Boo - 3D Avatar & AR Chat

Meh. It's basically a 3d bitmoji. But with worse options. They really don't have a lot of options when it comes to anything. Not a ton of short hairstyles, not a ton hair colors, no way to change body shape, not a ton of eye shapes, bitmoji really just has way more options. And boomoji has their weird little "pay to get all the options" thing and I'm not too fond of it. Nice idea, poorly executed. Bitmoji really is just a lot more customizable.

This app is great! But I would appreciate more hair options. My hair is medium length but in the app, there are only options for longer hair or shorter hair then mine. The only one that KINDA fits me is the strait hair one on the top row when editing your bitmoji (3rd one). I would like it if y’all would add some more hair options in that length. The other thing I would like to request is more options on the lips and eye colors. My lips are full, but more on the top then on the bottom. I would like it if y’all could create some lips that are not just full on the bottom like it has in the app. Second of all, the eye color. My eyes are very different among other eyes. My eyes are blue but green at the same time. I think it would be cool if there were eye color options that were green and blue mixed not just green or just blue. Thank y’all so much for this great app! I hope that the developer can respond to my review soon.

I think it would be better if there were more hair color choices because I have multi colored hair, about like four different colors in my hair and it doesn't have more options for that. Also there's not very many clothing choices but it's still okay. I'd love to see more makeup options and maybe do some more facial features, like freckles or my tattoos. Also it'd be cool if they had piercing options and hats! 😊😊❤

It's pretty awesome where it challenges alot of players and the best part is high scores restarts at the end of the month or week so anyone has a chance to be at the top of the leader board. Also the changing the outfits and features are pretty impressive. The dancing and AR incorporated into the app is one of the highlights... Just wish developer would fix the bug on Boo play because it lags and then i have to exit and go back into the game to get going again..

I downloaded this just minutes ago but couldn't even make myself because girls, I guess, are physically incapable of having short hair. They actually had one short hair for girls but it was far from what mine looks like and meanwhile there were 30+ options for short hair for guys. Like it actually makes more sense to have fewer options for long hair because it's usually just one of 4ish different styles but with different colors. Girls can have short hair, guys can have long hair, get over it!

This app his great! I love how it can change the mood while texting instantly! I love the variety of photo options there are. But, I have a few things that I would like in this app. I showed it to my 8 year old brother, and now he wants it. The only problem is that the app has a few curse words that I don’t want him to have access too. I would love an option to hide those from him on the app.I want to be able to make a few avatars on the app without deleting my original one. It would be nice to have slots to save a few avatars. Overall, I think that this app is very great. It’s fun sending a mini version of yourself to someone over text!

Dreadful. After designing my character, I'm blasted with a full screen page asking me if want to try a free trial. I click the 'X' and it asks me again if I would to try it only with a longer trial. I click 'X'. What does it do? It keeps circling the 2 pages until I accept the offer. Finally I found in the fineprint the option to decline. After officially being in the app, it was slow and just overall boring. Unless you plan on buying premium, you won't enjoy this money-hungry app.

This is a really good app, I use it with my friends and family and we go back and forth and back again. I really like the fact that theres more then one emotion to these!!! Another thing is that you can change your hair and clothes!!!! Sometimes a girl like me changes their hairstyles a lot. In conclusion this is a really good app for me!! Theres no games on it tho, like mini games that would be nice. But I think that is a stupid idea Im just putting it out there BTW.The worst thing is that people under 13 cant join but I understand, but srsly cut some of your cussing down.

It's cool, I guess. It glitches CONSTANTLY to the point where you can't even use or see the stickers. One of the glitches involves everything working fine but your boomoji is expressionless. It would be awesome if it didn't glitch so much. Other than that though, everything else is great. So many options and cute animations.

Lately the app crashes after it has fully loaded which is super annoying and when I try making a video, my avatar's face isn't complete. It just has eyes, glasse, s mouth and earrings. The complexion I chose isn't showing and it doesn't sync with my movements. Please fix this fast. I love the app but will love it even more if i can actually access the app

Another app that I didn't get the opportunity to use for an accurate rating because the dev wants the user to sign up for a 3day trial and then fork out $60 to use it for a year! Um... You aren't selling software licenses. It's a game (maybe. I'm not sure.) IMO- the best strategy for a fun app like I hoped this would be is to charge for add-ons and upgrades. Like, pay for different fashions, backgrounds or functionality and the like. A good way to brand is a "BOO" t-shirt the only free option.

This app has a lot of potential. Unfortunately on my phone Samsung NOTE 8 the AR function only works with the front facing camera and not the back facing camera. Therefore I can't do videos with my avatar. I can do selfie videos but the mouth movement doesn't look realistic as it doesn't sync with my words. It would also be great if the app could record your AR movement and Inport your avitar into a virtual environment instead of just superimposing it on a regular video.

would be a GREAT app, but I cant even make myself? they didnt have my skin tone, hair type (or color lol), eye shape, or lip size. I was scrolling through the options (which actually isnt a lot at all) to see if at least my friends could make themselves, and well, they couldn't. my suggestion is that you allow us to customize our features like ZEPETO, include makeup and more feminine features for the boys, more masculine hairstyles for the girls, and curly hair too please.

i played this on my friends phone and it was really really good. so many options!!!!!! however, every time i try to open it, it loads until there is only about 4 mm left to liad and then it just stops. the animation doesn't stop, just the loading. not sure if this is just my phone or the app though.

I really like this app, it's so easy to use and the majority of things are free. When putting it into your face it recognises your face quite easily and it's just really fun. Although I wish you were able to put your face onto photos, and you could add friends.

I don't like that this app apparently has to have access to everything on your phone. It's utterly unnecessary. That, and it made my phone heat up terribly, which is an indication that it was basically piggybacking and digging for info. So while I love the animation, I love my security more. Bye Boomoji.

I just got the app today. It wont let me do certain things until I add friends, but it wont let me find friends. It wants me to add friends through my contacts, the bump thing, or a scan. But none of my friends have this app nor are they into this kind of thing. Please fix this and the glitches and I'll rate it a 5!

The app is pretty cool but i wish the items were free and that you can add multiple characters. Other than that is doesn't lag and i have had an awesome experience so far. If ypu are looking for an app where you can create yourself i would choose this one.

Just got it today. Really good app for message avatars, but the only problem I have is that when I try to play the mini games, the screen flashes and the avatars glitch black at certain points. Please fix this. It really hurts my eyes, even without an eye problem.🤨😓 Thx. 😃

Unfortunately this app doesn't work with the Google Pixel 2, with is a fairly new and high end phone. From what I read in the reviews, this app has a lot of bugs to work out before getting that 5 star rating. Another thing is, some of items it demands to have access to aren't really relevant to the app itself, without catches my attention.

I use Bitmoji practically everyday. It is so funny, and fun. I have a few suggestions. This would make it even better. Maybe more hair colors, lengths, and styles. Also, a bit more casual, but cute clothes. I would like to have something casual, but not like nerdy, but not like crazy. Maybe also a way that we can match tops and bottoms, and change their color. That way my friend and I aren’t all matching. I think a way to add things like braces would be good, that way it is more accurate. Bitmoji has awesome pictures already, though I think maybe a way to add your own text, or have moving images would be so awesome. Bitmoji is awesome. I would love to add these, but it is awesome already. You can communicate with your friends and express your emotions. It is amazing. I use it daily, and my friends always compliment our bitmojis, and change them often. Bitmoji is amazing!!!!! ??

The issue is fixed. I like the updates! I changed my rating from one star to five stars. The only thing I dont like is the new art style. I like how in version 3.3.2 the model was 3D while having 2D elements. So it still looked very cartoon like with the outlines

This app isn't very good to start off you have to allow it to get access to ur phone number and contact info and ur media and stuff and if u click deny and literally will not let you use the app. Second after you so allow the app after setting up ur character it's glitchy and has a hard time loading and is super slow.

Ehh....I guess it would be fun for a few minutes. However they need a lot more choices to make the Avatar resemble real people. Unless you're a thin teenager you probably aren't going to find anything that looks remotely close to you in faces/body types etc. And the clothing/outfits are all metro.... Uninstalled 5 minutes after installing.
