App doesn't work. Once you select the dragon it will just sit there and load without ever going any further.
There are too many glitches with the timer.
If you don't have a password how are you supposed to get on this game
I have this on 2 Samsung Galaxy Tab 4's. For my daughter it works great. For my son it says he hasn't read for 10 days, but he's actually read all 10 of those days. UPDATED 11/19/15: Apparently there was an update. So, it still works just fine for my daughter. However, it still says my son hasn't done any reading for this month. And every day he goes to read it has taken away some of his coins resulting in a meltdown.
No it's not the worst because if you go to a school you get a paper that has a code I got one and I use book it alot you dummy
Because I didn't have a code I couldn't do it 👿
It's a great app to show my daughter her progress but I have issues with the timer not continuing if I need to use my phone also not being able to change the password to something I'd actually remember is nerve racking if i log out I can't get back in.
A great concept but has issues opening.
I love it sooooooooooo much
It asks for a registration code. I don't have one. :-( how do I get that, so I can help my son with his reading ?
Please let the timer run in the background so I may be on my phone while my son reads. I think it's a great app (I've got just one child) and a fantastic idea, but I use his reading time to make phone calls and whatnot. Right now, to write this review, his timer has stopped even though he's reading. Fix this irk and it's a 5 star app.
My daughter and I share the tablet. If I want to read at the same time as her on my tablet the timer pauses when you leave it. What if she wanted to use the Kindle app to read? Those minutes wouldn't be counted either because the BookIt app is not active. Not very useful to us this way.
This app will subtract minutes from my child after he has read more than his goal was. Don't quite understand what is going on with it but very frustrating to feel like he is being punished for doing more. Please address this issue!! Hopefully the way the teacher is seeing the minutes is coming across accurately. Very disappointed!
The makers of this app need to take in consideration that most families have more than one child. If you log out, which you have to do in order for another child to log in as only one can be logged in at a time, they have to register all over again! So yeah... if you want to use this app keep those codes handy as you will need them... oh and then pick your dragon out again... IF and when this issue is fixed I will reconsider this review and rating....
If you don't own an Apple product or have an Android device you can't access it. Unfortunately in my house the only way my daughter can access this is through my cell phone. Really need consider making this Windows OS compatible. Such as an app for Google Chrome.
I can't download on my android phone so I put it on my tablet but the code from school and name are not recognized. If I can get it fixed I will change the rating
It doesn't recognize my name and I can't use it for school
It won't load of my phone anymore... I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and all I get is a black screen and I checked all the other apps I have on my phone and it's not my phone it is this app.. Please fix
Trying to use this for my kids. App requires me to leave running while my kids read. If my phone rings while they read, this stops the timer... even if my kids continue reading. Does this app really lack the ability to run in the background?
Hated this app the second I opened it. Music blasting during log-in screen and no way to turn it off.
Doesn't recognize my kids name or the registration code that is on the form the school sent home. Maybe if it ever registers I'll change my rating. Not impressed so far.
I open the app and get half a smushed picture with music on a loop. Not working at all. No links or buttons or anything else.
If I have less than one star I sure will assign it. It does not recognize the first or last name.
Does not work on Droid Razr Maxx. Not readable and screen images are scrambled.
Many of my students bring reading logs, but it seems to have been easier with last year's minute tracker to add student minutes, as a class, or just on my own. I like the app..but how bout a teacher app to add, change student minutes read...easily.
It's really just a timer. Sure, my kid loves to buy stuff with the coins she earned and dress up the dragon or whatever, but she can't read an ebook nor can I use my tablet while she's reading nor can we manually enter time when she was reading and I was at work. I find it's easier to just write down her time daily, add it up, and report it at the end.
