it's a slow journey to progress. Other than that I can't fault it. PvP and CO-OP add to the game and you can gain premium currency easily.
Completely pay to win but you will release only in the high levels where people have full stars heroes and full equipment (exceptional equipment comes only by purchase and is the best). But fair is fair: it's a very good game for distraction. You became obsessed in get better and beat the levels, players e etc. Hard to collect resources but not in a bad way. The system to calculate the power of the enemies in the levels of history mode is insane: hit kill if you are higher impossible otherwise...
I love this game! It's fun to play and reminds me of an upgraded version of Contra. My only complaint is the new "Bro" mode. If you even make it past the level, you can lose out on getting 3 coins to a "bro" that died and didn't respawn if their damage percentage was higher. So, basically, they quit, you finish the level, and they get rewarded. Lame.
